Irregular In DxD

Chapter 34: 34. Mommy dragon

Because she was no mere dragon, she was someone who was born from the remnants of the Primordial goddess Tiamat.

Space was a very difficult element to master but it was as easy as breathing for her .....well maybe that was a stretch but it was quite simple for her to use the element of space making her a formidable adversary.

But none knew of her affinity to Karma and Destiny, she could use cause and effect to increase the probability of something favourable happening. But it's both complicated and dangerous as it consumes a bit of her Karma thus she refrained from using this power.

She was capable of sensing destiny to a certain extent. Still, Tiamat never put too much faith into it as destiny is malleable and can change due to the slightest ripple caused by any insignificant being's actions.

Recently she felt a bit confused as she felt her destiny was a bit illusionary, the same with Venelana and the others.

At first, she was confused but after contemplating about it for a while, she understood a common thing between all of them and that was their relationship with Vivian.

She felt proud that her son was so powerful that he could influence the destiny of others around him without doing anything.

Tiamat was also able to observe luck and fortune to a certain extent, she couldn't do anything about it as luck was an intangible thing and messing with it would be dangerous.

But she noticed that Vivian was almost shining due to the luck surrounding him, and even her and the other's luck seemed to be increasing slightly day by day.

It seems her baby was her little charm. Tiamat couldn't help but hug Vivian causing him to giggle as she rubbed her face against his.

Tiamat was sure that her little darling would become stronger than the heavenly dragons and she would make sure to protect his safety until he grows up.

She won't let anyone harm her son, she still feels a lot of rage and pain when she thinks of what happened due to a careless mistake.

They always made sure that no one would harm Vivian but they really didn't expect a low-class Excorcist to sneak attack him in school.

What made it worse was that it was partly their fault as they never expected that exorcist to plot against their son since he knew how strong they were and his daughter's safety should also be considered by him.

And from what Venelana told her he wasn't a crazy church maniac but more like a normal believer, but she never expected his subordinate to be the one to try and assassinate her child.

She considered herself fortunate Vivian was special otherwise she might have just wiped Kuoh off the map because her reverse scale was touched.

But still, she was pissed and unlike Venelana who was much more level-headed she still wanted to make somebody pay, thus she stormed the Vatican.

If she had her old strength then she would have had some difficulties when the angels showed up but after training with Venelana she had drastic progress and she was still not the old her.

Only Michael was the one able to stop her rampage and that too came at a cost because a being who could even make a heavenly dragon fearful wasn't something you could take lightly.

In the end, she burned a lot of structure and destroyed the Inquisition, but she was merciful enough to not take any lives other than the ones who foolishly jumped up and down in front of her even after seeing she had no interest in their pathetic lives.

She felt fanatics were a bunch of idiots as the Biblical god already died along with the four Satans and they were committing a lot of atrocities in the name of a righteous purpose.

She was a Dragon, and the dragons disdained to trample or deal with the weak using high-sounding reasons. If they want to deal with something then they would just deal with it.

So in her eyes, these fanatics were lower than worms, blaming their evil actions on the devils when it's their own fault that they are doing these things.

So in the end other than 'property destruction' and some 'accidental' deaths nothing major happened to the Inquisition.

Still, heaven had to compensate her as it was only natural because her son was the one who was harmed. Although still angry Tiamat was quite satisfied with heaven's compensation as getting Gram and Ascalon made her day.

Since she was satisfied with smashing up the Inquisition this compensation was enough. Now she could gift these to her baby when he grows up a bit more...

.....

Michael had a tired look on his face as he was going through the system left behind by his father.

His father was the only one who was able to fully make use of the system but Michael was able to partially use it thus Heaven wasn't in complete chaos.

The reason for his current predicament wasn't the issue with Tiamat as that issue didn't have quite as much significance as his current problem.

Michael didn't know if it was just a mistake on the part of the system and his senses because he felt a pure holy energy that was very similar to his father and one energy that he was very familiar with.

He could never mistake that presence as it was the presence of his brother Lucifer .... No ... Helel.....
