Sun God vs Dragon Lord II
<Sharp Edge!>
She used a buffing spell on herself, more specifically, on her sword. But when she struck forward, she received the same outcome as Vaision, there was a barrier protecting him from piercing damage, she expected this much.
A barrier that even one of the thirteen heroes couldn't pierce, she also couldn't hope to pierce, but someone else could.
"Anna!"
"Yes!"
They exchanged gazes and Anna immediately knew what to do, she aborted all her spells and cast a single one, holding all the armatista she could in two hands.
<Gungnir!>
*RUMBLE!!*
The spell formed dragging energy from all over the world, admittedly shocking Ray, this was clearly not any basic spell. It was like a vacuum of energy that sucked all, even his radiation.
'Interesting~'.
The girl, Anna, had her body begin to change visually, her skin gained a beautiful hue, her hair changed from white to golden, her ears elongated a bit further, her eyes turned green and overall, she gained a new hue of life as in front of her, the roots took the vicious shape of a spear of light, heading towards Ray.
"I need your help, as long as we can buy some time–" Alana shouted at Vaision who upon seeing the spear, knew this was their only opportunity of actually doing something.
"Do what you must!"
<Brilliant Breath!>
*BOOOMMM!!*
The armour spat a powerful beam of white light from his mouth, Ray looked at it and smirked.
"Finaly using your dragon powers? a pity that it is light of all things".
Ray mocked, there was a single stat that determined that not even the brightest hue in this world would be able to outshine his glory as the Sun God.
[Light: 100%]
*BOOOMM!!*
The light impacted Ray but didn't do much more except for feeding him.
"What do you think is the source of light?".
"I refuse to believe... y-you are a God".
Ray smirked and Vaision was ruthlessly pulled by space even as he used all the means possible to resist that magnetic attraction, in the end, he couldn't muster the strength to reject Ray's spatial might.
"I can tell just by your energy. Far away in the mountains, your real body, Tsaindorcus Vaision".
!!!
The armour struggled within God's grasp, helpless.
"I can tell you have lived long, Vaision. Tell me, since you refuse to believe. Have you ever met a mortal this strong?"
*BOOMM!*
With a single slap, the helmet of the armour blasted off, revealing the truth, there was no one inside that armour, no one that Alana or Anna could see. But Ray could sense that energy, coming from far away and influencing the armour.
"I can tell this armour is quite valuable just by feeling the energy it emits, I will be taking it as repayment for the inconvenience, Vaision".
"Wait!–"
<Calcination!>
*WHOOSH!*
The armour and weapons were engulfed in golden flames that consumed it until there was not even dust.
[+40.000 Chaos Points]
Ray gasped, finally something worth his attention. He could see with Energy Records there was a trail of energy coming from faraway west, this energy was connected to the armour, manipulating it. It was pure and dense, resembling lifeforce.
Before it was consumed by the flames, the connection broke off and the sign of energy tried to flee.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Ray grasped the energy with his bare hands.
!!!!
"IMPOSSIBLE! LET ME GO, BASTARD!"
Once again God did something ridiculous and unthinkable that left everyone rooted on the spot, grasping energy with physical hands. sorcerers hadn't heard of that even in myths. They were all quite enthusiastic regarding their career and teachings as wizards. Even Elis, who was in the middle of healing her man, had to stop for a second and clear her eyes to see if what she was seeing was real.
"A dragon asking for mercy? aren't you ashamed of yourself, Vaision? If Ophis was here, she'd be angry–"
"I am".
!!!
Ray was not allowed to finish, a pitch-black claw materialised out of his body and grasped the strand of energy out of Ray's fingers.
"Ophis...?"
The dragoness didn't say a word nor did she explain her motives. Her draconic head protruded out and took a good bite out of that energy.
"Tsaindorcus Vaision. Foreign deity or not, you are a shame to the title of Dragon Lord".
"AHHHHH!!!"
The screams of a dragon resonated loud and clear through the land, entering Alana, Anna, Hellooth and Eris' hearts.
One of the legendary thirteen heroes, a mythical figure venerated by all adventurers in the continent, Tsaindorcus Vaision, mercilessly devoured.
That black easter dragon ate chunk by chunk, producing a hideous munching noise that coupled with the screams of the dragon, could incite nightmares to even Ray whose brows were shivering. He never saw Ophis act like this.
That strand of energy finally cut off as Vaision struggled, Ophis was unable to eat all of it, but she devoured a gigantic chunk.
When she was done, without uttering any explanation, Ophis went back inside Ray's soul, her home. At this time, Ray realised that it was better to not piss Ophis off.
"This is our last chance, I am ready, Alana!" Anna screamed, earning Ray's attention to recall that there was something else in motion. A gigantic root spear of light and runes, ready to launch at him with an energy reading stronger than anything he had faced before.
Anna's complexion was haggard, it was clear she was overdoing herself with this spell and the amount of Armatista she used to conjure it, but this was her last hope.
<Gungnir, Pierce the Soul!>
*WHOOSHH!!*
The arrow got shot his way, Ray frowned, he intended to receive it head-on, but even then, realised that there was something dark and gloomy sticking his feet into the ground, preventing him from fleeing were he to have such an intention.
It was a gooey darkness on one side and an eerie darkness on the other side.
He smirked and stared far away, past the incoming spear, towards the chaotic city murals.
There, a Vampiress and a slime were staring at him, concealed. Once they noticed his gaze, the slime giggled secretly, and the vampires shuddered openly.
"Shaltear Bloodfallen, I will remember this~"
*BOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!*
The moment the spare clashed against him, the forcefield cracked that very instant, an explosion and shockwave took place that scattered the world and sent the adventurers and army flying back in an spectacle of light.
Alana and Anna stared at the spear with hope, struggling to pierce through that forcefield until eventually.
*CRACK!*
It pierced through and clashed against Ray's flesh.
He frowned and looked down to see the spear now struggling to drill through his abdomen, trying to push him back releasing torrents of energy that would have easily shattered someone else's flesh.
Ray calculated that even if it had been Yasaka before becoming a goddess, even she would have fallen to this attack just given by energy readings alone. But, this attack failed to pierce through his flesh in the end.
He used his index finger to deviate the tip of the drilling spear by an inch.
*WHOOOSHHHHH!!*
The spear shot into the horizon, leaving a bloody dot on his flesh that regenerated soon after.
One second...
Two seconds...
*BOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!*
The explosion in the horizon materialised in the form of a glowing green tree of destruction in the distance, the mirage of the life tree, Yggdrasil, the mother tree of the elves. Anna and Alana stared at it wreck havoc, the perfect form of beautiful destruction.
Even the Sun God was awed by the display. No doubt, that was a God Slaying Spell. Sadly, their foe was not any god.
Their foe was a Multiversal Higher God.
