A Star Wars Story

Chapter 5: The Gungan

------

TRADE FEDERATION BATTLESHIP - BRIDGE

------

Gunray and Haako were waiting for news of the Jedi's death or discovery when their attention was drawn towards Tey How to turned to face them.

Tey How: "Sir, we're receiving a transmission from the surface."

The giant screen mounted on the wall inside then bridge then turned from its blank state into the image of a painted woman wearing a large extravagant red dress and a crown that seemed to be embroidered into her hair. Gunray and Haako's eyes widened as they realized it was none other than the queen of the Naboo, Queen Amidala.

Haako: "It's Queen Amidala herself."

Gunray smirked.

Gunray: "At last we're getting results."

Gunray took a few steps forward with over pride practically dripping out of his voice as he spoke.

Gunray: "Again you come before us, your highness."

Queen Amidala *On Screen*: "You will not be so pleased when you hear what I have to say, Viceroy. Your trade boycott of our planet has ended."

Gunray smirks even more as he and Haako look at each other, the smirk on Gunray's face still heavily on his face before looking back to the image of the young yet beautiful queen.

Gunray: "I was not aware of such failure."

Queen Amidala *On Screen*: "I have word that the Chancellor's Ambassadors are with you now... and that you have been commanded to reach a settlement."

Gunray: "I know nothing of any Ambassadors... you must be mistaken."

The queen of the Naboo, surprised at the level of calm and collectiveness in Gunray's reaction as well as the information that the Ambassadors had not even arrived, began to study the Trade Federation Viceroy carefully as she began to wonder what exactly Gunray was after... and hope that whatever it was that her people would be spared.

Queen Amidala *On Screen*: beware Viceroy... the Federation has gone too far this time."

Gunray: "We would never do anything without the approval of the Senate. You assume too much."

Queen Amidala's eyes narrowed at the Viceroy as she could unlike before tell that he was lying as the Chancellor himself said otherwise.

Queen Amidala *On Screen*: "We will see."

The queen fades out of the screen with the wall mounted screen returning to its blank look as Haako then looks at Gunray.

Haako: "She's right, the Senate will never..."

Gunray knowing exactly what Haako was getting at was beginning to grow irritated at all the problems they still had to work out as he angerly cut off Haako.

Gunray: "It's too late now."

Haako: "Do you think she suspects an attack?"

Gunray: "I don't know, but we must move quickly to disrupt all communications down there."

------

NABOO: THEED PALACE - THRONE ROOM

------

The queen, Eirtae, Sache, Sabe, and her Governor: Sio Bibble stand before a hologram of Senator Sheeve Palpatine, a thin and kindly man who'd served for many years as the Naboo's voice in the Grand Republic Senate. Beside the queen stood the captain of her guard, Captain Panaka who stood tall and proud as he dutifully served his queen.

Palpatine: "....The negotiations haven't started because the Ambassadors aren't there? How could that be true? I have assurances from the Chancellor that his Ambassadors did arrive. t must be the...get...negotiate."

Looks of worry and confusion filled the faces of those gathered in the room as they watched Senator Palpatine's hologram begin to sputter as he continued to try and speak for it eventually fade and cuts off completely as Queen Amidala looked at the now jammed transmission of Senator Palpatine with concern.

Queen Amidala: "Senator Palpatine?"

The young queen in confusion turns to Panaka looking for an explanation.

Queen Amidala: "What's happening?"

Captain Panaka turned to his right where his sergeant who was standing a few yards away from him stood.

Panaka: "Check the transmission generators..."

The Sergeant nodded to the captain before walking off along with a few other guards towards where the main power to the palace was located.

Bibble: "A communications disruption can only mean one thing. Invasion."

Queen Amidala: "The Federation would not dare to go that far."

Panaka: "The Senate would revoke their trade franchise and they'd be finished."

Queen Amidala: "We must continue to rely on negotiations."

The queen's tone was calm as she tried her best to keep a level head in this trying time yet deep down the queen was afraid just as everyone else in the room was. All she could do was hope that the Ambassadors, would somehow arrive and force the Viceroy to leave as without them all hope was lost.

Bibble: "Negotiation? We've lost all communications. And where are the Chancellors Ambassadors!?"

Panaka turned to face the queen with a slight amount of worry.

Panaka: "This is a dangerous situation, Your Highness. Our security volunteers will be no match against a battle hardened Federation Army."

Queen Amidala: "I will not condone a course of action that will lead us to war."

