Chapter 8: Chapter 7 Ogre Tribe
The next day, my journey to the ogres continued, but now I had a friend to brighten up my time, I have nothing against Rimuru, but when you have a beautiful girl traveling with you, it's much better!
Of course, I couldn't suppress my excitement when she sat behind me, hugging my waist, and pressed her chest against my back. And our evening bath didn't help matters!
Yes, I made it clear to her that in the possible future, I will have two more wives, and of course, I'm not going to throw myself into their beds and propose.
I want to get to know them all better, and only when I'm ready, I will marry them.
I don't know why, but I am very attracted to Ruby, although we've only known each other for two days!
On the third day of our journey, we reached the outskirts of the ogre settlement, and before we could enter, our path was blocked.
It was a man with red hair and horns, who was glaring at us.
"Benimaru…"- I heard Ruby's voice and turned around to ask.
"Do you know him?"
She shook her head and answered
"Not in that way, but I know!"
I nodded and didn't ask her any questions, but simply turned to the man when he spoke.
"Outsiders, you are not welcome here, this is the ogre tribe, go away!"- he said.
And before I could say anything, Ruby intervened.
"We want to see the chief!"- Ruby said, descending to the ground.
"And what makes you think that I will let you see my father?"- he said.
So he is the chief's son? But I don't think that gives him the right to be arrogant, and if my future wife weren't there, I would kill him for the way he talks to Ruby.
"We want to save you. An army of orcs is moving here!" she said, to which this guy laughed.
Damn, he's already pissing me off!
"You think we're afraid of some orcs?" he replied
"No, but we're talking about an army that numbers in the hundreds of thousands! No matter how strong you are, you'll be overwhelmed by numbers!"
"Don't make me laugh..." he didn't have time to finish speaking, as some old man hit him on the head with a stick.
"A future chieftain shouldn't talk like that to people who clearly didn't mean any harm!" the old man said, then turned to us.
"Our chieftain wants to see you!" he said and turned around and started to leave.
Of course, we followed him, passing by the arrogant bastard who was looking at us angrily, I just smirked at him and didn't pay any more attention to him.
Of course, Ruby told me about this story with the orcs, I wondered how she knew this, since she was in a completely different world, but I didn't ask her, it didn't matter to me.
Entering the village, many eyes were fixed on us, women, men, children and all with horns!
Suddenly, a ball rolled towards me, I picked it up and saw a girl with a cute horn looking at me embarrassedly. I smiled at her and threw her the ball, she smiled at me and took it, running away.
I laughed at this situation, and noticed Ruby's gaze!
"What?" I asked her
"Oh, nothing!" she said, turning away.
We approached the house in the center, where the old man stopped and looked at us.
"The chieftain is waiting for you inside!" he said
We nodded and entered the house, in the center of which was a table, at which sat a man with red hair, like that guy, only this one was older, about 20 years. Next to him was a beautiful woman, with pink hair, like my future wife, and only this gave me an idea.
"Greetings, strangers, I am the chieftain of the ogres, and this is my wife!" he said, standing up, and pointing to the woman next to him.
"Please sit down!" he said to us
We obeyed him and sat opposite!
"First of all, I apologize for my son. He is young, and his blood is too hot."
"No, we don't hold a grudge against him!" Ruby replied
"But..." I wanted to intervene, because that guy was really annoying me, but Ruby looked at me, telling me to shut up.
"We came here to warn you about the tragedy that could happen to you!" Ruby said.
The chief sighed and said.
"I know what you're talking about, so please take my son and daughter and leave here! I'm asking you as a father, I want my children to live!" he said, in a sad tone.
"No!" I replied.
I saw how upset he was, but then I added.
"We plan to take all the ogres!"
He looked at me and answered.
"Girl, this is our home, and where are we going?" he asked.
"Home is not a place, but people!" Ruby said.
"I agree with her, a house can always be rebuilt and a place can be found for a new home, but people cannot be brought back." I told him.
Suddenly, a pink-haired girl entered the room, hiding her face in her sleeves, noticing me, she blushed, and I in turn felt like something connected me to her.
She went to her parents, and said something.
