The Abomination ran at Harry with an angry growl. His eyes glowed with anger and his sharp nails shone in the dark alley. He was really mad because of the injuries that Harry had inflicted on him before. He wanted nothing but to slowly crush the head of this arrogant human and let him experience the pain and fear of death. The ground shook with each step he took and his loud roars filled the air.
With each thunderous step, the ground shook beneath his weight, and his roars reverberated through the air.
But just as The Abomination was about to reach Harry, a blur of green streaked across the alley, smashing into The Abomination and sending him crashing to the ground.
The Hulk had arrived.
The impact of the Hulk's tackle shook the walls of the surrounding buildings, and the force of the collision sent a shockwave through the air. The ground trembled as the two monstrous figures clashed, their immense strength and fury unleashed in a titanic struggle.
"Took you long enough," Harry grumbled while panting heavily.
When Harry had seen the Abomination running towards him with rage, he was ready to abandon the quest. But just before he could do so, his eyes caught a green figure running in Abomination's direction at a great speed. In no time the Hulk grappled at Abomination and tackled him, thus stopping him from reaching Harry.
A notification appeared from system, just as the Hulk tackled the Abomination. Harry was granted with 1800 points for his little endeavour with the Abomination.
Relief flooded through Harry as the Hulk engaged Abomination, the two hulking figures locked in a brutal clash. As the battle raged on, Harry knew he had to seize the opportunity.
Opening the system panel, he quickly purchased a healing scroll that cost him 200 points.
Wasting no time, he quickly used the scroll on himself. The injuries caused during the fight started healing at a rapid rate. The broken bones were also mending with the help of the scroll.
Harry sat there quietly waiting for the scroll to completely healed him. Currently he was in a vulnerable position as he was tightly holding on to his consciousness.
He could have escaped from this place and used the healing scroll later, but Harry knew that the second he moved away from here he would lose his consciousness. And by then his situation would be already dangerous then before. So he took the risk and used the healing scroll right here.
Fortunately Hulk had moved the fight away from the place where Harry was, saving Harry from taking a rash decision of quickly escaping from here.
As the healing continued, Harry glanced at the millitary who were doing their best to move the civilians away from the fight. Some tanks were even bombing Abomination whenever the opportunity appeared.
The focus on Harry had dwindled after the arrival of Hulk, and Harry was quite thankful for that.
A helicopter hovered in the sky above the two giants and the pilot was firing bullets at the Abomination helping Hulk in taking it down quickly.
A lot of the infrastructure was damaged by the fight between two. Harry even saw two unlucky people getting squashed by the destruction caused during the fight.
He would have helped them but was currently unable to.
The only good thing was that the millitary being busy controlling the damage caused due to the fight had no time to focus on Harry, an unknown guy with powerful abilities.
'Thank God,' Harry muttered as he quickly stood up. The healing process was finally completed. Harry was back to his original state, before he was hit by the tire. His broken bones were completely mended and all the internal injuries were also healed.
Harry quickly used the Body Flicker Technique, disappearing from the battlefield in a flash of speed. He had no reason to wait there and he was least interested in knowing the conclusion of the fight as he had already watched the movie.
He just wanted to get out of there before the arrival of SHIELD or HYDRA.
Repeatedly using the Body Flicker Technique, he kept himself distancing from the place of the battle.
As Harry arrived in the dark alley, he immediately activated the Transformation technique changing his face to that of an actor he had seen in his previous life, before even removing his mask.
After changing his appearance, Harry removed the mask.
Harry's new appearance was slightly visible in the dim light. His face was chiseled with strong jawline and defined cheekbones. His well-groomed, dark hair framed his face, adding to his rugged and handsome appearance.
He had taken on the appearance of Henry Cavill from the movie 'Superman'.
Once Harry was certain that he was in the clear, he quickly changed out of his battle-worn attire and into the fresh set of clothes he had purchased from the System earlier.
The second set of clothes he chose was a sleek black ensemble, consisting of a fitted turtleneck, trousers, and a long coat that billowed around him as he moved. The fabric was lightweight yet durable, designed to provide maximum maneuverability while still offering protection.
Feeling the weight of the battle slip away as he changed into his new attire, Harry stored his previous clothes into the System's space, ensuring that no evidence of his involvement in the skirmish remained. As he straightened his coat and adjusted his collar, a sense of anonymity washed over him. In this new outfit, he was just another face in the bustling city, invisible to those who might be searching for him.
Stepping out of the alley with purpose, Harry made his way towards a different hotel than the one he had been residing in before. The streets were still bustling with activity, the neon lights of the city casting a vibrant glow over everything. Harry blended seamlessly into the crowd, his new attire helping him to fade into the background.
As he approached the new hotel, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. The previous confrontation had been draining, both physically and mentally, and he was grateful for the opportunity to crash on a bed. The decision to change hotels was a strategic one, a precaution to ensure that he was not being tracked or followed by any unwanted adversaries.
While walking, Harry recounted the fight he had with Abomination.
'Should I call it plot armour or not?' Harry wondered about the specific moment of the fight.
The Hulk had appeared just before the Abomination could kill Harry. It could be called a type of plot armour but Harry already knew that Hulk was going to come anyway as it was his fight and Harry was the one who was actually interfering.
Moroeover he was not brave and foolish enough to actually experiment whether he had the plot armour or not just like the different protagonists of the novels. In order to check that he was required to be on the door of death and wait for someone or something to miraculously save his life.
Well, Harry truly wasn't fond of that. He didn't like trusting anyone with his life.
In his fight with the Abomination, the thing which he trusted was his knowledge about the future. He knew that Hulk was coming and he just had to stall time for a bit.
Even if Hulk had not appeared, he was ready to run anytime after a certain amount of time had passed or if his chakra reserves were on the verge of emptying themselves.
While contemplating about the fight, Harry finally reached the hotel as per the memories of previous owner of the body.
Upon entering the hotel, Harry was greeted by the sights and sounds of a bustling lobby. The air was filled with a medley of languages and the clinking of glasses from the nearby bar. Harry made his way to the front desk, where a friendly receptionist greeted him with a warm smile.
"Welcome to the Grand City Hotel, how can I assist you today?" the receptionist asked, her tone polite and professional.