------

NABOO - ORBIT

------

Dozens upon dozens of Trade Federation C-9979 Landing Crafts were currently entering the Naboo atmosphere, in them over thousand droids along with tanks and droid carriers.

Three of these landing crafts slowly descend through the cloud cover of the perpetually gray twilight side of the planet. One by one the Federation Landing Crafts landed in the eerie swamps with troops by the thousands emerging from each of the ships in taks, transports, and speeders.

The droid invasion force moved throughout the swamps, destroying trees, plant life, and any lifeform that got in their way to Theed with no regard to the innocents of the life that lived within the swamps. Eventually the army made its way to the grassy plains, spreading out further into a full marching force.

A B1 droid commander, similar to the droid destroyed by Y/N in Trade Federation Battleship was standing inside the top of the two control areas a droid can sit in a AAT Trade Federation armored tank when a beeping was then heard from his hologram projector causing the droid commander to active it bring to life the holographic image to Nute Gunray as well as Rune Haako.

B1 Droid Commander: "Yes, Viceroy?"

Haako: "Captain, we've searched the ship and there is no trace of the Jedi. They may have gotten onto one of your landing crafts."

The droid commander nodded to the Viceroys second in command.

B1 Commander: "If they're down here, sir, we'll find them."

Gunray: "Use caution. These Jedi are not to be underestimated."

With a swift nod the commander turned off the hologram and put it away, unaware that they had already found them or rather one of them and didn't even know it yet as young Y/N is seen running through the forest with a three Single Trooper Aerial Platforms flying after him, deflecting the multitude of shots being fired at him as he did so.

Though the droids were indeed tough in numbers, three droids on Aerial Platforms was easy pickings for Y/N for there used to be six droids yet now there was only three as Y/N had already taken them out with little difficulty earlier on.

Spotting a medium sized dead and rotting tree trunk thirty feet in front of him Y/N reached out his left hand he was holding his lightsaber with his right and lifted the object into the air before with all his might throwing the dead trunk backwards behind him at an extremely fast pace in the direction of the three droid aerial platforms. Though the first droid managed to dodge it in time, the second droid didn't seem to have as good luck as it screamed at the sight of the object thrown in its direction before then crashing into the log at a very quick pace causing the aerial platform to explode and the droid piloting it to be destroyed.

The explosion originating from the second droids aerial platform served to help Y/N as it blinded the third droid piloting the third aerial platform causing the droid to steer the aerial platform off course with the next thing the droid piloting seeing being a very large tree trunk, one still alive with its roots still planted firmly in the ground, before slamming into the tree with immense force causing it too to explode and the droid piloting it to be destroyed leaving one aerial platform left.

Spotting a small clearing up ahead a seeing as it was now an evenly matched number against him, Y/N came to a halt as he would run no longer.

Y/N clutched his lightsaber to his side tightly, gripping the familiar feeling with a strong and tight grip as he turned around to face the aerial platform.

The last remaining droid aerial platform began firing at Y/N which lead Y/N to block the shots with little effort. Yet he missed his shot.

Distracted with blocking the shots, Y/N missed his chance to destroy the final aerial platform as it flew past him and into the trees ahead, eventually escaping Y/N's vision as the vines, trees, and other shrubbery were blocking his view.

And so Y/N stood, waiting for the droids eventual return as he knew it eventually would, the young Jedi standing in silence as the magenta light from his lightsaber projected onto his face, the sounds of the distant droid army filling his ears along with the humming of the distant aerial platform as well as his lightsaber.

Y/N waited, listening to the aerial platform as instead of the sound getting quieter it was not beginning to grow louder and the louder it got meant the closer it got.

Y/N: "Come on you stupid droid, take the bait."

Y/N muttered to himself this as he continued to wait and it seemed his words magically seemed to work as soon enough the aerial platform came out of the trees and into his sightline, firing at him as he blocked each and every shot that came his way until finally when it was close enough Y/N ignored the shots and jumped forward into the air.

B1-2785: "What the?!?"

The droid looked in shock as it watch Y/N extend his foot forward, flying directly towards and into the droid piloting the aerial platform as he kicked the droid in the face causing the droid's head to be sent flying backwards off the aerial platform while said aerial platform crashed into a neighboring tree.

Y/N smirked, looking down at the disconnected droit head before coming to his senses and realizing what Qui-Gon had told Y/N and Obi-Wan to do when they landed.

Pressing a button on his wrist, a green light flashed signaling that the line was open and working.

Y/N: "Master Qui-Gon, I've landed on Naboo. Had a little scrap with some droid scouts but I took care of them."

