The sea's landscape had changed because of a single pirate crew.

On the Moby Dick, Whitebeard gazed at the sky, marveling.

The White Demon Pirates had truly accomplished it. Kaido, his old comrade, was well aware of his own strength.

The two had not only been old comrades but had once served together on the same pirate crew in the distant past.

The White Demon Pirates were now akin to the Rocks Pirates of old, posing a threat to the World Government's position.

It wouldn't be long before war would break out in full force.

"That brat is truly terrifying."

Whitebeard was worried about his sons. 

His Gura Gura no Mi power was formidable, but from the battle between Ryujiro and Kaido, it was clear that Ryujiro's power was in a different dimension.

Especially after Ryujiro entered that mysterious state, his presence and demeanor seemed almost god-like.

Whitebeard didn't believe in gods; if there were any, the sea wouldn't be in such chaos.

What would become of the New World's situation was uncertain, even to those like him.

On a certain island, Mihawk and Shanks were gathered, reading the newspaper headlines. Shanks' face showed a hint of seriousness.

"We can't let White Demon run rampant like this. If he crosses the World Government's line, they will use their full power to eradicate all pirates."

Shanks understood this well, having had dealings with the World Government.

Mihawk sipped his red wine and said calmly, "There's no need for you to worry. I have a feeling the world is about to change soon."

"Oh? You think the White Demon Pirates will change the world?"

Shanks looked at Mihawk in surprise. It was unusual for Mihawk to speak on behalf of others.

"It's just a gut feeling. You've fought Kaido too, so you should know how monstrous Ryujiro's power is. 

Even Kaido couldn't withstand a single strike from him. His power is on a different level."

Mihawk recalled his own fight with Ryujiro. Ryujiro's swordsmanship was from another dimension, something Mihawk had never encountered before.

Despite reaching the pinnacle of swordsmanship, breaking through that dimension seemed almost impossible.

For that reason, Mihawk had been searching for ways to hone his swordsmanship.

"Ah."

"That's certainly intriguing."

Shanks sighed.

Aside from the White Demon Pirates' upheaval, the Navy had another major task: the execution of Whitebeard's Second Division Commander, Fire Fist Ace.

Was the Navy attempting to regain its lost prestige?

They wanted to prove their strength to the world once again. Fire Fist Ace had been defeated by Blackbeard and handed over to the Navy in exchange for a Warlord position.

Thinking of Blackbeard, Shanks felt a twinge of pain from his scar.

That guy was also a dangerous character.

On Whole Cake Island, Big Mom, the leader of the Big Mom Pirates, pondered.

"Kaido was killed by that White Demon brat? Was he too careless?"

Big Mom and Kaido had a relatively good relationship, but it was merely decent. Both were Yonko and had their disagreements.

"Oven."

A man with a flame-like hairstyle and a muscular build like a boxer knelt before Big Mom.

"Mama."

Charlotte Oven, the fourth son of the Charlotte family, a user of the Heat Heat Fruit.

"Oven, take some people and invite members of the White Demon Pirates to Whole Cake Island. Tell White Demon that I wish to arrange a marriage with him."

"Huh?"

Oven was taken aback.

"Mama, White Demon already has a wife—the White-Eyed Sorceress."

"Won't that offend the White-Eyed Sorceress?"

Big Mom's gaze darkened as she looked at Oven. "Who said I want to marry White Demon?"

"The White Demon Pirates have other men as well. 

As long as we arrange a marriage with one of them, the Big Mom Pirates and the White Demon Pirates will become allies. Then we will control the New World."

"This task is yours. Make sure to handle it well."

"If you don't, you know the consequences."

Big Mom's cold voice sent a shiver down Oven's spine.

"Yes, Mama. I will handle it properly."

At that moment, Charlotte Oven felt a sense of dread. Going to the White Demon Pirates alone was a daunting task. Those guys were all monsters, and their style was as crazy as it got.

They didn't care about the consequences, and Oven felt like he was already halfway to hell.

After defeating Kaido, Ryujiro and his crew did not occupy Kaido's territory. Even pirates who came to seek refuge were destroyed by Ryujiro and his crew's cold indifference.

These people never understood; if Ryujiro's crew were truly pirates, they would have had a pirate flag from the beginning.

In fact, they were never pirates at all.
