Chapter 181: [181] Becoming a Special Admission Student at Queenvail
Nighttime.
"Finally, it's over."
Sylvia opened the hotel room door and collapsed onto the pristine white bed, utterly exhausted.
"Make yourself at home. No one usually disturbs me during my rest time, so you don't need to worry about being discovered."
Okita entered the room, glancing around.
As a world-class diva, the conglomerate had naturally booked her the finest hotel—spacious, lavishly decorated with expensive carpets and paintings.
"I'm going to take a shower first. I'm completely drained today."
After lying on the bed for a while, Sylvia got up again and rummaged through her suitcase for a change of clothes.
Following the morning concert incident, she had been questioned by the police and then forced to hold an emergency press conference. She had been busy until now, running around all day.
"There's some fruit on the table. Help yourself if you're hungry."
"Got it. Do as you please."
Okita sat on the sofa, her gaze fixed unwaveringly on the painting, her expression completely neutral as she spoke.
Sylvia took her clothes and headed to the bathroom.
Soon, the lights inside turned on, followed by the rustling sounds of clothes being removed and the running of water.
Okita remained seated, her initially unwavering gaze gradually drifting toward the bathroom before snapping back, only to slowly drift over again.
The bathroom was designed conservatively; from her position, she could only see the faint outline of the girl's silhouette.
"It's all the curse's fault!"
Roy, hidden behind Okita's gaze, inwardly cursed Angra Mainyu.
If not for the curse he had planted on him, he would never have become this kind of person!
"Okita, do you want to take a shower too?"
While Roy was lost in thought, Sylvia—having finished her shower—emerged from the bathroom at some point.
Since Okita was also a girl, Sylvia had no reservations. She stepped out wearing only an elegant set of purple lace lingerie, her slender limbs and fair skin exposed to the air. Her graceful figure was breathtaking, flawless as if sculpted by the gods.
"I don't have a change of clothes."
Roy, speaking on behalf of Okita, politely declined.
"You can borrow mine! You've been running around all day, and you even fought this morning. It can't be comfortable staying sweaty, right?"
Sylvia pulled out a simple white set of lingerie from her suitcase and, with a smile, nudged Okita toward the bathroom.
"I don't want to share a bed with someone who smells like sweat!"
The room was large enough that they could easily sleep separately—there was more than one bedroom.
But Sylvia wanted to share some secrets with Okita tonight. She was curious about Okita, and since they were both girls, sharing a bed wasn't a big deal.
What could possibly happen?
Okita had initially resisted.
But after hearing this, she fell silent for a moment, obediently took the clothes, and entered the bathroom.
Inside the bathroom...
"It was Sylvia who insisted on this, not my fault!"
Roy gave Okita the order to start undressing and take a bath.
"Okita is surprisingly well-endowed!"
Through the shared vision of his familiar, Roy took in every inch of Okita's delicate figure.
This was his first time seeing Okita's body. Previously, hidden under her haori, he hadn't noticed how unexpectedly voluptuous she was. While not quite on par with Touko, she easily rivaled Utaha and was close to Ichika's proportions.
"Sylvia."
"What is it?"
"Do you have any larger underwear?"
"...Just make do for now. I'll go out and buy you some tomorrow."
In the bathroom, Roy could hear Sylvia's voice through the monitor, sounding inexplicably deflated.
Before long, Okita emerged from the bathroom wearing only a set of underwear.
Sylvia sat on the edge of the bed, her complicated gaze fixed on Okita's chest. The white underwear was indeed stretched to its limits, filling her with mixed emotions.
"Is it uncomfortable being so tight?"
"Not at all."
What discomfort could there be?
The master could only share the familiar's vision, not even hearing, let alone touch. Roy would have loved to experience whether Okita felt any discomfort, but alas, the conditions didn't permit it. What a shame!
"Well, I guess the difference isn't that big then!"
Sylvia muttered under her breath, her tone carrying a hint of self-consolation.
Judging by appearances, Okita looked about two years younger than her, yet she'd lost in the bust comparison. How discouraging was that!
"Who are you talking to?"
At that moment, the spatial window in front of Sylvia suddenly emitted a voice.
It was a voice-only spatial window, and the voice coming through belonged to a woman—one that sounded quite mature at that.
"Okita Souji, a girl who's abandoned her past name."
Sylvia's expression was a mix of helplessness and pity.
This child must be trying to escape her traumatic past through cosplay, hence her obsession with role-playing to the point of discarding her former name!
Hearing this, Roy couldn't help but mentally scoff.
Young lady, you're really overthinking this!
"Who?"
"That girl who defeated the puppeteer this morning."
"I see, so it's her. You told the press conference you didn't know her or where she went, but it turns out you were hiding her all along. Well, as long as she's not dangerous..."
The woman's voice from the other side of the window was remarkably rational.
"I have some confidence in my ability to judge people."
Sylvia clearly trusted Okita completely. If Okita had any ill intentions, she wouldn't have helped during the concert.
"That's Petra, the chairwoman of Queenvail Girls' Academy and my manager. She called to check on me."
Sylvia explained the identity of the woman on the phone to Okita, who stood by the bed. Then, remembering something, a pleased smile appeared on her face.
"Petra, there's something I need your help with regarding Souji."
"What is it?"
"She's undocumented. I'd like you to arrange for the conglomerate to get her registered."
"That's a simple matter."
Petra's voice remained perfectly calm.
However, suddenly, there was a pause on the other end, followed by a tone of delight.
"Wait, Sylvia, I remember that girl is quite young, right?"
"Fifteen years old."
Okita's eyes flickered as she proactively stated her age.
Indeed, Okita's appearance was youthful enough to pass for a middle schooler, and no one would question it if she claimed to be a high school student.
"Haha, that's the perfect age!"
Petra's voice carried a note of pleasure, and faint applause could be heard in the background.
"Okita Souji, I can arrange your residency, but on one condition—enroll at Queenvail Girls' Academy as a special admission student!"
This was truly... an effortless stroke of luck.
He hadn't even brought it up, yet the other party had taken the initiative.
"Wait, Petra, I didn't ask you to negotiate terms with Souji."
Sylvia frowned at this point, displeased with Petra's bargaining.
"I don't mind."
Okita quickly interjected, cutting off Sylvia before she could continue.
"I've long admired Asterisk City. If I can study there, I'd be more than happy to go."
"Are you sure?"
Sylvia looked at her with concern, as if afraid she was being coerced.
"I'm sure. Sylvia, do you not want me to go to Asterisk City?"
"If you can come back with me, of course I'd be overjoyed!"
Hearing this, Sylvia could only wear a fretful, motherly expression and nod helplessly.
Asterisk City was far from as simple as it appeared on the surface. Since ancient times, places where fame and conflict converged were also whirlpools of unsavory dealings, harboring deep shadows that lingered within.
"Souji might seem strong, but she doesn't strike me as particularly sharp. Well, I guess it's up to me to protect her!"
Sylvia secretly resolved in her heart—she would never let anyone harm Souji!