Qui-Gon *Over Comms*: "Glad to hear your still in one piece, Y/N. Federation troops are everywhere, I've already met up with Obi-Wan, we're in the swamplands near a large body of water. Sending our location now."

A small beeping was emitted from Y/N's wrist signaling the receival of the coordinates causing Y/N to press another button on his wrist causing a small holomap to appear with a green dot showing where he was located and a orange dot showing close to his location.

Y/N: "Coordinates revived, looks like your close."

Qui-Gon: "Good, try to speeden up your pace on getting here. Leave the sight seeing for after we stop the Federation."

Y/N released a small chuckle at this before nodding by reflect despite Qui-Gon not being able to see it.

Y/N: "Yes, Master."

Following the coordinates, Y/N after only a short period of time travelling reached Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan's position. It seemed he had already been heading in the right direction and without knowing it the droids had helped him.

Obi-Wan: "What took you so long?"

The grin on Obi-Wans face said all Y/N needed to know as he could tell his fellow Padawan learner was joking with him.

Y/N only rolled his eyes at Obi-Wan who released a slight chuckle at this.

It was then that Y/N noticed a orange and beige humanoid with a large mouth and two flipper like ears sprouting out the back of his head standing next to Qui-Gon.

Jar Jar Binks: "Hellio, mesa culled Jar Jar Binks. Whosa yousa?"

Y/N sent a brief nod to Jar Jar.

Y/N: "I'm Y/N L/N, Jedi Padawan Learner."

Jar Jar waved with excitement yet despite looking like he was about to continue the conversation, Qui-Gon interjected.

Qui-Gon: "Jar Jar, you said you could take us to a city? Can you do that?"

Jar Jar nodded hesitantly.

Jar Jar: "Yesa... but...um..."

Qui-Gon: "Please, Jar Jar. The fate of your entire planet rests on if we get to Thead in time to save the Queen."

Jar Jar hesitated once more yet this time he nodded with more confidence as he then walked to the edge of the water.

Jar Jar: "Wesa havin to goen underwater, okeyday?"

The three nod as they then reach down and pulled out small rebreather capsules from their utility belts, putting them into their mouths allowing for them to breath even when underwater.

Jar Jar: "And my warning yous, Gungans no liken outsiders, so don't expicin wern welcome."

Obi-Wan: "Don't worry, this has not been out day for warm welcomes."

Y/N: "It certainly has not."

Jar Jar without explanation walks to the edge of the water before using his strong legs jumped into the air, yelling out in his native language a few words whilst somersaulting with a twist and diving into the water.

Jar Jar then appeared with his face out of water.

Jar Jar: "Ahh... yousa follow me now, okeyday?"

With nods and their breathing masks on, the three Jedi slowly walked into the water after Jar Jar, swimming in the murky water for a short amount of time until when if finally cleared revealing a distant glow which as they got closer revealing something none of them had expected.

In the depths of the waters an entire city was hidden made up of large bubbles that seemed to stretch for miles upon miles.

After swinging for a period of time, Jar Jar and the Jedi who were following closely behind him approach a strange bubble membrane that seemed to magically keep the water out. While the Jedi were hesitant, Jar Jar didn't stop even when they approached the bubble membrane, rather he swam up to it and still didn't halt his actions as with ease and what almost seemed like magic the clumsy Gungan went straight through the bubble membrane which sealed behind him immediately after entering.

Seeing this the Jedi were quick to do the same as they too swam up to and through the bubble membrane, with little effort entering the membrane with no water coming in after them.

Just as Jar Jar said, the Gungan who inhabited the city did not seem pleased to see them. Rather they looked a slight amount scare.

Jar Jar who was oblivious ignored this as he smiled at the place he grew up in.

Jar Jar: "Sooo good beein home."

Two Gungans started talking gibberish as Jar Jar and the Jedi walk a little further into the city only to be halted when they saw a Gungan captain armed with a long electro pole seated firmly upon a two-legged Kaadu run up to and halt Infront of them.

Captain Tarpals: "Hey yousa, stopa there!"

Jar Jar nervously smiled at the captain.

Jar Jar: "Heyo-dalee, Cap'n Tarpals. Mesa back!"

Captain Tarpals only sighed as he shook his head in annoyance.

Captain Tarpals: "Noah gain, Ja Ja. Yousa goen tada Bosses. Yousa in big dudu this time."

Jar Jar hangs his head and wines, knowing he was in more than just trouble. Another guard comes up on a Kaadu armed with a electro-pole and gives Jar Jar a slight zap causing Jar Jar to snap out of it as he now glared at the guard.

