Naruto: Uchiha's Bizarre Adventure

Chapter 94: Chapter 93 Surpassed Jiraiya

Inside Kadoya's yard, the clash of steel shattered the silence.

Sparks exploded through the air as blades met, again and again.

Kadoya and Nobunaga moved in perfect rhythm, sparring with a ferocity that blurred the line between training and battle. The metallic ring of each strike echoed through the compound, a melody of violence that suited them both.

Nobu spun on her feet, her long hair fanning out behind her like a battle flag. She ducked beneath Kadoya's strike by a breath, pivoted, and brought her sword back around in a sharp arc. Kadoya twisted his grip mid-swing, catching her blade with his own at just the right angle.

They both grinned, fighting each other.

Still, it would look more dignified if either of them had bothered to put on some clothes.

Nobu was still stark naked, save for the dramatic red cape fluttering behind her, which seemed to be held up more by ego than anything else.

Kadoya, on the other hand, had swapped to one of his persona attire, bare-chested, wearing only dark pants for freer movement.

Instead of overpowering her by using his chakra or his other ability, Kadoya decides that he will only match her in strength.

Nobu matched his approach, relying only on the raw power and martial experience she possessed as both warlord and Servant.

Their swords clashed again, both of them pressing forward in a flurry of quick strikes, testing each other's limits. Then, as if by silent agreement, they broke apart, leaping back in opposite directions.

Crimson dripped from their bodies.

The cuts on Kadoya's body were quickly healed thanks to his [Tailed Beast Chakra], while Nobu, being part servant and human now, could use the mana reserves she was summoned with to heal her wound.

Kadoya gave her a pointed glance. "You do realize mana's not exactly renewable around here, right?"

Nobu wiped a smear of blood from her cheek with the back of her hand and smirked. "Why should I care? It's not like I'll evaporate without it."

She smiled, then licked the blood on her blade, tasting Kadoya's blood. "Besides, you can summon me in a world without magic, I'm sure you have your way."

Now this is a proper servant! Unlike some useless Saber that left her master for another woman.

When Kadoya moved to his current place, he tried inviting Erza to come and live with him, but she refused, saying she didn't want to leave Kushina all alone.

Which made Kadoya question whether Erza was his servant or Kushina's.

Kadoya glanced at Nobu, who now stood proudly amidst the moonlight, sword in hand, cape billowing like she was about to start a revolution.

He chuckled, which slowly turned into a grin. Then into full-blown laughter, wild, unrestrained, maniacal.

Matching his energy, Nobu laughed like a demon king returned from hell, laughing like a woman who once set a country ablaze just because she could.

They laughed together in the yard, like two ancient monsters reunited under a pale moon.

Nearby Kadoya's resident, the Uchiha nearby suddenly freezes, hearing faint laughter echoing from behind his wall.

Their instinct flares up, and the Uchiha guards quickly run off to patrol in another part, not risking it.

If the Clan Head suddenly walks out, still laughing, who knows what he would do to them?

Sure, they won't be killed, but who would want to return to the hospital bed?

A few years back, when Kadoya kept sending his Clan member to rest in the hospital, he, along with Tsunade and Orochimaru, worked together to help develop the Uchiha Hospital inside the Uchiha Compound.

His two senseis just need to teach and pass down their experience in medical work, then they would get paid according to what they taught; the more useful knowledge they passed down, the more they get paid.

With the two of them both in need of a large amount of money, one is for their personal research, while the other is for gambling debt, they both didn't hesitate when it came to earning some big cash.

This led to many Uchiha who aren't that good in combat to have another field to work with, becoming medical nin.

The Uchiha Hospital also has insurance for those who recently danced with the Clan Head.

Like, did your 43 broken bones cause by dancing with the Clan Head? Yes? That would be a 25% discount on your medical expenses.

This will not only save them some money but also make it less awkward when you just get discharged from Konoha Hospital, then the next day, the same nurse who just smiled and said goodbye to you yesterday sees you lying back on the same hospital bed.

Both Kadoya and Nobunaga eventually slowed their laughter, their chests rising and falling with each breath. Their eyes met, madness mirroring madness, grins still wide across their bloodstained faces.

"How about we kick this up a notch, Retainer?" Nobu purred, her smirk widening with the thrill of escalation. Without another word, she raised her hand.

Behind her, the air rippled, a miniature arsenal of matchlock rifles materializing midair, each weapon gleaming under the moonlight. Every barrel shifted and locked onto Kadoya with mechanical precision.

Kadoya cracked his neck. "Oh? You won't mind getting a little wet for me, will you?" he replied smoothly, weaving a series of hand signs without hesitation.

"Fire!"

