Chapter 15 - Absolute's Streaming – Episode 15
Absolute’s Streaming – Episode 15
Just like before, for Minseong’s third-day broadcast, Seonghun handled all the setup.
They had already talked about it and agreed yesterday—Seonghun would take care of everything related to the stream.
It was Seonghun who suggested it first.
Minseong had no reason to refuse. It wasn’t a bad deal.
At least when it came to streaming, Seonghun knew his stuff… well, kinda.
That’s how Minseong saw it.
After setting up the stream and linking it with Blasa, Seonghun stepped back, and Minseong logged into the game right away.
[Your designated starting point is Haas Village.]
The message popped up, and just like that, Minseong was standing at the entrance of Haas Village, the same place where he last logged out.
The village was still bustling with people.
“Hey, everyone!”
Minseong greeted his viewers.
– Yo, welcome back!
– Hey, hey!
– Damn, you went live exactly at 8 PM.
I’ve been waiting for you, bro!
– Show us your stats!
– Did you really kill 20 White Nights?
– Proof, or it didn’t happen!
The chat was flooded with people demanding proof.
Minseong did as they asked and shared his status window.
Then, he noticed a specific viewer.
One username was glowing red, standing out from the rest.
“Hey, Newbie Detector! Good to see you again. You’re here today, too, huh?”
Newbie Detector.
This guy had been the biggest donor since Minseong started streaming.
On both the first and second days, he had dropped 1 million won each in donation challenges.
That’s why his name was in red—he was officially one of Minseong’s top supporters.
Only the top 20 biggest donors got their names highlighted like that.
Before the stream, Seonghun had given Minseong a piece of advice.
“Top supporters need to be treated with extra care.”
And right now, Minseong was following that advice to the letter.
With a slight smirk, he said:
“If you’re gonna set a challenge today, too, make sure it’s actually hard this time. Not like last time—those were too easy.”
Newbie Detector donated immediately.
[‘Newbie Detector’ has donated 1,000 won.]
– Wait, so the donation amount increased? And hold on… you’re saying those challenges were EASY? Killing 20 White Nights and 20 Corrupted White Nights?
Yesterday, the highest number of viewers on Minseong’s stream had gone over 10,000.
So, he raised the minimum donation amount from 100 won to 1,000 won.
Technically, he should’ve increased it even more, but since it was only his third-day streaming, he decided to keep it at this level for now.
He still had to secure a stable viewer base first.
Minseong simply shrugged in response.
And everyone in the chat understood—he was basically saying, “Yeah, it was easy.”
– Nah, this guy’s built differently. The way he handled those White Nights was insane.
– True, the dude’s got insane reflexes.
– But LOL, Newbie Detector being a top supporter is hilarious. That dude only bets on safe challenges.
– LMAO, I can’t believe my eyes.
– BREAKING NEWS: Newbie Detector has lost 2 million won in just two days!
[‘Newbie Detector’ has donated 1,000 won.]
– I swear, I never thought I’d lose 2 million won to some newbie streamer… I’ve been eating instant ramen for two days now…
– LMAO
– Bro, at 2 million, even ramen is a luxury.
– Man’s gotta eat somehow.
While the chat was going wild over Newbie Detector’s misery, Minseong casually closed his status window.
“All right then…”
He cracked his knuckles.
“Let’s get started.”
And with that, he began moving.
Now, it was time to really start enjoying Blasa.
“First up… Elcid, right? That guy? I heard he’s working at the blacksmith’s shop. That sounds about right?”
Last time, when he got the chain quest from Karen, he’d seen chat talking about Elcid.
– Yeah, that’s right.
– Just go a bit further into the central plaza, and you’ll find the blacksmith’s shop.
– The owner’s a big bearded dude named Palad.
– Let’s go!
Finding the central plaza wasn’t hard.
All he had to do was follow the trail of fresh newbies who had just finished the tutorial.
Though, honestly, calling it a plaza felt kinda off.
A plaza was supposed to be a big, open space. Using that term inside a village felt weird.
But looking around, yeah… it was huge.
“Is that the Record Stone?”
At the very center of the plaza stood a massive, rectangular stone, looking almost like a giant screen.
– Yep.
– If you get closer, you’ll see text on it.
He didn’t even need to move closer.
From here, he could already see the writing.
At the bottom of the Record Stone, a message was engraved:
[User ‘Absolute One’ has achieved a legendary feat: eliminating all 20 White Nights during the tutorial.]
It was the exact same message from the system-wide announcement the other day.
The plaza wasn’t just big—it was LOUD.
“Looking for Level 3 party members!”
“Recruiting for Land of Corruption, need Level 6 players!”
“Level 8 party, one spot left! Whisper me!”
It took Minseong a moment to process what was happening.
– Damn, this brings back memories. I used to shout in this plaza all the time, looking for a party.
– Same, LOL, good times.
– Acting like you don’t still do it, lmao.
– Even at high levels, people still recruit here. What nostalgia? LOL.
So that’s what was going on.
People were gathering here to find party members for hunting.
In Blasa, party-based combat was the standard.
Each party had up to five players, and fighting together was more efficient because of the way monsters grouped up.
Plus, higher-level monsters gave more experience, so people partied up to farm EXP faster.
Though, parties weren’t mandatory.
Some dungeons required a minimum number of players, but outside of those, you could totally go solo if you wanted.
Minseong thought about it for a second.
“Huh. So basically, if I party up, I gotta split EXP, gold, and loot, right?”
– Yeah.
– Of course, that’s how it works.
“Yeah, nah. I’ll go solo.”
The game encouraged partying, but it wasn’t forced.
And considering how pay-to-win players with top-tier gear mostly played solo…
‘Should be fine.’
Ignoring the crowd, Minseong made his way to the blacksmith’s shop.
Just like Chat said, it was easy to find.
The entrance was wide open, and weapons of all kinds lined the walls.
Honestly, it felt more like a weapon shop than a blacksmith’s forge.
Inside, there was a ton of noise, and right in the middle of it all—
“Hurry up and buy something or get lost! You’re getting fingerprints all over my merchandise!”
A huge, bearded man stomped around, yelling at customers.
No doubt about it.
This was Palad, the blacksmith.
‘Damn, the chat wasn’t kidding. That beard’s on another level.’
Minseong approached him.
“I’m looking for someone named Elcid—”
Palad suddenly cut him off.
“Wait a damn minute…!”
He stared at Minseong for a second before his face lit up.
“You’re that guy! The one from the Record Stone! Haha, nice to meet you! Name’s Palad.”
And just like that, he stretched out his hand for a handshake.
‘…So this is how it works.’
Since his name was on the Record Stone, NPCs automatically recognized him.
“I never thought I’d meet a legend like you! Come, follow me!”
And without waiting, Palad started walking ahead.
Minseong, feeling a bit confused but intrigued, followed.