Jar Jar: "How wude."

------

OTAH GUNGA - HIGH TOWER BOARD ROOM

------

The Bosses' board room similar to the bubble membrane the Jedi and Jar Jar had entered the city through, the walls also a bubble membrane with a long circular judge's bench that had five seats that each possessed a Gungan leader. in the center was Boss Nass, a large and plump Gungan as well as the head leader of the Gungans as he sits on a chair raised higher than the other four Gungans.

Boss Nass: "Yousa cannot bees hair. Dis army of mackineeks up dare tis new weesong!"

Qui-Gon: "That droid army is about to attack the Naboo. We must warn them."

Boss Nass: "Wesa no like da Naboo! Da Naboo tink day so smarty. Day tink day brains so big."

Y/N stifles his chuckle the best he could, trying to keep Boss Nass and the rest of the Gungans from hearing it.

Obi-Wan: "Once those droids take control of the surface, they will take control of you."

Boss Nass: "Mesa no tink so. Dey not know of uss-en."

Y/N: "Boss Nass, surely big brained individuals like yourselves realize that you and the Naboo form a symbiont circle. I've seen this before on other worlds, what happens to one will in turn affect the other."

Boss Nass simply shook his head.

Boss Nass: "Wesa no care-n about da Naboo."

Qui-Gon upon hearing this subtly waved him hand through the air in Boss Nass' direction.

Qui-Gon: "Then speed us on our way."

Boss Nass: "Wesa gonna speed yousaway."

Qui-Gon gently and subtly waved his hand through the air once more in Boss Nass' direction.

Qui-Gon: "We could use a transport."

Boss Nass: "Wesa give yousa una bondo. Da speedest way tooda Naboo tis goen through da planet core. Now go."

Qui-Gon bowed slightly as did Y/N and Obi-Wan.

Qui-Gon: "Thank you for your help. We leave in peace."

The three Jedi turned around and began walking out of the high tower board room with a few Gungan guards escorting them as they did so.

Obi-Wan: "Master, what's a bongo?"

Qui-Gon: "A transport, I hope."

Y/N: "I'm piloting, last time we let Obi-Wan pilot he got sick mid-flight."

Obi-Wan glared at Y/N who smirked upon seeing this.

Obi-Wan: "You were the one piloting when I got sick mid-flight, Y/N."

Y/N: "No I remember it quite clearly, Qui-Gon was injured as that tribal chieftain on Jakku blasted him in the shoulder when we were negotiating peace between him and the rival tribe. Master Dooku and I were applying medical attention to him when you were flying and I had to take over because your stomach couldn't handle a little turbulence."

Obi-Wan only grumbles as despite wanting to admit it, Y/N, at least this time, spoke the truth.

As they neared the exit to the room, Qui-Gon noticed Jar Jar in chains to the side and began to feel bad for the Gungan as he had been the one to lead them to this hidden city in the first place despite knowing the punishments that he would face should the come here.

Giving Qui-Gon a forlorn look, Jar Jar speaks up.

Jar Jar: "Daza setten yousa up. Goen through da planet core is bad bombin! Ahhh... any hep hair would be hot."

A sheepish and innocent grin crossed Jar Jar's face, his eyes lighting up with hope as Qui-Gon turned around and walked toward Boss Nass once more. Obi-Wan seeing this gave Qui-Gon a confused look.

Obi-Wan: "Master, we're short of time."

Qui-Gon "We'll need a navigator to get us through the planet's core. This Gungan may be of help."

Qui-Gon resumed his walk towards Boss Nass before standing in his previous place causing Boss Nass to scowl at Qui-Gon's return.

Qui-Gon: "What is to become of Jar Jar Binks here?"

The scowl on Boss Nass' face was replaced with a grin revealing that without Boss Nass even needing to say anything, Jar Jar would be punished horribly.

Boss Nass: "Hisen to be pune-ished."

Jar Jar hung his head and wines, giving up hope as he already began preparing himself for his soon to be pain filled fate and possible end.

Qui-Gon: "I have saved his life. He owes me what you call a 'life debt'"

Qui-Gon waved his hand once more, once again using the force to influence Boss Nass' decision.

Qui-Gon: "Your gods demand that his life belongs to me now."

Boss Nass looks to Jar Jar in shock.

Boss Nass: "Binks. Yousa haveda liveplay with thisen hisen?"

Jar Jar confused as to what was happening nods to Boss Nass.

