Chapter 210: The Plan for the Saiyans
After finishing his training, Zuke was ready to leave the mission world.
Although he had been immersed in training for the past two months, once he relaxed his tense mind, he began to miss the ordinary meals of the everyday world.
The food in most parts of the Seventh Universe was incredibly monotonous, with Earth being one of the few places in the universe where the flavors were rich and diverse.
Just think about it—Beerus, who had traveled across the universe and tasted food from countless planets, was completely captivated by Earth's cup noodles and pudding. That alone tells you how bland the food on other planets must be.
During these two months, Zuke had been eating food that Merus brought from the Galactic Patrol headquarters during breaks. The taste was merely enough to fill his stomach.
"By the way, Mr. Zuke, please wait a moment."
Seeing Zuke about to open the door of the cube-shaped spaceship, Merus called out to him and then pointed at Zuke's body.
In the next moment, Zuke's outfit, which had been reduced to just his underwear, transformed—a complete set of clothes instantly appeared on his body.
"After all, it wouldn't be appropriate to walk out like that."
This ability was clearly not something an ordinary person could possess. Merus was undoubtedly using an angelic ability.
Although the Namekians had similar abilities, they were a special race, and there was only one of their kind in the entire universe.
However, seeing Merus use an angelic ability, Zuke looked at him in surprise. He remembered that Merus, as a trainee, wasn't allowed to use angelic abilities.
"Don't worry, this is the 'Hyperbolic Time Chamber.' It's completely isolated from the outside world and can be considered another world entirely."
Merus smiled, seemingly understanding Zuke's confusion.
He wasn't wrong. In the original story, Frieza had trained in a Hyperbolic Time Chamber he accidentally found for ten years, and during that time, he avoided the prophecy of the Oracle Fish, which declared him the 'Strongest in the Universe.'
"Here, even if you use abilities you shouldn't, it won't be discovered for a while."
Merus smiled. In the original story, he had brought Goku into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to train, largely for this reason.
"But speaking of which… Mr. Zuke, you already know my true identity, don't you?"
On one hand, Zuke seemed to have noticed that Merus had used abilities he shouldn't have. On the other hand, Zuke had managed to obtain this cube-shaped spaceship, which only angels and Destroyers possessed.
This surprised Merus. Saiyans shouldn't have access to such high-level secrets, but Zuke seemed to know a lot about these things.
"...You could say that."
Zuke nodded. His knowledge came from the works he had seen in his previous life, so it was naturally different from what the Saiyans knew.
"It seems that's the case… I don't know where Mr. Zuke learned all this, but I believe you won't harm the world."
Seeing Zuke's expression, Merus smiled—he trusted Zuke quite a bit, especially since the latter didn't seem to have the usual Saiyan brutality.
Moreover, Zuke's goal was to destroy Frieza, which made Merus trust him even more.
...
"Fix this? It's… a bit too shattered."
At the Galactic Patrol headquarters, a repair crew member looked at the pile of broken parts Zuke had handed over, his face showing a conflicted expression.
"Can't it be fixed?"
Zuke wasn't too concerned. In fact, he was just testing the waters by handing over the pile of fragments to the Galactic Patrol repair crew.
These fragments were from Zuke's destroyed scouter. Although it had exploded due to detecting an excessively high power level, he had kept the parts.
The reason he wanted the Galactic Patrol to repair it was that he now wanted to borrow something from the Frieza Force.
For example, the Frieza Force's large-scale power level detector, which wasn't portable and could measure much higher power levels, allowing Zuke to determine his exact combat strength.
Another example was the Saiyans. Zuke suddenly realized that his empty "King's Army" could be filled with Saiyans.
Imagine the King's Army filled with world-destroying Saiyans. If the enemy was truly strong, he could create a moon, and the King's Army would instantly turn into a horde of Great Apes with ten times their power.
The thought of that scene was exhilarating. Plus, since they were causing destruction within the King's Army, there was no need to worry about damaging the real environment.
After all, those Saiyans were destined to be wiped out when Frieza destroyed their planet. Wouldn't it be better for Zuke to make use of them and let them "survive" in the King's Army?
However, although Zuke wanted to return to the Frieza Force, he obviously couldn't just waltz back in.
After all, in the Frieza Force, he was likely reported as "dead." If he suddenly showed up, he might be treated as a survivor, but he would definitely be subjected to an investigation.
To avoid drawing Frieza's attention prematurely, Zuke decided to sneak back and accomplish what he needed to do.
The best way to do that was to use the scouter to contact someone he knew—like Bardock.
If there was one Saiyan Zuke could trust, it was Bardock's family. That guy was explicitly praised in the original story as one of the rare Saiyans who cared about his comrades. That wasn't fake.
With Bardock's help, working from the inside, Zuke could return to the Frieza Force unnoticed and carry out his plans without any issues.
To do that, he needed to repair this scouter—even though it was severely shattered, there was no other way.
