A Mutant Collector Quest

Chapter 28: Chapter 27: Aunt Cass's House (Edited)

"The board's in agreement, Victor," said Ned during the board meeting of Von Doom Industries. "The bank has lost enough already," he tells Victor, shaking his head in fake helplessness.

It is the morning of the next day, and I am sitting with the board members of Von Doom Industries. My personal shares were always the lowest, just enough to get a seat on the board. I sit silently on the side, knowing I am not the protagonist of this meeting today.

It is Victor von Doom who commands the attention, looking visibly displeased after the space mission failure. The Fantastic Four's rise to fame has overshadowed Von Doom Industries, causing shares of all its technological subsidiaries to plummet.

In a sense, I wasn't the sole cause of this situation. The banks, with their strong interest in the company, had seized the opportunity and began attacking Victor like hyenas.

However, I may have hastened the downfall. As under my suggestions, SpaceX had demanded an advance payment in full, forcing Victor to take on more loans. Additionally, I anonymously sold off the proxy shares I held in the company before the accident. This flooded the market with Von Doom Industries shares, contributing to its crash and ongoing decline.

"Do you know how much MONEY I have spent on this company?" Victor's voice resonated with anger.

I noticed the scar on the right side of his face, its metallic shine indicating the acceleration of his transformation due to cosmic rays. His gloved hands further hinted at the changes he was undergoing.

"Victor, stop. This is not a negotiation, it is a notification," Ned declared with finality. "We are pulling out!"

As the spokesperson for three banks holding the majority of shares, Ned's statement essentially Doomed the company.

Victor's face flushed with rage, yet he maintained his composure as he stood up and arrogantly walked out of the room.

For a brief moment, I anticipated him uttering something ominous like, "You lot will pay," but perhaps it wasn't necessary.

Observing the smug expressions on the faces of those present, reveling in the success of their scheme, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of pity for them.

In a way, I have debated this moral quandary countless times within the recesses of my mind: should I eliminate, imprison, or simply neutralise someone for actions they might potentially commit?

Consider Victor as a prime example. He is not yet Doctor Doom, although he has acquired abilities. However, he hasn't directly harmed anyone. In this convoluted Marvel universe, where canonical knowledge is a patchwork of comics, series, movies, and retcons, my reference points are already chaotic.

Despite having numerous opportunities to deal with Victor preemptively, I have refrained from doing so. After all, there is a chance he may not become a villain in this particular iteration of reality. And my action may just lead to him becoming one!

But I still have to be careful of him. While he is listed in the Index, there are many locations, such as Victor's personal residence or workshop, where D.A.I.S.Y. faces access limitations.

D.A.I.S.Y. may possess the capability to forcibly gain entry, but doing so risks Victor's detection. Aware of potential vulnerabilities, he would promptly reinforce his defences, making future attempts even more challenging.

Therefore, the standard routine of D.A.I.S.Y. which is lurking and conducting surveillance are rendered ineffective in such high-security environments.

So in these cases, traditional spies are the most effective option. However, I haven't been able to establish a spy force of my own. Instead, I have some mediocre spy companies under me, proficient in espionage but lacking exceptional talent.

Of course, if the need arises, I could hire someone with my substantial financial resources. Yet, loyalty cannot be purchased, so there is always a risk associated with this approach.

I also courteously bid farewell to these bank bigwigs, and they reciprocate the gesture as I exit the building.

Despite pulling an all-nighter, handling some urgent paperwork of my company, and attending this meeting, I surprisingly don't feel tired. It must be one of my powers at play.

During the night, I managed to finish the schematics for both the things I want to create. Now, D.A.I.S.Y. is running the simulations for me, and hopefully, they will be done soon.

I take my car and instead of heading back to the office, I drive towards my Aunt Cass's place. She has a small gathering that she had invited me to, and I am delighted to see her again after such a long time.

---

My car approaches the serene neighbourhood, and memories of my childhood flood my mind. Three years spent in these suburbs, playing around the garden, the trees, and different houses, makes this place hold a special significance for me.

As my car nears the quaint house of Aunt Cass, the nostalgia grows stronger. It has been some years since my last visit, but the memories remain vivid.

Parking my car in the garage, I take a moment to collect myself before stepping out. It is time to meet my family.

I approach the door, but before I can knock, it swings open from the inside, revealing my Mom.

Madeline Watson, my loving Mother, the one who raised both of us siblings, she has endured much in her life but she still has been a steadfast support for me over all these years.

She is currently the Director of Watson Entertainment Ventures, 39 years old, and divorced.

"OH! Luke, come here my baby boy," Madeline says, taking me in her arms for a hug.

I give her a tight hug and I immediately could feel her soft breasts pressing onto my chest.

Normally I wouldn't think of this about my mother, but my recent encounters have made me really sensitive about a woman's form.

Well its not like I can deny that my Mom is very hot, and even at her age she has maintained herself really well.

"Hmm, I missed you a lot," she says, releasing me from the hug and giving me a loving smile.

I lean in and give her cheek a kiss. "I missed you too, Mom," I say with a smile of my own.

Madeline blushes a bit, clearly surprised by my display of intimacy. "Then you should visit me more, and not stay cooped up in that Tower of yours," she says, giving me a stern look.

I smile wryly. "I am sorry, Mom, it's just—"

"Yes, yes, I know," she interjects, holding my face with her hand. "I get all of your updates from D.A.I.S.Y., so I know how busy you are and also everything that my wonder boy is up to," she says with a smug smile.