Jar Jar: "Ah-huh."

Boss Nass shook his head violently, the ripples on his face flapping around as saliva flew around the room before looking back at Qui-Gon and sighing.

Boss Nass: "Begone wit him."

Jar Jar: "Count mesa outta dis one! Better dead here, den deader in da core... Yee guds, whata mesa sayin?!"

------

BONGO COCKPIT - UNDERWATER

------

Y/N sat in the pilot seat, piloting and maneuvering the Bongo through the murky pressurized depths of the Naboo seas while Jar Jar sits in the co-pilot seat helping to guide Y/N in which direction he was supposed to go. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan sat comfortably in the back as they watched the countless different water species swim by them.

Jar Jar: "Dis is nutsen... Ooo, gooberfish!"

Obi-Wan looked to Jar Jar with curiosity.

Obi-Wan: "Why were you banished, Jar Jar?"

Jar Jar: "Tis a longo taleo, buta small part of it wawdbe mesa....aaaa... clumsy."

Obi-Wan looked at Jar Jar in disbelief with both Qui-Gon and Y/N also giving Jar Jar confused looks, wondering just how someone could manage to bring about their own banishment through simply being clumsy.

Obi-Wan: "You were banished because you were clumsy?"

Jar Jar: "Ahh... yousa mighten be sayin dat."

Y/N: "If you really are that clumsy, how are you still alive?"

Jar Jar: "Oh mesa got save by thi-"

Realizing what he might have just started Y/N looks to Jar Jar with a bored look.

Y/N: "Is this going to be a long tale?"

Jar Jar: "Longo, verin longo."

Y/N: "Then I'd rather not know."

Jar Jar scoffs at Y/N in annoyance causing both Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to laugh at Y/N. Y/N meanwhile veers the craft to the left, directing it towards a dark and less light covered area causing him to turn on the lights of the Bongo, the lights filling the water and making it much easier for Y/N to see both the way he needed to follow as well as all the various wildlife that inhabited the dark deep waters of the Naboo core.

Little did any of the Jedi nor Jar Jar know, a large dark shape had begun to follow them.

Obi-Wan in the mean time unlike Y/N was still curious as to why Jar Jar had been banished as he motioned for Jar Jar to continue his story.

Jar Jar: "Mesa cause-ed maybee one or duey lettal bitty axadentes...yud-say boom da gasser, un crash der Bosses heyblibber... den banished."

Obi-Wan looked at him confused, still trying to work out half the words Jar Jar had said and what exactly a heyblibber was yet that would have to happen another time as a loud crashing sound appeared out of nowhere as the bongo lurches to one side allowing for Qui-Gon to get a clear and shocking glimpse of a large luminous Opee Sea Killer hooking the bongo with its long and gooey tongue and reeling in the left side of the bongo into its mouth.

Jar Jar: "Uh-oh. Big gooberfish. Huge Opee."

Yet while the Opee seemed large at the moment, they soon found themselves not having to worry about it any longer as an even large monster appeared out of no where and attacked the Opee Sea Killer, grabbing the giant Opee with its powerful jaws causing the Opee to let the Bongo go free as it screeched in pain.

Qui-Gon having seen this occur releases a sigh.

Qui-Gon: "There's always a bigger fish."

As the bongo propels away deeper into the the gloom and away from the Opee and Sando Aqua Monster, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Jar Jar watch as the Sando Aqua munches on the Opee, using it strong set of jaws as well as its front paw to rip off the head of the Opee before eating the rest of the Opee in one large and single bite.

------

TRADE FEDERATION BATTLESHIP - BRIDGE

------

Nute Gunray and Rune Haako stand before a holographic image of Darth Sidious, the dark lord standing with content as he was glad everything was so far going according to plan.

Nute Gunray: "The invasion is on schedule, My Lord."

Even thought the Sith Master knew this already, it still felt good to hear as Sidious nodded to the two Neimoidians.

Sidious: "I have the Senate bogged down in procedures. They will have no choice but to accept your control of the system."

Nute Gunray: "The Queen has great faith the Senate will side with her."

Sidious smirked at this.

Sidious: "Queen Amidala is young and naive. You will find controlling her will not be difficult."

Gunray nodded to the Sith Master.

Gunray: "Yes, My Lord."

The hologram of Darth Sidious disappeared leaving Gunray and Haako standing alone as Haako looked to Gunray with a cautious glance.

Haako: "You didn't tell him about the missing Jedi?"

Gunray: "No need to report that to him, until we have something to report."