Nobu snapped her fingers.

The night exploded.

Gunfire tore through the air in a concentrated volley, a storm of bullets crashing toward Kadoya in a blazing wall of death.

"Water Style: Water Wall!"

A tidal surge erupted before Kadoya's mouth. Water coiled upward and surged outward, slamming into the incoming barrage. Bullets vanished into the roaring wave with violent sizzles, swallowed whole by the sheer force of the jutsu.

Nobu, refusing to let the momentum die, stepped onto one of her floating matchlocks. Using her mana to command it, she launched herself into the air, hovering above the raging currents with the grace of a demon lord.

From above, she looked down with a smirk of pure mischief and adrenaline.

"So this is the power of this world… fascinating."

Even more matchlocks bloomed into existence behind her, forming a circular formation like the petals of a deadly flower.

"Scatter!"

The sky above Kadoya's yard lit up with red sparks and flashes of raw energy, a curtain of bullets descended like a meteor shower, each shot infused with magic energy and powder.

Kadoya grinned, clapping his palms together.

"Water Style: Water Shuriken!"

A wide spinning disk of condensed water formed in his hand. He hurled it at Nobu with frightening force, the chakra-laced edge slicing through the air like a buzzsaw, while he avoided and cut down the bullets using his water blade.

Nobu twisted mid-air to avoid the attack, letting the shuriken miss her by inches, but her eyes narrowed the moment she sensed something unnatural.

Kadoya tugged on the chakra wire attached to the projectile.

The water shuriken curved in mid-flight like a boomerang, arcing toward Nobu's blind spot.

"Cheeky," she muttered.

With perfect timing, she backflipped high into the air, narrowly avoiding the returning shuriken. It sliced through several matchlocks in its path, dispersing them in a spray of sparks and steel.

She landed gracefully on the wet ground, her feet cushioned by residual mana. With a playful, satisfied smile, she looked up at Kadoya, just as the returning water shuriken slammed into the dirt beside him.

They stood in silence for a beat, both catching their breath.

Then, Kadoya stepped forward with a theatrical bow, his left hand resting over his chest, his right arm elegantly stretched outward.

"Shall we dance?"

Nobunaga's eyes sparkled with joy.

"Tch… it can't be helped! Let's dance!"

And so they did.

Under the pale glow of the moon, the two clashed once more. Kadoya surged forward with Uchiha taijutsu, elegant, sharp, and unrelenting. Nobunaga was pushed back at first, the tempo clearly his.

But she wasn't one to be overwhelmed for long.

As a master of war and combined with her flexible way of thinking, Nobu adapted quickly. With every block, every dodge, every swift jab, her movements grew smoother. She danced, improvised, twisted tradition with creativity. Taijutsu wasn't her strong point, but it was becoming a new thrill.

When their fists weren't enough, their blades returned, and sparks once more lit the night.

As Kadoya began to overpower Nobu, they both could sense that her magic energy was running low, which led to them both stopping their clash.

With Nobu now drained of almost all of her magic energy, there is no point in continuing this.

Kadoya raised a brow, then casually clapped his hands together, forming a single seal. The entire training yard shimmered as sealing runes lit up in all directions.

In the blink of an eye, the terrain reset. The once destroyed training ground returns to before their clash.

Only moonlight and the whisper of wind remained.

He turned to her, amused. "Wanna come inside for some tea?"

Nobu looked down at herself, soaked from the Water Jutsu, streaked in blood and sweat, and still very much naked save for the cape clinging damply to her back.

She exhaled slowly, brushing her hair out of her face. "Maybe a bath first…"

Then she flashed a grin.

"Do you have snacks to go with the tea?"

...

After their intense clash, the two now sat side by side in quiet relaxation, soaking in the steaming water of the indoor hot spring within Kadoya's estate.

Though it was technically a large, tiled pool, Kadoya had long modified it, a seamless blend of Water and Fire Chakra seals turning the pool into a comfortable geothermal spring.

The water bubbled gently around them, soothing and calm, with a subtle shimmer of chakra circulating just beneath the surface.

The Clan really wastes no expense to keep the Clan Head entertained, so he won't go around looking for Uchiha to dance with.

"So... fifteen? Maybe sixteen?" Nobu asked, leaning back, arms spread across the rim of the spring. Steam curled lazily in the air. "And already head of an entire clan. Tch. That's either impressive or just plain desperate."

Kadoya let out a soft chuckle. "Actually, I took the position when I was around nine. Maybe ten."

He did not bother to hide much from her.

Unlike that useless Saber, Kadoya felt that he and Archer actually fit each other.

She turned slightly, giving him an amused side glance. "Now that's ridiculous. What kind of situation does a clan have to be in for a ten-year-old to take charge?"

