Became Pregnant With the Demon King’s Child

chapter 52

"Open the door."

Felix whispered as if pleading. Lowell reached out to open the door, but the knights standing by grabbed his arm.
"Lowell, that’s an order. Open the door."
Lowell and the knights’ gazes met. At the word "order," the knights visibly flinched. Perhaps if they had heard the order directly from Felix it would be different, but since it came through others, they hesitated, torn between protocol and obeying the voice of their liege just beyond the door.

"I’ll open it."
Noticing this, Lowell took advantage of the moment when the grip on his arm loosened and opened the door.
"Step back, please."

Tia and Caris stood in front of Lowell. It seemed they had decided to assess Felix directly before making any further move. Felix shoved his fingers through the narrow opening and shoved the door open roughly, slipping inside with agility. Though his clothes were disheveled and his gaze unfocused, he didn’t appear to be in immediate danger. There were no signs of a rut-induced frenzy.
"Ugh."
But the moment they caught the scent of the pheromones that followed, it became clear that had been a mistake. The pheromones had filled the room in an instant. The faint trace of apple scent was almost gone, replaced entirely by a gloomy smokiness, signaling just how low his mood was.

"Step away from Lowell."
Felix’s command rang out toward the knights clustered around Lowell for protection. The Beta knights hesitated and began to back away, but those who could detect even a hint of pheromones tightened their grip on their swords.
"Your Grace, you could harm the young master right now. Please, step back."

Tia spoke up bravely, but Felix’s gaze remained locked solely on Lowell.
"I don’t intend to hurt you. Come here."
Their eyes met in midair. Even while completely submerged in his pheromones, he hadn’t let go of his reason.

"I’ll take responsibility. Nothing will happen."
Lowell pushed aside the knight’s hand and stepped forward. As if he’d been waiting for it, Felix pulled him into his arms and buried his nose in Lowell’s nape. Their bodies pressed together so tightly it should have hurt, but Lowell calmly released his pheromones, patting Felix’s shoulder as if soothing a child.
"Lowell, I missed you."

Words too honest to say in his right mind slipped out without resistance. At the blatant expression of affection, Lowell’s ears turned red.
"Me too."
"Everything reminded me of you."
An Alpha in rut tends to speak sweet words to seduce an Omega. But everyone in the room knew Felix wasn’t just spouting empty phrases—he was revealing feelings he’d been holding back.

Lowell gestured to Tia, who still looked worried, and without further hesitation, she led the other knights out of the room. Felix didn’t care what anyone else did—he only held Lowell tighter, as if the only world that existed was what he held in his arms.
"I know. I was the same. Even watching the clouds pass made me think of you."
"Say my name."

"What?"
"Like last time—call my name, Lowell."
Lowell had been deliberately calling him "Your Grace."

He didn’t seem to care much about it before, but now he’s clinging like a child.
If he wanted it, there was no reason not to grant it.
"Felix."

"Say it again."
Felix, still burying his face in him, murmured low and thick.
"Felix."

"Don’t run away."
Even with Lowell in his arms, Felix’s trembling voice betrayed his unease as he caressed him. Just the presence of his erection brushing against Lowell’s thigh was enough to show how much he longed to become one with his mate—but the deeper desire was clear: he didn’t want to be hated.
"I’m not going anywhere, Felix."

As Lowell gently brushed back Felix’s trembling face, he added,
"No matter what you do, I promise I won’t leave."
To the Felix who was lost in his lowest state, Lowell pressed a light kiss to his lips. Felix, as if that was all he’d been waiting for, hungrily moved his tongue. It was a far cry from gentle—rough, desperate, and savage. His hot tongue swept through Lowell’s mouth.

"I want to be inside you."
Lowell was about to instinctively say it was okay, but paused and calculated.
It’s been more than 85 days since I got pregnant. The most dangerous period should be past by now, right?

The problem was whether Felix, completely aroused, could control himself enough not to hurt him. Lowell forced himself to stay cool-headed and looked up at him.
"Give me permission."
Felix’s neck was taut with veins as he spoke. He was exerting every ounce of mental strength to suppress the beastly Alpha instinct. Lowell decided to trust him—to believe in the promise that he wouldn’t hurt him.

I’ve already decided to trust him. I’ll see it through.
Lowell wrapped his arms around Felix’s waist. That alone was enough—Felix read the permission instantly and carried him to the bed.
"Since we have our little squirmy in there, you can’t be too rough. No knotting inside either."

"Squirmy?"
A flicker of light passed through Felix’s clouded eyes. Lowell nodded.
"Yeah. Our baby."

"Right. Our… baby."
Laying Lowell down, he gently rubbed his stomach. It wasn’t too noticeable yet, but it had definitely rounded a bit compared to the first time they’d made love.
"I’ll be careful. I won’t hurt you—or the baby."

Felix rasped, voice hoarse, as he clumsily reached to undress Lowell. He started with the buttons but his shaky fingers wouldn’t cooperate.
"Can I tear it?"
Like a child, Felix asked about everything one by one. Aware that he was no longer in full control of his reason, he left all the decisions to Lowell—as if Lowell were the standard of right and wrong.

"Yes. It’s okay."
With that permission, Felix easily tore the clothes apart. His sharpened black magic shredded the fabric without leaving a single scratch on Lowell’s body. His pale skin gleamed stark against the dark, like the snowstorm raging outside the window.
"Beautiful."

Felix murmured again, just like that time when the words had slipped out without his realizing. He didn’t thrust in right away. Instead, he continued to kiss every part of Lowell’s body. ✪ Nоvеlіgһt ✪ (Official version) Lowell, now the calmer of the two, reached for Felix’s trousers.
"Let me take these off."
Unlike Felix, his hands were precise and practiced as he removed them. Felix watched blankly, then climbed over him. Even now, he seemed mindful of the baby—he spread his legs and trapped Lowell between them.

"I’ll start with fingers."
Lowell’s hole was still tightly shut, not even moist. Though Felix’s pheromones had softened considerably, it wasn’t enough to take in his fully erect cock.
"Please do."

Lowell had been about to say Felix could go straight in, but judged that would be dangerous—so fingers first it was.
In the silence of the room, the wet sound of Felix’s fingers working inside Lowell echoed softly.
"You’re heating up inside. Lowell, can you feel how your walls are pulling me in?"

At first there was only discomfort, but once the fingers slid in, his walls began to yield. Felix’s thick fingers burrowed deeper, relentlessly searching for the spots Lowell liked best. His touch was less gentle than it was dominant—as if trying to conquer every inch of him.
"Nngh…"
Despite the roughness, Lowell’s body responded earnestly. When Felix repeatedly pressed the sensitive spot, fluid that had refused to appear began dripping down onto the bed.

"You're acting like fingers aren't enough."
Felix frowned and added a second finger, pressing every part inside thoroughly. Still, it wasn’t stretching enough for what they both wanted. The body wasn’t catching up to the hunger in their minds. Felix withdrew his fingers.
"Still… not yet."

Worried that Felix might lose control and thrust in anyway, Lowell stopped him.
"Yeah. Not yet."
Fortunately, Felix hadn’t been planning to insert yet. Instead of answering why he’d pulled his fingers out, he moved his face down between Lowell’s legs.

"Wait, not there—hold on!"
The same hot tongue that had tangled with Lowell’s just moments ago now licked at his hole. The sharp bridge of Felix’s nose grazed his ass, and a shiver ran across Lowell’s entire body.
