Chapter 395: Slaughter It (Seeking Monthly Votes)
"That was no small favor," Zu Taichu said with a trembling voice, "She saved my life!"
"But you are now the Master of Miracles," Isefia raised her hand, pinching a tiny distance between her index finger and thumb, "That little kindness should have been repaid long ago. Do you really intend to trade all that you have now for such a trifle?"
"Heh."
Zu Taichu had thought the Queen might have some profound insights, only to realize she was just like everyone else: "Then you're mistaken about me. I, Zu Taichu, am willing to make the trade!"
"Clap, clap, clap, clap."
Isefia clapped her hands quickly: "Impressive, really impressive. I can't help but want to give you a little red flower."
"Are you insulting me?"
Zu Taichu had already realized the gap between himself and Isefia. If she wanted to kill him, it could probably be done in the blink of an eye.
But he was not afraid to die. Rather than suffer humiliation and have his life's perseverance questioned, he would rather fight her.
At least that way, he could preserve his last shred of dignity.
"Not at all, I'm telling the truth," Isefia said, "I have no doubts about your nature, and I believe you are a fine lad."
"But isn't this what troubles you the most?"
"An ascetic, yet encountering such a Miracle," Isefia sighed, "Oh, how I truly despise it. If only my Miracle could be normal, even if it were a Lower Miracle. With my talent and brilliance, I could still stand at the pinnacle of the world."
"You think about this all the time, don't you?"
Zu Taichu had completely given up struggling. Isefia could see through all his thoughts; in front of her, he had no privacy whatsoever.
"To solve this problem, you joined the merchants without hesitation, and upon hearing of my existence, you contributed all your effort to the organization. That's how you became the last of the Seven Crown Emperors, getting the chance to meet me first."
"Truly a talented and hardworking lad."
"I can hardly resist cheering you on."
Isefia's personality was completely opposite to her senior sister's. She was always smiling, yet she could salt someone's wounds with that smile still on her face.
Zu Taichu did not doubt that if there were background music here, she could both sing and salt at the same time.
What a dreadful woman!

Zu Taichu's problem was simple—what if his instincts wanted a certain woman, but his will and self resisted vehemently?
Right, that woman was none other than the Eastern Empress Ying Muyao, the person he respected the most, his benefactor.
Zu Taichu had no inappropriate thoughts about Ying Muyao.
Yet his Miracle was very perverse, labeled as the greatest stud in the Miracle World.
The sole purpose of this power was to sow seeds into all things, allowing them to bear his progeny, to continue the lineage, and to grow the clan.
Superior Miracle Creature
The First Cause of the Atlas of All Beings
'The First Cause' is not something living or concrete, but the innate drive for evolution, the ultimate force that pushes all beings and all things from simplicity to complexity, from incomplete to whole.
Zu Taichu hated his Miracle because it forced him to become a pile-driving bulldozer.
This was also why Zu Taichu had maintained his asceticism for many years.
He did not eat delicious food but only coarse grains.
He did not wear gorgeous clothes, nor did he pursue any splendor.
Also, he firmly refused to have relations with any woman, maintaining a state of unwavering resolve and regarding everything as passing clouds.
To this end, Zu Taichu often went to the Enlightener for spiritual discipline, seeking peace of mind.
"The First Cause, the very foundation of the Atlas of All Beings."
Isefia said, "It must be very hard for you every time you see Ying Muyao, isn't it? Your body, cells, genes, soul, and even that endless Miracle Power, they all whisper in your ear."
"To get her, to possess her, to make her yours!"
The Emperor Eternal is undisputedly the most prestigious creature in the world, and faced with her, how could Diyi Yin maintain control?
Only by conquering the Emperor Eternal, by inseminating her and having her bear his offspring, would that be Diyi Yin's ultimate achievement.
And such feelings, Zu Taichu had never had for anyone else.
Be it the Female Sword Emperor or the Enlighteners of the West, or even Isefia before him, Diyi Yin had no reaction whatsoever.
Only Ying Muyao was special, only she mattered.
"You've said so much, and in the end, you haven't solved anything."
Zu Taichu replied, "I have come to you, wanting you to help me remove the side effects of Diyi Yin, if you're really that powerful, then solve it for me!"
"Just defeat it, and that will be good."
"What?"
Zu Taichu was taken aback, not understanding what Isefia meant, "Defeat, who?"
"Naturally, it's the Superior Miracle that you hold, Diyi Yin."
Isefia said casually, "Imagine, kid, there's a bad guy who wants to bully Ying Muyao, he's a scum, and then..."
"Shut the hell up!!!"
Zu Taichu could no longer tolerate the intense wrath that surged within him.
The Eastern Empress was sacred and noble in his heart, and he would not allow anyone to defile her.
"Is that so, you've felt it too," Isefia said, "this hysterical wrath."
"You crazy woman!"
Zu Taichu didn't forbid Ying Muyao from falling in love with other men; if the man were someone outstanding like Bailuo, Zu Taichu would genuinely bless them from the bottom of his heart.
But what Isefia suggested was like smearing disgusting slime on a pure white wedding dress, taking away its purity.
This too was precisely why Zu Taichu detested Diyi Yin.
The possessiveness of Diyi Yin had no love; it was nothing more than a mad beast, a complete scumbag.
"You have always thought that to obtain the power of Diyi Yin, you must merge with it," Isefia said, "but although there is only one endpoint, the paths that lead there are not singular."
"Stand up, hold your head high, stick out your chest; your current state is not worthy of that imposing stature."
Isefia's voice lost its playful tone, turning solemn and serious: "To me, the you from before looked like a little boy who watches his sister being raped by an intruder in his home, yet can only tremble and cower."
"Embarrassing, isn't it?"
"When you recall this period in the future one day," Isefia looked into Zu Taichu's eyes, "you will definitely regret it."
"..."
"The knife is in the kitchen," Isefia's tone grew even colder, "even you, if you put your all into it, can kill someone."
"Slaughter him."
In this moment, Zu Taichu's hands trembled.
He had once been mortally afraid of Diyi Yin's power because Zu Taichu saw it as his own instinct and subconscious.
But it was not, and it didn't deserve to be a part of him.
Slaughter him, destroy it, control it, rather than cowering in the corner, trembling and watching it do whatever it wants.
