A Berserker Reborn

Rosine was flying above the clouds. Her face was full of anger and hate as the sunken side of her chest throbbed in pain. The attack from Guts did more damage than she thought.

"Tch! Whys is that human here?"

Rosine muttered as she looked down from the sky. Bellow her was the misty valley. It was currently burning up with a huge fire. The fire caused a huge amount of smoke.

"What! How could that happen?!"

Rosine broke the sound barrier as she dove down towards the misty valley. On the ground inside the valley, Guts was swatting the hundreds of elves like a baseball.

Boom!

With another swing, the tens of elves were turned into a pool of blood. Guts did not hit them directly. Instead, Guts used the flat side of Dragon Slayer to hit the air at full speed.

Boom!

A concentrated shockwave flew towards the ground faster than even sound, it tore it open into a deep trench, the shockwave turning the elves into pieces.

Guts hit the air with the side of his sword faster than sound. This creates a gigantic shockwave that Guts hurls towards his opponents, injuring them with force, and the shockwave damages the internal organs.

He can do that with his fist too, but it is not as effective since the surface area of his fist is much smaller than the flat side of Dragon Slayer.

"These elves are sure weak, but their speed is much faster than a normal human..."

Guts clenched his fist around the handle of Dragon Slayer. The durability and strength he gained from 10 elves is not as much as a soldier. But he gained a large amount of speed.

These elves are half-apostles created by Rosine, so their speed is at least 2 times faster than a trained soldier. Guts killed at least 150 elves, increasing his speed by 3 times compared to before.

"You Bastard! Why can't you leave me alone?!"

Above Guts, a furious Rosine transformed into her apostle form. Jill is not here, so she does not care about hiding herself. The air split as Jill dived down towards Guts. Her speed was High Hypersonic+.

Guts looked up, shocking Rosine at how he managed to react to her speed. She was going all out. Her serrated sword on her head shone as she tried to stab Guts with it.

Boom!

Guts swung Dragon Slayer upwards, and his attack speed caused a shockwave to travel through the valley, making the flames even more intense from the extra oxygen.

"Ugh!"

Guts groaned slightly as the force of Rosine impacted his sword. Killing the elves increased his speed by a massive amount, comparable to and even faster than Rosine.

But his strength isn't enough to withstand a body flying towards him tens of times faster than sound. The impact made Guts fall onto his knees, crushing the ground into a large crater.

"Arghhh!!!"

Guts let out a scream as his metal arm took hold of the handle of his sword. The extra strength managed to push Rosine back, and with a crack, the horn on her head snapped.

Boom!

Rosine let out a loud scream of pain as her face was slashed by Dragon Slayer. Half of her face fell off from her head, showing the disgusting inside of her head.

"No! Impossible..."

Rosine fell onto the ground, smashing it into a large crater. Guts let out a large sigh as he stood up from the ground. Guts had a massive smirk as he walked towards Rosine.

Boom!

Guts jumped out of the crater and fell onto Rosine, his knee landing straight onto her stomach, cracking the ground under her into a huge fissure that extended more than 10 meters.

"UGH!"

Rosine wailed in pain as she was attacked by Guts again, but it was not the end. Guts clenched his remaining hand, and he smashed it into her chest, over and over.

Boom!

Guts stood up after a minute, his face smeared in blood, which he nonchalantly wiped off with a cloth. He is from the modern age, after all, he can't be as dirty as Guts is.

Puck came out of Guts' bag. He looked at Rosine on the ground and cringed at what he saw. She had the upper and lower parts of her body, but the chest and stomach were smashed into meat paste and blood.

"Ugh! Guts, you idiot! Could you not do something so disgusting next time?!"

Puck felt like he was about to throw up as the smell hit her nose. Guts' face morphed into a smile as he sighed.

"Whatever, let's get moving before the sun sets."

Guts set off towards the exit of the misty valleys. Along the way, he took some food out of his bag and ate it to refill his energy. Once Guts reached the exit, he was suddenly stopped.

"Hmm? Why'd we stop?"

Puck looked at Guts in confusion as he peeked out from his bag. As soon as Puck looked out, he saw a group of soldiers, a large man and a thinner man, and a woman fighting demons.

"Oi Guts! Go and help them."

Puck pointed towards the party with a smile on his face. Guts who recognised the woman as Farnese and the 2 other men as Azan and Serpico nodded.

He is feeling quite lonely after not being able to talk with others for so many days. He also knows that they are trustworthy friends, in the future at least.

"Move!"

Azan and Serpico moved away in panic as a shockwave passed in front of them. Along with a huge explosion sound as Guts hit the air.

The shockwave passed through the demons, scattering their bodies into many pieces. Guts put the sword back on his back. The increase in durability and strength made Guts sigh comfortably.

His speed increased too much further than his strength and durability, so it felt good to feel his body get stronger again.

"Wow. That was interesting..."

Serpico smiled with his eyes closed. He looked at Guts approaching them in surprise and a mix of shock. He knew that the Black Swordsman was strong, but not this strong...

"Such impressive strength! I am honoured to have witnessed it."

Azan muttered as he looked at Guts with wide-open eyes, not daring to blink in case they were next.

"The Black Swordsman is him! Arrest him now!"

Farnese shouted as she pointed her shaking arm at Guts. She saw what he just did, but she did not want to go back on her faith.

Guts watched as shaking soldiers walked towards him. They couldn't even hold their swords properly due to how much they were shaking in fear, he smirked.

"No need to get your panties in a twist. I will go with you since I just ran out of food and water."

Guts was not lying since he had just eaten his food and water, he needed a refill fro his journey back towards Caska. By now she had probably already escaped from the cave.

Guts is not doing that because he is a good person, he is not. But because it feels like the body already knows that Casca is i danger. It's almost like it has his knowledge...

"Apprehend this criminal!"

Farnese orders the soldiers. Guts snorts as he pushes his hand out, allowing them to cuff him. But when they tried to take his weapons and sword, he looked at them, causing them to back off.

"Lead the way. Miss Captain~"
