Chapter 8: 8. Genin
'.....'= Thoughts
"....."= Conversations

Today's date was May 23rd of the year 2008. According to Harry's knowledge about the Marvel Universe, the plot of the Iron Man movie must be at its very end.
Still the conference where Tony declares himself as Iron Man had yet not taken place.
'The next thing after the plot of Iron Man movie is the fight between Hulk and Abomination. Though I not sure about the exact date when the fight would began, I know about the location of the fight. I guess this is my chance to earn more points,' Harry thought.
Just as he had that thought, the system quest panel appeared before his eyes.

'Why does the system givee quests just after I think about doing something? I am not complaining though, as I don't want the system to decide what I could or couldn't do,' Harry thought as the previous situational quest was also assigned after he had made the decision to fight the agents.
Although the system had increased the difficulty by putting a limitation that Harry should win without a scratch.
And now he had to fight Abomination by using only four Ninja Techniques.
Also the system didn't state the time in which he had to complete the mission. So Harry had to be careful and look out for the timenod fight by reaching Harlem as earlier as possible. If he missed the time of the fight then the quest would fail automatically.
Harry ventured deeper into the forest, trudging through the thick underbrush and towering trees for hours on end. The dense foliage above blocked out much of the sunlight, casting the forest floor into a dim, shadowy world. He pressed on, his senses on high alert as he kept an eye out for any sign of danger. Every now and then, he would stop to take a break, eating and drinking from the supplies he had packed in his backpack. The food and water were essential for keeping up his strength and stamina on his long journey.
As he walked, Harry couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. Ever since awakening his chakra, he had noticed a significant increase in his physical abilities. His stamina was greater, and his body seemed to recover more quickly from fatigue.
After what felt like an eternity, Harry finally reached a clearing deep within the forest. The area was surrounded by tall trees and lush greenery, and it seemed like the perfect spot to set up camp. He wasted no time in gathering materials and constructing a sturdy shelter for himself to rest in for the next few days.
Building a shelter didn't take much of a time as Harry was quite the camper in his previous life.
Sitting inside the shelter, Harry summoned his shop panel and quickly bought the chakra paper for 50 points.
Harry sat cross-legged on the ground inside his shelter, a small pile of chakra paper in front of him. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and focused on the chakra coursing through his body.
Opening his eyes, Harry began to channel his chakra, feeling it flow from within him and out towards the chakra paper. He focused on the paper, willing it to react to his chakra. Slowly, he felt a tingle of warmth in his hands, and he watched as the chakra paper started to smolder. The edges of the paper began to burn, and soon it was reduced to ash, floating away on the breeze.
'Fire element, huh,' Harry understood that his primary element was fire as the chakra paper had burnt down. He didn't feel much about this element as each and every element had its advantages and disadvantages. It after all depends on the user to use them effectively.
Without wasting any time, he summoned the shop panel and opened the screen showing the different ranks of ninja techniques.
After contemplating for a while Harry decided to choose five techniques in total of which four were D Rank Techniques and one was a C Rank Technique.

•D Rank - Katon [Fire Release: Fire Breath]
The user breathes a powerful stream of fire from their mouth. The flames have enough power to break enormous boulders.
•Doton: Doroku Gaeshi (Earth Release: Rock Shield)
Rank: D
Description: In the jutsu, the user lifts up a giant piece of earth and uses it as a shield. For every rank, the shield grows 5 feet by 5 feet, and thickens by 3 inches
D Rank - Fuuton: [Wind Release: Wind Release Stream ]
By blowing air from their mouth, the user is able to change direction while in mid-air at high speeds, or blow an opponent away from them. It can also be used to blow up a dust cloud, concealing one's location and movements.
•D Rank -Body Flicker Technique
By using the Body Flicker Technique, a ninja can move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and the intended destination.
•C Rank- Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique
A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire and expelled from the mouth either as a massive orb of roaring flame or as a continuous flame-thrower. The scope of the attack is altered by controlling the volume of chakra that is mustered. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater on the ground's surface.

"650 points spent just like that," Harry muttered. The D Rank Techniques had each cost him 100 points, while the C Rank Technique had cost him 200 points, along with the Chakra Paper that had cost him 50 points. Now he was only left with 27 points.
The only reason he had bought a C Rank Technique, even though these levels of techniques were generally used by Chunin level ninja, was because the attack power of the D Rank Techniques was not that great.
From the earlier fight, he had noticed that the amount of chakra he possessed was greater compared to that of an average Genin. Of course, Harry was nowhere near the likes of Naruto and Sasuke when they were at the Genin level.
Still, that provided him with a bit of an edge and an opportunity to use a C Rank level Technique. Moreover, his primary element being Fire, the amount of chakra consumed to use that C Rank Technique would be reasonably lesser, and it would improve with practice of the technique.
The only reason he exhausted close to half of his chakra while fighting those agents was that he had never fought using chakra before, so he consumed more chakra than necessary while using the E Rank Techniques.
He now had almost a month to train before his fight with Abomination, so he had to effectively and efficiently use the time to train his newly acquired techniques.
