Chapter 15: Summoning an Orbital Cannon? That’s Too Elegant!
Inside the Space Station
Across the station, various departments paused their work, shifting their focus to a certain mysterious new game.
Before long, someone discovered Little Gui’s livestream on Xianzhou’s streaming platform.
Those who couldn’t play at the moment or were on the fence about trying the game flocked to the stream.
In fact, the largest display screen in the space station was switched to Little Gui’s channel, drawing a growing crowd of curious onlookers.
People pointed at the screen, commenting excitedly—
“So this is Honkai: Star Rail?”
“According to reliable sources, the game’s story is completely based on real events! Look at the streamer’s team—those are all familiar faces!”
“Wait… is that our Station Master, Asta?! Am I seeing this right?”
“And every character’s ultimate move looks insanely cool!”
As the crowd grew, more and more people, intrigued by the hype, pulled out their devices and began downloading the game.
On the Livestream
Little Gui’s cheeks flushed with excitement.
“Alright, everyone! Next up, we’re testing out Miss Himeko’s skills!”
“I wonder what kind of ultimate move our Navigator has?”
She selected the trial version of Himeko, first zooming the camera in as close as possible, capturing even the finest details—
A pristine white dress, golden rose accessories…
Even the small beauty mark on her right collarbone was clearly visible.
The livestream chat reacted instantly—
— “The streamer knows what she’s doing!”
— “Can we get another angle?”
— “If she changes the angle too much, she’s getting banned lol.”
Combat Begins
Controlling Himeko, Little Gui ran forward, soon encountering a Voidranger.
She tapped the attack button.
Himeko’s suitcase floated into the air, and in an instant, a chainsaw blade extended from one end—slashing directly into the enemy.
As the battle officially started, her weapon became even more apparent—
Every basic attack and skill involved different weapons emerging from the suitcase, slicing through foes with precision.
When her passive ability triggered, additional fiery explosions erupted.
The unorthodox yet brutal fighting style stunned many of the space station’s staff.
“Forget the monsters—just watching this makes me feel pain!”
“Miss Himeko may look elegant, but she fights viciously!”
“Of course! How else do you think she became the Express’ navigator?”
“Does her ultimate involve throwing the suitcase and blowing everything up? I heard she keeps a satellite in there!”
“Can’t wait to see it!”
The Ultimate Move – Fire Down From the Heavens
Little Gui quickly built up enough energy for Himeko’s ultimate.
Facing three enemies, she pressed the activation button.
“It’s happening, everyone!”
Himeko: “I suppose… you still don’t understand.”
Little Gui froze.
“Wait… why did the suitcase just turn into a chair?!”
“And when did Miss Himeko make that coffee in her hand?!”
“HELLO?! We’re in the middle of a battle!”
Most characters struck dramatic battle poses before activating their ultimates.
But Himeko?
She sat down, crossed her legs casually, and sipped coffee—completely unbothered.
The audience was both confused and intrigued.
What was about to happen?
Little Gui tapped “release”.
Himeko crossed one leg over the other, tilting her head to gaze at the sky.
A red signal flare shot upward, spiraling through layers of clouds before reaching deep space.
“Humanity has never hidden its desire to control the stars…”
The flare signal reached a satellite, which immediately activated its weapon systems.
A massive orbital cannon locked onto the battlefield’s coordinates—
And fired.
A blinding beam of destruction descended, obliterating the battlefield in a fiery inferno.
“And that includes me.”
Throughout the devastation, Himeko remained seated, taking a calm sip of coffee.
The towering flames illuminated her figure, sending ripples through her red hair.
Yet—she didn’t even turn her head to look at the aftermath.
Complete Silence – Then Chaos
As the ultimate animation ended, Little Gui froze, the space station staff watching in stunned silence.
For a few seconds—no one spoke.
Then—
The entire room erupted.
“EVERYONE, STAND UP!”
“WHAT DID WE JUST WITNESS?!”
“Orbital cannon?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!”
“This is beyond badass!”
“If someone actually fired that in the space station, wouldn’t it obliterate an entire module?!”
“INSANE! This game’s effects are on another level! Who would’ve thought Himeko’s ultimate would be summoning a satellite to bombard the battlefield?!”
Asta’s Reaction
Not far away, Asta had also been watching the stream on a nearby projection screen.
Unlike the others, she wasn’t rendered speechless.
But—
Her eyes sparkled like a galaxy full of stars.
“Miss Himeko is too elegant!”
“Especially that line… ‘Humanity has never hidden its desire to control the stars…’ Aaaaah! That hits right in my heart!”
If no one else had been around, Asta would have been rolling on the floor, hugging her phone as she screamed in excitement.
She had made up her mind.
No matter what—
She had to get Himeko in this game!
