Tall Villainesses Are Obsessed

Chapter 3 - If you don't know, you should find out, right?

If you don’t know, you should find out, right?

There’s a crowd. It’s estimated that Rita and Scarlett are trapped here.
Seeing them use posters and advertise so aggressively, I think the scale cannot be ignored.
As I head to the place, I realize how massive the scale is.
At the entrance to the market, many carts were bustling, and inside, many people were entering.
From a quick glance, it’s expected that there’s a swarm of people inside.
I blended into the crowd and entered the market, calmly observing the chaos slowly unfold.
‘What on earth is that smell..?’
A pungent stench filled the air that words couldn’t describe.
If food waste festered in high temperatures for about a month, wouldn’t it smell like this?
It was a suffocating stench.
Despite just holding my breath, my chest felt heavy, and it was hard to breathe.
Just being in this place dampened my spirit.
‘Let’s get out of here quickly.’
This is not a place for people to be.
I went through the crowd, looking for girls with loose hair and tangled curls like Rita and Scarlett, wondering how much time had passed. I was able to find them.
In a cramped compartment, they were hugging their knees and waiting patiently for help.
The faces of Rita and Scarlett, seen up close, looked like people who had lost hope.
The expressionless faces of those women, as if they lack any emotion. Maybe emotions still remain for them.
Only so small that it can’t be seen with the naked eye, from being buried under so many layers.
I called in the staff to make a purchase of those women.
“Here is the red hair and the blue hair. I suppose I’ll buy both.”
The staff, listening to my words, nodded slightly and spoke.
“You have a keen eye. These friends are the children who just arrived yesterday, so their bodies are healthy and have no spots.”
The staff explained to me the physical characteristics of those women.
I caught the staff’s words and spoke.
“No detailed explanation is necessary. How much are these friends priced at?”
As I spoke to the staff, they expressed a slightly confused expression and responded.
“The children who came in yesterday are two gold per head.”
A total of four gold.
Although waving my arms was a significant gesture for me, the shop was already sparsely staffed.
I said as I took out five gold pieces from my pocket.
“Here are two people’s worth of four gold and one gold.”
“What about the one gold?”
The staff looked at me and spoke, and I grasped the staff’s hand and said.
“I want to take these friends with me right now, not tomorrow. If you hand over these friends to me now, I’ll give you one gold.”
My proposal was so sweet to them that they couldn’t refuse.
He also agreed to that, as receiving low monthly wages is often the case for staff working in such places.
The reason for buying people as slaves is because it was against the law of the kingdom.
Therefore, slaves could only be sold and bought at the black market, and in that process, the seller would make immense profits.
Moreover, those clerks at the top might not even receive their salaries, let alone any money at the end of the month.
Most of the people working in such industries are either from backgrounds of failure or criminals themselves.
However, when an employee heard my suggestion, they looked at me with wide eyes, and immediately went somewhere with a document in hand.
The employee brought a paper labeled [Slave Certificate] directly to me.
“Just sign this, sir.”
The employee who handed me the paper. My nickname had suddenly become sir.
I gave that employee 1 gold.
Receiving 1 gold, the employee laughed delightedly as he took the gold, and he returned to the window, tearing up some scalpels.
The women wearing large shawls around their necks.
I looked at them and wrote the certificate. Thus, they became my possessions.
I grabbed the shawls they were wearing and led them out of the store.
Nothing remaining in this place is a lion.
That’s how I took them and stepped outside.
While trying to head home with them, I heard a voice calling me from behind.
“Wait a minute. Look at me briefly.”
Hearing the voice calling me, I turned around and my face inadvertently stiffened as I turned.
‘That bird…’
The man who spoke to me was the same man who originally bought books and scalpels from him.
I was told he had a pale face like a cunning fox and a weasel, but when I saw him in person, his face matched exactly with that metaphor.
“Is that an old person…your uncle?”
The man said, scowling and curling his lip.
“So what?”
When I answered, the man laughed cunningly and continued speaking.
“You’re such a reckless young man… don’t speak to me with that judgmental tone. Don’t you think the old man is blind to me?”
The man said, looking at me with contempt.
I felt like he was teasing Rita and Scarlett, but I just ignored them.
“I don’t care.”
I turned away with firm resolve, but the man tried to stare me down till the end.
“Ten gold. I’ll buy it for ten gold. And since I’m even giving you a pretty present, think about it again.”
The man asked me to reconsider.
I tried to ignore the man’s words and was about to walk away, but a burly man stopped me.
“Look. Listening again, there’s no manners here.”
The man with the cunning smile approached me once more.
“People are animals who think they’re the only ones who do. The difference between a passionate beauty and a human is only because of that time.”
“But didn’t you refuse my offer twice? There’s no sincerity in his courage.”
The man said, pounding his chest with two fists.
The man laughed as he pushed me away and said.
“Well, in cases like now, it’s called a false courage, not a true one.”
“It’s the last warning. Are those two kids going to be left and abandoned? If I leave now, I could escape this place without a trace.”
The man who wore sunglasses had made his final pass.
In fact, he probably had his last chance too.
I looked at the man and said.
“Get ready.”
[Swoosh!]
The man’s face tightened, and he shouted at the two men behind me.
“Stop the crazy bird from shooting!”
“Don’t think you can walk out of this road safely!”
Men with determination walked towards me, along with the direction from sunglasses.
I sighed as I watched them.
Was it a sigh of relief due to their sluggishness? No, it wasn’t.
It was a sigh of exhaustion because I directly felt the lame work.
I looked at the man with sunglasses and said.
“If you just had stayed calm, this wouldn’t have happened..”
“Now, it’s already too late to regret! You’re going to die here today!!”
“Yes, now it’s too late to regret…”
“It’s your words.”
I cast a spell with both hands.
This man will be stopped.
After I came into this world, I was able to somehow build a house and make money.
I chose the profession known as a shaman.
“Ma..magic? Even that without guardians?!”
Doubkabi said with wide eyes.
Originally, each attribute of magic requires a guardian.
Magic that is not protected by a guardian is like a building without a foundation, necessary for using magic.
Therefore, without a guardian, the words themselves were not an arena for magic. It is a guardian that even those with deep shamanistic roots cannot do without.
“I hope there will come a day when this can be used by people.”
I used magic towards men coming for me.
“I guess I don’t wish for you too much. It’s just because your thoughts are shallow.”