"Yes, I can't hide anything from you," I reply with a helpless smile, thinking to myself about the limited amount of information that she can access from D.A.I.S.Y. about me.

"Alright, come in. Your Aunt Cass has made your favourite cookies today," Madeline says happily, leading me inside by holding my arm, making me smile as I remember their taste. "There is also a guest who I want to introduce you to," she says, giving me a meaningful look.

I instantly understand that there must be someone who needs my help. Usually, my Mom and Sister reject anyone or direct them to the relevant department, but there are times when they bring it to your attention, like in Cassandra's case all those years ago.

Well, I had a suspicion that there must be a reason mom called me here, or else she wouldn't ask me to come specifically.

"Don't worry, Mom, I will help if I can," I reassure her.

"Oh, I heard about Toni from the news! Is she going to be alright? Didn't she give you some home lessons for your extracurriculars some years ago?" Madeline asks in a worried tone.

"Yeah, I am looking into it, so you don't have to worry," I say with an easy smile.

"Yes, my boy, you always help people in need. It will be the same this time. There's no one more 'special' than you," she says, looking at me with a gaze full of pride and love. "And besides, she was a weapons manufacturer. How foolish must one be to go into such a dangerous place? I was very glad when you stopped going to her house. I never liked her arrogant attitude, even on TV," she adds with a disapproving look.

Well, I am not going to tell her that it is not that simple to rescue Toni. She also doesn't need to know that Toni wasn't simply teaching me some school extracurriculars, or the reasons I stopped going to her house, or how much she really means to me. Knowing all of these things will just make her worry more.

"Have you grown taller? You even look a lot different than before," Mom asks, casting a curious gaze upon me.

"I must still be growing,"I answer swiftly.

"In just 2 weeks?" she asks suspiciously.

"Yeah, crazy right?" I say with a nervous smile.

As we enter the house, the delicious smell of cookies wafts from the kitchen, accompanied by the sound of laughter emanating from the living room.

My steps automatically lead me towards the familiar scent, a fragrance that triggers memories of Aunt Cass's irresistible cookies.

Madeline merely shakes her head with a smile at my antics and heads towards the living room.

Entering the kitchen, my eyes land on plates of freshly baked cookies displayed enticingly on the counter.

Gulp

I audibly gulp, already savouring the anticipated taste just from the sight alone.

"Huh, is that you, Luke?" Aunt Cass's voice interrupts my reverie, and I glance up to meet her 'big' ... eyes.

"Golly, you've grown into such a fine young man," she exclaims in surprise as she adjusts her hair checking me out.

Aunt Cass, Cassia Morgan, was my mother's half-sister. After my grandmother, rest her soul, divorced Madeline's father and took Madeline with her in custody, she remarried. Cassia was the result of that second marriage.

In my younger years, I was perplexed to find Aunt Cass from Big Hero 6 as my aunt, especially without Hiro or his elder brother around her in this place.

Yet, I gradually accepted it as some sort of multiverse anomaly. After all, I knew that Big Hero 6 was part of the Marvel Comics universe, so maybe that was the reason?

Anyways my cool hot Aunt, is the owner of Lucky Cat Cafe, a famous coffee house in New York, she is currently 36 years old and has never been married.

Well my eyes inadvertently drift towards her cleavage as I think of a greeting.

"You're looking nice too, Aunt Cass," I say, though my eyes still steal glances at her cleavage.

She removes her apron, placing it on the counter. " 'You look nice'? That's all you have to say after not seeing your favourite aunt for 2 years?" she says, coming near me with narrowed eyes.

Glancing at her figure, I am reminded of the incident that caused me to avoid seeing her for two years.

"You look just as hot as ever!" I comment, unable to ignore the captivating white valley from up close.

She raises her eyebrows at your comment, and then she puts her finger on my chest, trailing it down to my abs, feeling out my muscles. "It runs in the family, dear," she says, giving me a flirtatious wink.

This was Aunt Cass—cool is one word for it, and open is another.

"Now come give your Aunt a hug," she says, embracing me tightly, her soft body pressing against mine.

In my mind, all I could think about is the comparison of Aunt Cass's and my Mother's tits. I wrap my arms around her body and enjoy the moment until she breaks out of the hug.

"I was still surprised hearing Madeline mention that you were coming. I thought you would say you were 'busy' now that you are a billionaire and all," Aunt Cass says sarcastically, air quoting the word 'billionaire' as she goes towards the counter.

"It was my mistake, Aunt. I should have come to see you a lot sooner," I say, looking at her curves in those shorts.

"Well, how can I ever stay angry at my nephew? Look, I made your favourite cookies that you love so much," Aunt Cass says with a smile as she presents me with a plate of the cookies.

I take one of the cookies offered by her.

"MMMM," they melt in my mouth. "These are the best cookies in the world, Aunt Cass," I speak aloud. Maybe it was just your nostalgia speaking, but they tasted really good.

"I knew you would love them," Aunt Cass says, looking at my reaction with a big smile.

"So good," I say, taking another one from the plate.

"Let me bring these plates out, or else no one would even get to taste them before you eat them all," Aunt Cass says, carrying the two big plates with her to the door.

I take one more from the plate as it passes by me and eat the cookie while following Aunt Cass, admiring her tight ass covered by those tiny shorts as she walks ahead of me.
