Chapter 7 - Absolute's Streaming – Episode 7

Absolute’s Streaming, Episode 7

When people hear “tutorial,” they usually think of a beginner-friendly introduction—something that teaches you the basics before you dive into the actual game. A chance to get familiar with the mechanics before things get serious.

But Blood Soul?

Yeah, Blood Soul doesn’t do tutorials like that.

Anyone who’s played the game even once will tell you the same thing.

This isn’t a tutorial in the normal sense. It’s not here to guide you—it’s not even meant to be cleared in the first place.

That’s how brutal it is.

No one’s ever beaten the Blood Soul tutorial.

Not once.

In fact, the record for the most enemies—White Nights—killed in the tutorial?

Just ten out of twenty.

And that was by the best player in the world.

So, naturally, when viewers saw what Minseong was doing, they were completely baffled.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Every time Minseong slammed his sword against a rock, a sharp metallic ring echoed through the air.

The chat was instantly flooded with question marks.

But that confusion didn’t last long.

Soon, the realization hit them like a truck.

In the Silent Zone, making this much noise?

That only meant one thing.

All twenty White Nights were about to come storming toward him at once.

And when the chat figured it out, the comments started rolling in.

– I swear, this guy’s a total noob. No other explanation for this suicidal move.
– LOL, for real tho.
– Secret Quest? LOL, what’s that? Never heard of it.
– Breaking news: Dude just rage-quit the Secret Quest… No, wait—he straight-up declared suicide.
– Okay, but not gonna lie, this is hilarious.

Meanwhile.

Minseong?

He was smiling.

Because, for him, this was the obvious choice.

Why bother sneaking around, taking them down one by one, when he could just lure them all in at once and wipe them out together?

It saved him the hassle.

And besides—

“It’s not like I actually die in this game. I might as well make things interesting.”

This wasn’t the other world where he used to fight.

If he died here, he’d just respawn.

He wasn’t playing to survive—he was playing to push the limits.

“I’m making this as hard as possible on purpose.”

That was his approach to Blood Soul.

Doing things others wouldn’t. No—things they couldn’t even imagine attempting.

Because of that?

That was where the real fun was.

Even his username, Absolute Being, was proof of that mindset.

And the chat was playing along exactly as he wanted.

Everyone had already decided he was doomed.

They thought he’d given up.

But Minseong could already sense the White Nights approaching.

And yet—

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

He was still smashing his sword against the rock.

By now, his weapon was beyond ruined.

The edge was completely gone. The blade was bent beyond recognition.

He’d destroyed his own weapon.

And now, the White Nights were close enough that he could see them clearly.

They were humanoid beasts, their eyes wrapped in white bandages. Their arms were freakishly long—so long their claws dragged against the ground.

And those claws?

Like goddamn knives.

Screeeeeech!

As they advanced, their nails scraped against the stone, making an eerie, grating sound.

“So they use sound to tell friend from foe, huh?”

Minseong figured it out immediately.

They were blind, so they had to rely on their hearing to recognize each other.

Otherwise, they’d end up attacking their own.

Minseong had fought too many monsters and demons to count.

Just by looking at a creature, he could tell how it worked.

“Damn, they actually put effort into the design.”

He murmured to himself as he watched them charge.

CLANG!

The ringing of metal against the stone finally stopped.

Minseong dropped what was left of his sword.

Then, he ran straight at the incoming White Nights.

The chat lost it.

– Bro, I’ve seen some dumb moves in this game, but THIS?
– No weapon, running straight into 20 White Nights… This is a new level of dumb.
– LMAO, he’s never died in-game before, huh? Just wait.
– Yeah, reality’s about to hit him HARD.

Blood Soul was built for realism.

The more synchronized a player was with the game, the more they felt everything.

Pain included.

Most players had their synchronization capped for safety.

But Minseong?

He hadn’t adjusted his settings.

So, as far as the chat was concerned?

He was about to get wrecked.

Then, suddenly—

[User ‘NoobDetector’ has offered a 1,000,000 KRW challenge.]

– Kill even one White Night like this, and you get a million won!

The chat exploded.

– LOL, that’s free money. There’s no way he survives long enough to claim it.
– 20 White Nights vs. One Dumbass? My bet’s on the monsters.
– I’ll add to the pot. This is entertainment.

Minseong saw the notification.

Even while sprinting, he had the time to glance at the challenge and accept it.

– Did he just ACCEPT that?? LMAO WTF?!
– Bruh, that’s the easiest money the donor’s ever made.
– But honestly? His streaming content is peak chaos.

Five meters left.

Screeech!

A White Night lashed out, its claws slicing through the air.

The deadly arc of its strike gleamed in the sunlight.

But Minseong?

He ducked.

Effortlessly.

And in that same instant, he slipped behind the monster, wrapped his arm around its neck, and locked its arms down.

The movements were fluid and instinctive.

As if he’d done it a thousand times before.

The other White Nights screeched in rage.

And Minseong?

He smirked.

“Come get me.”

A White Night lunged.

And just as expected—

SPLAT.

The monster in his grasp got sliced in half by its own ally’s attack.

Blood was sprayed everywhere.

But Minseong didn’t flinch.

More monsters lunged.

And one by one, they slaughtered each other.

He was dodging, weaving, baiting them into cutting each other down.

Screech!

Another one lunged.

He twisted, shifted the corpse in his grip—

SPLAT.

Another kill.

The battlefield?

It belonged to him now.

The chat?

Dead silent.

They were watching.

And then, after a long, brutal fight—

Only Minseong and one last White Night remained.

It charged.

He dodged.

And, with a grin—

He bit into its neck.

Tore out its throat.

The creature thrashed, then went limp.

A heavy silence settled.

Then, finally—

Minseong spat blood onto the ground.

Wiped his mouth.

And, with a casual grin, he turned to the camera.

“Thanks for the donations, everyone.”

The chat?

They lost their goddamn minds.
