One Piece: Reborn in Ohara

Chapter 9: 9. The Gift Of Dr. Clover!

"Want to go to sea with me?"

Rob looked at Robin.

With a serious expression, Rob sought her opinion.

Ohara is where Robin grew up. She is in the process of learning and making friends with other scholars. Although Rob has a strong desire to take Robin away, he can't just ignore her thoughts and take her forcibly.

Of course, even if Robin doesn't leave, Rob will.

After Ohara is destroyed, he will find Robin again and let her grow up under his protection.

Right now, he can't afford to mess with the huge World Government! Acting recklessly would be foolish, and Rob is not a fool.

He has the guts and courage to face any enemy, but that doesn't mean he can match any enemy at this moment.

Rob isn't weak, but he isn't that powerful yet!

There was a long silence.

Robin looked up at Rob and asked, "Is it possible? If I go out to sea with Oni-chan, won't I become a burden? I... am very weak! And can I really see my mother? The sea is so big, is it really that easy to find her?"

Rob nodded, his eyes serious.

"It's definitely possible! The sea is big, but it's also very small! We will find your mother somewhere out there! And, Oni-chan never thinks Robin is weak!"

"How could a brother dislike his cute sister?"

As he spoke, Rob reached out and rubbed Robin's little head.

"Want to go to sea with me?"

Robin's eyes welled up with tears as she looked at Rob and nodded vigorously.

"Okay! I'll go to sea with Oni-chan!"

Nodding in satisfaction, Rob finally breathed a sigh of relief seeing Robin agree.

He had told a lie. Robin's mother might be in the midst of the World Government's agents and Marine's pursuit. Whether they will find her is unknown, but to take Robin away, he had to tell this lie.

Most likely, he will miss the appointment. But since he promised Robin to take her to meet her mother, Robin would naturally try to work hard and be happy if they found her. If not, she could eventually forget about it.

Robin chose to leave Ohara with Rob.

Rob's long-awaited plan to go to sea officially began.

Three days later, while preparing the ship and nautical supplies, Rob spent almost all of the 7 million berries saved over the past year. He and Robin then went to Dr. Clover's home, the director of the Ohara Library and Robin's teacher.

They stood in front of Dr. Clover with his distinctive hairstyle and beard.

Robin looked respectful.

"Mr. Clover, thank you for the past two years."

At the same time, Rob bowed and saluted.

"Dr. Clover, Robin appreciates your guidance."

Dr. Clover looked at the two children, both only eight years old. Robin, as his best archeology student and the daughter of Nico Olvia, naturally held a special place in his heart. As for Rob, Dr. Clover had also been in contact with him over the past two years. Although Rob had the image of a child, he never acted like one.

Rob was mature, quite planned, and autonomous. And Rob was strong. Dr. Clover knew about Rob's previous battle with the giant bear, the king of the forest, and how he hunted Sea Kings and sea beasts to sell their meat in town. This was enough to show Rob's power.

Now, Rob was ready to go to sea, and Robin seemed to be leaving with him. Even though Dr. Clover didn't approve of the two going to sea at such a young age, he knew that with Rob's character, it was impossible to persuade him otherwise. And in Robin's heart, Rob already had an irreplaceable position. So, after thinking about it, Dr. Clover knew he could only wish the two children smooth sailing.

"The sea is indeed vast, full of dreams and wonders!" Dr. Clover said seriously. "But the sea is also moody and dangerous! If you two want to go out to sea, you must be careful and pay attention to safety!"

While speaking, Dr. Clover took out a special white paper from his pocket that was shaking and solemnly handed it to Robin.

"Robin, take this piece of paper. It will guide you and your mother to meet somewhere in the sea."

Rob's eyes flashed, understanding what this piece of paper was. It was likely the Vivre card left by Robin's mother, Olvia. In the Tree of Knowledge library, there were various books from all over the world that recorded the production method of the Vivre card. For scholars, mastering this should be normal.

Robin accepted the Vivre card, thanking Dr. Clover.

"Thank you, teacher!"

Dr. Clover reached out and rubbed Robin's head, smiling.

"When you see your mother, say hi to her for me!"

He then turned to Rob. After hesitating for a while, Dr. Clover took out a small notebook and handed it to Rob.
