I Am Raditz

Chapter 75: Chapter 75: Frieza!

Raditz's combat power had reached another order of magnitude—he was undoubtedly superior to the entire Ginyu Force.

Goku, who had eaten the Tree of Might fruit, was stronger than Raditz. But after training in the gravity room, the gap between the brothers had continued to narrow. Raditz's fighting power had soared!

Most importantly, the Grand Elder's potential unlocking had finally caused Raditz's hidden abilities to burst forth after so many years! He and Kakarot were brothers—how could his aptitude be poor? It was simply because he'd lacked proper guidance, and his spirit, beaten down by years of being bullied, couldn't explode with power!

Now, Raditz had reached his peak. Even if he faced the gigantic Lord Slug, he wouldn't be afraid at all.

Tears welled in the corners of Jeice's eyes as his trembling body unconsciously crawled toward Raditz.

Too strong!

Perhaps even stronger than Frieza!

If Raditz could really defeat Frieza... their allegiance might be worth changing. But if he failed, the result would be equally tragic...

It was a huge gamble.

And they couldn't risk rejection, knowing that refusal at this point meant only one outcome: death.

Burter wiped away his sweat and exchanged a knowing look with Jeice. Having worked together for years, they could understand each other's thoughts with just a glance.

Their eyes met, and they simultaneously made their decision—compromise for now, and see what happens.

"We surrender," they declared in unison.

Goku, kind by nature, hadn't wanted to take their lives anyway, just to drive them away. The two joining Raditz was good news for him.

Piccolo backed away with disappointment, clearly regretting not getting to finish them off. His cold gaze swept across the pair like a blade's edge, revealing his extreme distrust.

Jeice and Burter felt chills run down their spines.

"Since you're willing to surrender, you should prove it properly." Raditz contained his power, helped the two up, and pointed toward the distant sky. "Frieza's soldiers are approaching. Destroy them—show me your determination."

As he spoke, Frieza's vast army began swarming in from a distance.

Dense black dots could be seen approaching at high speed across the horizon.

Though Jeice and Burter's strength had been greatly reduced, the weakened camel was still larger than the horse—they could still handle common soldiers with their remaining power.

"Yes!"

The two responded to Raditz and slowly flew upward.

"Can you really trust them?" Piccolo asked Raditz in a low voice, still concerned.

"Of course not. The loyalty Frieza has built in their hearts over many years can't be broken so quickly. But now I've forced them into a situation where they have no choice but to attack their own comrades. Once Frieza learns about this..."

"Hmph, you're quite devious," Piccolo showed a wicked smile.

In the sky, Jeice and Burter hadn't yet realized Raditz's intentions. They believed gaining his trust would temporarily save their lives, and they could see which side was stronger before making their final allegiance.

Wind swept across the sky as clouds raced by, seemingly foretelling the outbreak of a great battle.

The breeze blew through Jeice's flowing white hair, creating a stark contrast against his body, which stood motionless like cast iron.

Frieza's soldiers recognized the two elite fighters and immediately saluted them: "Commander Jeice! Commander Burter! What are you—"

Before they could finish, they saw two energy spheres coming straight at them. The blue and red balls of light flew in alternating patterns, spinning and emitting dazzling radiance! Energy dissipated in all directions as the atmosphere vibrated violently.

A cluster of soldiers had no idea what was happening before being annihilated in the massive explosion.

Thick smoke filled the air as debris scattered across the sky.

"Why, my lords, why?"

"This is bad—run!"

The few survivors screamed in terror, not understanding why members of the Ginyu Force had suddenly turned against their own people. But they knew they needed to flee if they wanted to survive!

Everyone immediately scattered, flying back as quickly as possible. Their survival instinct pushed them faster than usual, but it was nowhere near enough against Burter.

"Whoosh!" "Whoosh, whoosh—"

Burter, the fastest of Frieza's men, lived up to his reputation. With a few quick maneuvers, he intercepted the fleeing soldiers and wiped them out completely.

Jeice wasn't far behind, each energy wave striking with incomparable precision—none of them missed.

As the massacre continued, Raditz and the others suddenly trembled, looking toward the distance.

"Dad, there's an incredibly powerful energy signature approaching! It's overwhelming!" Beads of sweat formed on Gohan's forehead and slid down to his chin.

"That must be Frieza."

"Raditz, we need to go!" Piccolo gritted his teeth as sweat dripped down the side of his face.

Frieza's terrifying power was absolute—everyone feared it. Even Raditz, with his newly enhanced strength, had to respect that immense power.

You couldn't fight Frieza head-on without Super Saiyan abilities!

Raditz made a decisive decision: "Hide your energy signatures! Let's move!"

The group turned to leave but suddenly froze in place.

Just as they were about to depart, they saw Namekians appearing in their field of vision. The elder approached with a smile, holding the Dragon Ball. The Namekians cheered and offered congratulations, thanking Raditz for defeating their enemies.

They had been hiding in a narrow canyon behind the rocky mountains, unable to see the battle's outcome, so they sent scouts to investigate. After witnessing Raditz and the others devastate the Ginyu Force, they assumed the danger had passed and emerged to celebrate together. They planned to honor their saviors with their highest ceremonial welcome!

Raditz yelled anxiously! These foolish allies—why couldn't they just stay hidden?!

"Damn it! Go back and hide!"

The Namekians were taken aback, and the elder stood stunned and confused. Had they done something wrong? Was their welcome not warm enough?

"Quickly, go back!" Goku shouted again.

"But why... Could it be..." The Namekians hesitated, their feet still not moving.

Raditz was so anxious that sweat poured down his face. He wanted to knock them out and carry them away! But time was running out—Frieza's energy signature was getting closer and faster. He made a snap decision: regardless of who stayed or went, they needed to secure the Dragon Ball first!

"Gohan, Piccolo—you go ahead," Raditz yelled as he rushed toward the elder and took the Dragon Ball. "I'll keep this safe, sorry!" Just as he was about to speed away, two figures suddenly dropped in front of him.

Piccolo and Gohan...

A chilling voice descended from above as a short, terrifying figure blocked Raditz's path.

"Saiyans... I've finally found you!"