The lights around me began to flicker and burn the inner men.
“Uwaaaaa!!!!!!”
The two men who received my magic screamed in pain and writhed.
The entire body seemed to be burning amidst spiritual magical pain.
The body does not suffer any damage, but the target subjected to magic feels severe pain.
“K…keuk…”
The two men who received the magic couldn’t help but collapse where they stood.
“Wh..what is this..!”
Doubkabi murmured to the collapsed men.
“I’ve given so much to you guys!! Doesn’t it work right away?!”
A two-word curse directed at the men.
I quietly looked at those two words.
A two-word curse expressed with a face twisted in anger.
The sight was so funny that I told myself I had to hold back my laughter.
“This…this…!!”
As soon as I burst into laughter, the person glared at me with an angry face and spoke while clenching their fists.
“This time, I’m going to get the revenge I deserve!! Next time we meet, I will kill you in retaliation!!”
Spewing anger at me and turning to walk away.
Holding onto the hem of the person’s clothes, trying to stop them, I asked.
“Where are you running to?”
“Uh..?”
Astonishment was mixed into the face that had just spat harsh words at me furiously.
I thought it would simply pass by.
That turned out to be a very wrong thought.
“You have to pay back the favor of making me angry, where are you going?”
I grabbed the man’s collar tightly, speaking with a voice that only he could hear.
“Welcome to hell.”
As the words settled, I also caught a glimpse of a smirk on that person’s face.
“Just until the moment you beg for mercy.”
***
‘A monster…a monstrous being..!’
I saw a duffel coat.
Towards his golden chain, raising his leg, he was smiling at the devil’s face.
That appearance was almost… it resembled even the devil.