------

BONGO COCKPIT - UNDERWATER

------

Jar Jar: "Where wesa goin."

Qui-Gon: Don't worry, the Force will guide us..."

Jar Jar: "Ooooh, maxibig... "da force"...Well, dat smells stinkowiff."

Upon finishing his sentence the alarms began to sound in the cockpit as a light began flashing on the control panel.

Y/N: "We're losing power."

Jar Jar: "Oh, no..."

Y/N not wanting them to lose power out in the open steered the controls towards a nearby cave system large enough to house the Bongo yet not something large than the Bongo, just barely managing to get the Bongo in the cave in time before the sub completely lost power causing Jar Jar to groan in irritation as he rubbed his hands over his face in annoyance.

Jar Jar: "Oh, wesa diein here."

Qui-Gon shook his head at Jar Jar.

Qui-Gon: "Just relax. We're not in trouble yet."

Jar Jar: "What yet? Monstairs out dare! Leak'n in here, all'n sink'n, and nooooo power! You nutsen! WHEN YOUSA TINKEN WESA IN TROUBLE?!!!?"

Y/N, wanting to try and reestablish the power to the sub reached under the power panel and pulled out a few wires, connecting a red and yellow wire together before grabbing a green wire and blue wire and sticking them together, trying to get a spark to appear as that would mean the circuit in the connected red and yellow wires had been established and the power could be restored.

Y/N continued to press the wires together, sparks being emitted from the wires until finally a different spark was emitted from the wires resulting in the power being re-established to the Bongo as the lights turned back on, both on the inside and the outside revealing an Colo Claw Fish right in front of them in the cave.

Jar Jar: "Ahhh monsters back!!!"

It seemed Jar Jar wasn't the only one who was startled as the Colo Claw Fish was also surprised as it reared back whilst Y/N quickly turns around and speeds backwards maneuvering through the caves backwards.

Jar Jar continues to panic and babble incoherently until Y/N finally had enough and turned to him.

Y/N: "Will you please be quiet."

Y/N puts his hand on Jar Jar's shoulder causing Jar Jar to fall into a temporary coma.

Obi-Wan grew a smirk on his face.

Obi-Wan: "You overdid it."

The Colo Claw Fish no longer startled by the Bongo and now looking for its next meal leaps after the fleeing Bongo, the sub narrowly avoiding the deadly teeth of the Colo Claw Fish. Upon missing the jaws of the Color Claw Fish Y/N puts the ship into overdrive as he brought the Bongo out of the cave at a breakneck pace, just narrowly missing the jaws of the Sando Aqua in the process.

The Colo Claw Fish didn't have the luck they did however as when it exited the caves, the Sando Aqua caught the Colo Claw Fish in its giant jaws causing the Colo Claw Fish to screech in pain as the Sando Aqua took yet another life.

Sometime after escaping the monsters of the deep, Jar Jar awoke from his temporary coma as he slowly regain consciousness.

Y/N: "Welcome back, Jar Jar."

Qui-Gon: "Head for that outcropping."

Jar Jar: "Oie Boie!"

The Bongo continued to speed off through the water as the Jedi along with their Gungan friend got closer and closer to Theed.

------

NABOO - MAIN ROAD INTO THEED

------

The long columns of the Trade Federation droid army moved down the main road leading to Theed, their destination: The Naboo Royal Palace.

Meanwhile the Queen watched helplessly from a window in the palace, a transport carrying Nute Gunray and Rune Haako lands in the Theed Plaza with both Nute Gunray and Rune Haako exiting the transport with a B1 droid commander walking up to Nute Gunray.

B1 droid Commander: "Viceroy, we have captured the queen."

Gunray smirked triumphantly upon hearing this.

Gunray: "Ah, victory!"

------

NABOO - OUTSIDE CITY OF THEED

------

Finally after a long journey the Bongo carrying the three Jedi and lone Gungan arrived at Theed outside the city, the top of the Bongo opening allowing for the fresh topside air to fill the Bongo and the lungs of the lifeforms within it as they all rejoiced at finally arriving at their destination.

Jar Jar looked around and admired the beauty of the lands of which the Naboo populate and dwell inside.

Jar Jar: "Oo. Dis seem uverly."

Y/N: "Jar Jar that will probably be the only thing we ever agree on again."

Though Jar Jar was too busy taking in the beautiful scenery to hear what Y/N said, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan did as they won't released slight chuckles at the young padawans words as they looked around enjoying the beautiful scenery while they could, knowing that as soon as they stepped outside of the pod the real journey would truly begin.