"One where power outpaces intelligence," Kadoya replied dryly. "The Uchiha have strength, but their judgment? Let's just say… it's a bit of a work-in-progress."

Nobu burst into laughter, the sound echoing lightly against the walls. "No kidding! So what makes you different, huh? You don't look that different from them."

Kadoya tilted his head. "I know when to keep my strength quiet. The average Uchiha unlocks their Sharingan and announces it like they just won the war. Within twenty-four hours, the whole clan knows."

It was painfully true. The Uchiha wore their power like a badge of honor, broadcasting achievements, elevating pride, but also drawing attention and jealousy.

Still, their flaws weren't without heart.

A bunch of tsundere, they'll call you weak, insult you, act cold, but when you're in danger. They'll step in front of a blade for you without hesitation.

That's just how the Uchiha are, a clan run by emotions; they just don't know how to express those emotions in a proper way.

One could say that the Uchiha are a clan with the biggest love.

The more one loves something or someone, the more powerful and darker they become; once they lose that love.

Kadoya knows this, which is why he highlighted the section "To love your home and family" in the Uchiha Academy.

If people love and cherish their home, they would do everything in their power to protect their home and family. And to reinforce that love even more, Kadoya invested in many quality of life improvements within the clan.

Giving them a better living environment, conditions, housing, education, medication, etc...

With improvements like these, the only Uchiha who would be dumb enough to betray the clan is the one with no brain.

"Huh, so in this world, the last name comes after the first name. Odd. But not too big of a deal." She shrugged as if it didn't matter, then leaned back again and continued happily chatting with her master.

The two of them remained there for a while longer, soaking in the warm water and chatting aimlessly about nothing in particular and everything in between.

Eventually, the bath ended.

Kadoya stepped out first, grabbing a towel to dry off the excess water and heading toward his bedroom.

"You want a yukata or just a big T-shirt?" he asked, pulling open the closet.

"Yukata," Nobu replied casually, walking naked through the house with the same ease as someone strolling through their own war camp.

Neither of them batted an eye.

They both have seen everything, so there is really nothing to hide.

If Jiraiya found out about this, he might cry tears of blood and shout about how this world is unfair.

He, the teacher, spends his days peeping on women taking baths in public baths, while his student, Kadoya, gets to bathe with one he has just met.

He really had surpassed Jiraiya.

...

"Umm… sweet tea?" Nobunaga muttered as she sipped from the porcelain cup, blinking once. "Not what I expected, but this is good too."

She sat cross-legged on the floor beside Kadoya, now dressed in a dark blue yukata. After a pause, she picked up a rice cracker from the tray and took a small bite, the crunch echoing faintly in the quiet room.

"I prefer sweet tea," Kadoya replied with a small shrug, sipping from his own cup. "Bitter ones leave a weird aftertaste."

Nobu glanced at him sideways, narrowing her crimson eyes. "Drinking too much sugar isn't good for your health, you know." Despite the warning, she continued sipping, not exactly resisting the taste.

"Still…" she continued, rolling her shoulder and flexing her slender white arm, inspecting it with curiosity. "The fact that you managed to summon me as a demi-servant is impressive in its own right."

That casual statement confirmed what Kadoya had already suspected.

The summon has a physical body which seems to match his age, upon summoning. The only downside to this is that both his servants came from worlds where magic is the main power system, not chakra. This also caused both of them to have no chakra, just their equipment and memories.

Fortunately, with the LifeTree System and the fruits provided by the tree, Kadoya just gave Nobu the chakra fruit and Fire chakra fruit so she could access and use chakra.

"Those fruits taste like you." She said offhandedly, feeling the flow of chakra forming inside her.

"Taste like me?" He question.

She set her cup down and looked at him with a faint grin. "Yeah. I've tasted your blood. Same flavor."

Kadoya stared blankly at her for a moment.

That… was an oddly specific piece of information.

He decided not to question the logic further. "Neat."

The room fell into a calm silence again as the two enjoyed the tea and snacks under the dim glow of paper lanterns. Outside, the moonlight spilled over the yard, and the faint rustling of leaves painted the night with a serene tone.

Eventually, Kadoya stood up and stretched his arms over his head.

"Well, there's only one bed in this house," he said casually, yawning. "You can sleep on it if you want."

Nobu didn't even blink.

"We'll share." She replied without hesitation. "It's big enough, anyway."

Kadoya paused for a moment, processing the blunt answer.

...Yep. Jiraiya would die from envy if he saw this.

That pervert is still spending his time peeping into public baths to gather material, while Kadoya was out here casually summoning a legendary warlord who sleeps next to him without batting an eye.
