Chapter 83: Father and Son
Abbadon fought well, however, taking the King and the Queen on at the same time proved to be hard. There he stood, gasping hard. He was covered in blood. The King and the Queen stood before him. Their healing ability was superior to Abbadon who had to pull out all his reserves for attack.
'You fought well, Abbadon!' the King said. 'But that's it! You said you didn't challenge me because I was the father of your best friend? Well, I didn't kill you because you were the best friend of my son!'
'Don't you dare call me son!' a man yelled. Everyone rose his head to the sky. There a woman was hovering and carrying a man on her bag. The woman had long blonde curly hairs. Her black golden eyes were a beauty on its own. Through her green dress one could clearly see her curves. And her white skin bored a golden touch. One could say that the word gorgeous was invented for her. The man wore a black suit, the sleeves up. He had black violet eyes and his black hair was braided to cornrows. His dark skin was a deep contrast to the skin of the woman. Slowly they came down. And as they did while disgust took form on the face of the Queen and the King it was joy on Seraphina's and Abbadon's face.
'Took you long enough, Vareth!'
'You look bad Abbadon!' The woman lastly landed and after putting Vareth down she immediately hurried to Seraphina.
'Was it my mother?'
'Yes!'
'I see! They are with you?' She gazed at the others and as dangerous her eyes may have been when she smiled a warmness washed over the group. Just after that they bathed in a gleam, coming from the woman. The wounds of the group healed. If the wounds was bad like in the case of Seraphina it couldn't heal completely. Abbadon ran to Seraphina and took her in a hug.
'Thank you! Abbadon and Seraphina! You fought my mother and up till now took care of my sons! I can't thank you enough! Leave the rest to us. We took care of the gate!'
'You are my mother-in-law?' Rayshel asked.
'Mmh, why? Are you dating my son?'
'Yes, Dae! He went inside the White House with Dean!'
'So they are both here? That's good! And you plan to marry my son?'
'Yes!'
'After all this is over we should have a talk. I want to get to know you better!'
'It would a pleasure' Rayshel put on a warm smile, 'mother-in-law!'
While they had their chatter Vareth had confronted the King and the Queen:
'Father and mother-in-law! Let's not make it long! Go back or die!'
'Son, you think you can defeat me? You don't even have your power!'
'Your curse, father! It has long become my own power. I am even stronger than I was in the past. I can show you! But it would end up with you getting beaten!'
'You are playing too much!'
'Don't call me mother-in-law!' the Queen growled. Abbadon replied with a smile and then quickly glanced over her shoulder.
'Seraphille, I can feel the energy of our sons in that White House. Dean's life energy is weak and fading. Go look after them. I will take care of this two!'
Seraphille patted Seraphina's shoulder and got up.
'Vareth, if possible…'
'I won't kill your mother!' The mother bust in laughter. She had to hold onto the King to not fall over.
'This arrogance! You and that Abbadon! You think you can face me while holding back?' Abruptly, she rose her arm and formed a fist. At once, Vareth's neck snapped and he dropped dead. Instead of shouting or whatever, Seraphille entered the White House leaving everyone but Seraphina, Abbadon and the King baffled. The moment she had entered the White House Vareth got up And his neck was fine.
'Damn, mother-in-law! That was kind of hardcore!' Vareth moved his head to the sides. 'And you didn't even flinch father when she snapped my head. Wow! Really a weird family!' On step and Vareth found himself between the King and the Queen.
'Father, mother-in-law, I won't kill you but I also can't pull my punches!' And right after that he had thrown his punches. Too fast to follow! How many? Nobody knew. They both only felt it. The punches shoved both away. And Vareth decided to first go after the Queen. Just when she was about to point her arm at Vareth, Vareth yanked off one arm and hurled it at the Queen. The Queen moved her head aside and focused back on Vareth.
'No!' the King bellowed. Too late. Vareth dropped dead. Out of reflexe the Queen turned around just to receive a fist that hammered her into the ground – baaaaaaaam The force behind it was on another scale. It destroyed the ground so much that the entire landscape changed. Parts of the ground rose. They were now mountains. To not get caught up in all this, Rick had moved everyone onto his sand and taken off. They were now observing from the air. While everyone had no words left Rayshel couldn't hold back their marvel. Were it not for Abbadon she would have joined the fight herself.
'I want to fight them! I need to!' The King used his ability to flatten the ground. There were still cracks but the mountains were gone.
'You got weak, father!'
'What's that? You forbid me to call your son and then you call me father?'
'Ok, yes! That's weird. I'll call you old man then! I know you got more in you then this. Or are you still wounded?'
'Wounded or not, you won't defeat me!'
'Let's see!'
