Streaming of the Absolute

Chapter 9 - Absolute's Streaming – Episode 9

Absolute’s Streaming – Episode 9

Top-tier BJs (streamers) operate on a whole different level when it comes to donations.

Take Minsung, for example—he didn’t tweak his settings, so even a 100-won donation triggers the alert. But for big-name streamers? That’s not how it works.

They set a minimum donation threshold. You have to donate at least that amount for your message to pop up on-screen—with voice synthesis reading it out loud, too.

For someone like Keria, that threshold is 10,000 won.

So, when he was about halfway through his stream, a donation alert rang in his ears.

[‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ has donated 10,000 won.]

“Oh! Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan is here!”

Keria immediately saluted the donor.

“Today’s daily bread—10,000 won! Thank you so much!”

Then, as part of his signature reaction, he flicked his hand like he was dusting it off.

Veteran streamers like Keria have their own go-to donation reactions. Big-name BJs usually have a few of these, making their gratitude feel natural yet engaging.

Soon enough, the donor’s message echoed through the stream, thanks to the activated voice feature.

– Someone just killed 20 White Nights in the tutorial.

Keria tilted his head.

Normally, he would’ve shut that down immediately—thanking the donor but telling them not to talk nonsense.

And judging by the chat’s reaction, everyone thought it was total BS.

– Stop bullshitting
– What kind of nonsense is this? lol
– Fishing for attention, huh?
– Ban incoming! Let’s gooo~

But Keria didn’t ban or curse at them. He just looked puzzled.

Because he knew this donor well.

Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan had been around for a long time, consistently dropping large donations.

Even their username made it clear—they were a die-hard fan of Ha Ye-eun’s stream. They were one of her big spenders.

‘They’ve never lied or even joked before… What’s going on?’

Feeling a mix of curiosity and strategy (since directly addressing the donor would likely lead to another donation), Keria asked,

“Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan, you’re saying someone killed 20 White Nights in the tutorial?”

As expected, another donation alert soon followed.

[‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ has donated 10,000 won.]

– Yeah, for real.

Keria waved his hand, scrolling through the system-wide announcements.

In Bloodstorm Online, a server-wide notification is sent whenever a new record is set, or an impossible feat is accomplished.

But… there was nothing.

“You sure you’re not mistaken? There’s no announcement.”

[‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ has donated 10,000 won.]

– They haven’t claimed the tutorial rewards yet, so there is no announcement. They’re working on a secret quest right now.

“Secret… quest?”

Keria blinked.

He’d never heard of a secret quest in the tutorial before.

Then came another donation.

[‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ has donated 10,000 won.]

– They beat up Karen right at the start, triggered the secret quest, and then unlocked it by killing 20 White Nights.

At this point, doubt was inevitable.

“You’re not messing with me, are you?”

[‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ has donated 10,000 won.]

– Nope. Didn’t think you’d believe me, so I clipped it. [Video attached]

“I’ll check it out first.”

Keria clicked play.

And as he watched…

“…Huh?”

His eyes widened. His jaw slowly dropped.

Meanwhile, the chat went berserk.

– Wait, this is real??
– SHOW US THE VIDEO
– HOLY
– SHIIIT

Snapping out of his daze, Keria finally played the clip for everyone.

It was exactly as the donor had described.

[‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ has donated 10,000 won.]

– Here’s the clip of them killing 20 White Nights in the tutorial. [Video attached]

[‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ has donated 10,000 won.]

– And this is the unlocking of the secret quest. [Video attached]

Keria played both clips for his viewers.

Many were skeptical, thinking it was fake.

But he wasn’t so sure.

The footage was too clean—too polished to be doctored.

And then, yet another donation.

[‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ has donated 10,000 won.]

– The secret quest continues tomorrow. The BJ’s username is ‘Absolute Being.’ The stream starts at 8 PM.

After that, ‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ vanished from Keria’s chat.

Only to pop up in another big BJ’s stream, dropping the exact same message.

[‘Ha Ye-eun’s Devoted Fan’ has donated 10,000 won.]

– Someone just killed 20 White Nights in the tutorial.

After parting ways with Seonghoon, Minsung headed back to his tiny one-room apartment.

Originally, they’d planned to grab a meal together, but Seonghoon had something urgent come up and left in a hurry.

“Oh well, can’t be helped.”

Minsung ordered food on his delivery app and flopped onto his bed.

As he lay there, he reflected on today’s Bloodstorm Online session.

“…That was seriously fun. And I made good money, too.”

He’d raked in over 1.04 million won in just a couple of hours.

That was insane.

Of course, he knew he couldn’t expect to make that much every day.

Today’s windfall was entirely thanks to the mission bet—people thought he’d fail and put up ridiculous amounts of money.

That’s where the big bucks came from.

‘They thought it was a safe bet. That I’d never succeed.’

Which meant…

He could keep pulling in mission bets.

Minsung planned to keep attempting the impossible—to take on challenges nobody else would dare to try.

That way, the game stayed fun for him.

And the money? That’d keep rolling in.

“Fun and profit? Hell yeah.”

Grinning, he opened YouTube and searched for Bloodstorm Online streams.

Countless results flooded in.

Minsung clicked on the top-ranked stream—a high-viewer count broadcast by a self-proclaimed “ranker.”

Since he was new to streaming, he wanted to study how other BJs did it.

As he watched, he muttered,

“…Damn. They suck.”

It was his second time watching this ranker’s stream, and his impression hadn’t changed.

To him, it just looked like they were playing with their food.

The next evening.

One hour before his stream was set to start, Minsung arrived at Seonghoon’s go-to capsule room.

Seonghoon was already there, waving at him.

“Yo, you’re here?”

“Let’s get the stream setup done first.”

Seonghoon immediately got to work, linking Minsung’s ID card to his YouTube account.

Then, he turned to him.

“Dude… are you sure about this?”

“About what?”

“Not preparing in advance.”

Minsung smirked.

“It’s fine. No need to worry.”

Seonghoon sighed, clearly giving up.

“…Alright, man. If you say so.”

After finishing the setup, Seonghoon showed him the stream title.

[Bloodstorm Online’s FIRST Tutorial Secret Quest—Starting NOW!!]

Minsung glanced at it.

“Yeah, do whatever.”

A few moments later, he booted up the game.

A message popped up.

[You have an ongoing quest.]
[Would you like to continue?]

Minsung smirked.

‘Here we go.’

He shared his screen.

As expected, the viewer count started skyrocketing.

Smirking, Minsung finally greeted his audience.

“Welcome, everyone.”