"This is our daughter! She wants to make you tea!" the man said.
"I will gladly try the tea you made!" I said smiling.
She blushed and left! I then turned back to the chief, only to notice the chief's knowing smile and the chief's wife smirking at me, which made me blush a little that I was caught red-handed.
Although it was a relief to know that they would accept such a relationship! But that means I'll be related to that annoying guy!
Sigh... A few minutes later, the pink-haired girl comes out, with two cups of tea for me and Ruby.
"Thank you!" I said smiling at her, which made her blush and quickly leave.
"Okay, we have made a decision, but where should we go?" the chief asked me.
"In this forest, a new city is being built, which is in need of hands, its ruler is my friend. You will be welcome there." I told him, sipping tea that was very tasty, and Ruby also agreed with this.
"Okay, then I will immediately inform the residents that we are leaving this village!" the chief said and left.
Now, only me and Ruby, my "mother-in-law", were left in the room.
She looked at me and smiled until she spoke.
"You know, when my girl was little, she was very shy and it was difficult for her to make friends. Everyone only saw her as a princess, the daughter of a chief! And because of this, many people tried to establish good relations with her in order to get something from her. She never heard the word "thank you" from anyone except her family. She is very happy now that she heard this word from you, and how she blushed just looking at you," the woman said, laughing.
I just smiled at her and continued drinking tea.
About thirty minutes later, the chieftain returned.
"We are leaving here tomorrow. In the meantime, my daughter will show you your rooms," he said, calling his daughter, who appeared with a blush on her cheeks.
"No need! One room is enough for us!" Ruby said.
My eyebrow twitched after hearing this, and I noticed that the girl's face darkened a little.
But she still walked us out, seeming a little upset.
After she left, I closed the door and looked at Ruby.
"Ruby, did you have to tell you that?" I said to the girl who was sprawled on the bed.
She laughed and answered.
"I want to see how much she is ready to be with you, even if you already have a mistress!"
"But you are not my mistress yet!" I said.
"The key word is "yet"!" she answered with a laugh.
I shook my head, undressed and jumped on the bed, and after a few minutes I fell asleep.
The night passed quietly, but the morning was eventful….
As soon as I woke up I felt a distinct warmth from the front, although I remember that Ruby fell asleep on the other side of the bed.
Opening my eyes, I noticed the face of a girl with pink hair in front of me.
When did she end up here? Did she sneak in last night? And besides, she was naked, I could feel her chest pressed against mine, they were almost the same size.
I wanted to wake her up, but I saw Ruby grinning at me, I couldn't do it.
"What, happy? It's your fault!" I said quietly with reproach.
"And how happy! Despite the fact that you have a lover, it didn't stop her," Ruby answered with a laugh.
Which woke up the girl, who yawned and sat up and then noticed me still naked, like her and Ruby grinning. She blushed deeply, quickly wrapped herself in a blanket, and ran away.
When she ran out of the room, her mother passed by, shocked by her daughter, and smiled at me with an understanding smile and left.
I groaned and plopped down on the bed again.
"By the way, when are you going to name her?" Ruby asked me.
"I think when we get back. Rimuru will name all the ogres, and I will only name the pink-haired one. But I don't even know what name would suit her!" I said with a sigh.
"Shuna! Name her Shuna." Ruby told me.
"Why? I won't lie, it suits her, but still…"
"Don't think about it, it just suits her." Ruby told me.
I sighed and didn't say anything more about it, but...
"Ruby, you told me that this is your second life, and you told me a lot about it, but you never mentioned the first one." I asked her.
After which her face became full of anger, sadness, sorrow, and... melancholy?
"It was a shitty life. I was a guinea pig for some people, and my death was a matter of time. But the only thing I don't agree with is that I left the person closest to me there..." she said, and fell silent, I felt her pain, and just walked up to her and hugged her.
"Everything is fine! Now you're alive here, great, and since you're here, it means we can get to your first world and save your friend." I told her with a smile, but in my soul I felt that this would not happen, so now everything is fine with her.
She smiled and accepted my hugs, in this state, we stayed for about ten minutes until they came for us. All things were collected, and we were ready to start our journey!
