Chapter 158: A quick battle
Void and Alayot followed behind Beerus, holding onto Whis as he transported them to Beerus' planet.
Upon arrival, Void and Alayot landed and walked without much interference.
"It seems the gravitational force of this planet doesn't affect you?" Whis was the first to speak, observing the two beings.
"No, the gravity in the Abyss is stronger," Void replied.
"I'm used to different gravitational forces on various planets," Alayot added.
"Alright, that's good, but I think Lord Beerus would like to have a personal chat with you," Whis said as Beerus let out a yawn.
With his tail swaying, Beerus asked, "Whis told me you're from the Abyss and are called Primordial Demons. But where is the Abyss?" He squinted his eyes.
"And what are Primordial Demons?" Beerus added.
Void smiled faintly. "Primordial Demons, in a sense, are demons but with a superior bloodline. We are directly bred by the Abyss and are far stronger than regular demons." Void paused briefly before continuing.
"The Abyss is both our mother and our home. It is the amalgamation of countless worlds and universes conquered by us," Void said with a grin.
Beerus instantly frowned upon hearing this. "So, you're here to destroy this universe?" Beerus asked solemnly.
"Destroy? Ah, no," Void replied with a smile. "How strong am I? How dare I do that? There are you Destroyers, who are stronger than me, then the Angels, not to mention the Grand Priest and Zeno-sama. Even if I were given hundreds of guts, I wouldn't dare," Void thought grimly.
The last thing he wanted was to remain in the Dragon Ball universe—too dangerous for him. It might seem like just twelve universes, but the beings within those universes were absurdly strong.
"Then why are you here? Do you think I'll believe you?" Beerus suddenly asked.
"Why do I care if a cat believes me or not?" Void replied instantly, only to regret it. He had been a powerhouse for so long that he subconsciously thought himself invincible.
Beerus' smile had already vanished. "Hm," Beerus muttered, and then... boom!
Void punched out, defending himself against Beerus.
He remembered Beerus once claimed he used ten percent of his strength, but truly, it was far less when fighting Son Goku. And now? How much strength was Beerus using?
Void didn't know, but damn—his bones creaked. "Master!" Alayot called out and attempted to kick Beerus, but he was too slow.
Beerus instantly appeared above Alayot's head and kicked him down.
Boom!
"Sigh, so full of violence," Whis said, shaking his head as he sat down on a chair with a table before him. He decided to taste the food he brought while being entertained by the three.
Void looked at his bleeding fists and then at Alayot, who was climbing out of the crater. Despite this, Void felt exhilaration.
The thrill of finding someone stronger—the warlike nature of demons was fully on display.
"Hahaha, Beerus! I thought you could punch harder," Void suddenly taunted, and Whis raised an eyebrow.
"Hmm, I think Lord Beerus will get a good exercise," Whis commented as Beerus appeared directly in front of Void and flicked his forehead.
"Slow. I'm not as weak as that mortal," Void said indifferently as a terrifying aura erupted from him. Even Beerus' planet trembled slightly.
The aura spread rapidly, reaching the Kai's world.

North Kai's World
"What's this terrifying aura? Is Beerus-sama releasing his power?" King Kai wondered in shock.
"No, no… it's filled with pure chaos, not divinity," King Kai realized in fear. He dreaded that another being, stronger than even Majin Buu, had appeared. But why was this being on the God of Destruction's planet?
******
The aura expanded, covering Universe 7.
Planet Earth
Goku and the others were gathered, discussing recent fights when they felt the suffocating aura.
"What… what's this? Is this Lord Beerus' aura?" Vegeta asked in shock.
"No, it isn't. I've felt his aura before. This one is chaotic… like chaos itself," Goku replied. His body and the others' trembled under the immense pressure.
"Then whose aura is this?" Piccolo asked, equally shocked.
"Wait… if it isn't Beerus' aura, then could it mean…" Vegeta trailed off, his eyes narrowing as he clenched his fists.
"Those two strange beings…" Goku said.
Back at Beerus' Planet
Seeing the aura released by Void, Beerus smiled. He had been angry at the insult, but all that faded as he recognized Void's strength. Now, this was a warm-up.
Not wanting to disappoint his master, Alayot also released his aura. The terrifying energy accompanied Void's, and seeing this, Whis knew he had to intervene.
With a light tap of his scepter, a glowing green shield enveloped the small planet, instantly neutralizing the two auras.
"If your strength impresses me, I might let you live," Beerus said indifferently.
"I'll be sure not to disappoint you," Void replied, now more cautious with his words.
Despite the system assuring him that Rank 4 beings couldn't kill Rank 3 beings like him, Void still avoided provoking them. The Dragon Ball universe's power system was vastly different. Martial arts formed the foundation, and laws only applied to higher beings. Unlike Void, who embodied multiple forms of power, Dragon Ball's beings specialized in unique branches.
In response to Void, Beerus released a terrifying aura of his own. Void and Alayot instantly frowned—not out of respect, but fear. Their combined aura was like a drop in the ocean compared to Beerus'. Yet, Void couldn't help but feel more excited.
Unable to contain himself, Void appeared in front of Beerus and punched. Without hesitation, Beerus retaliated.
Boom!
A massive shockwave erupted, capable of vaporizing a universe. Yet, when it reached Whis, it caused no harm to him or his table and dishes.
When it reached the edge of Beerus' planet, it collided with the shield and was immediately neutralized.
At some point, Alayot sneaked behind Beerus and delivered a punch to his abdomen. It connected, sending Beerus flying.
Anyone witnessing Beerus' face at that moment would be stunned. He wasn't in pain from the attack—he was smiling. Finally, an opponent who could make his old body warm up a bit.
...Boom... Boom...
Boom... Continue your adventure with empire
Shockwaves spread out, each more terrifying than the last, yet an angel could be seen eating calmly.
"Oh dear, I almost forgot to save some for Lord Beerus," Whis said in shock, putting a hand to his lips.
"Come on," Beerus taunted, grinning widely, his aura shaking the very fabric of space.
Void gritted his teeth, his clothes tattered, a trace of blood on his lips. Beerus had beaten him almost to oblivion, and the destroyer looked like he was thoroughly enjoying himself.
"Well done, well done," Void grunted in pain, deciding it was time to stop holding back.
With a deep breath, his law was released, and the effect was immediate.
A protective bubble instantly surrounded Whis, allowing him to eat calmly, while Beerus frowned and backed away.
Void's expression shifted to a grin. The heat emanating from his power was intense, even for Beerus, who could see the fabric of space being scorched by the flames.
"It seems you've decided to go all out," Beerus said. Shortly after, Alayot's demeanor grew serious as well, the dents on his body evidence of their struggle.
Void glanced at Alayot, who nodded in understanding.
...Boom...
Space ruptured as Void instantly appeared beside Beerus. Stretching out his hand, a sword materialized, catching Beerus off guard.
Void grinned—it was a deliberate move to keep his weapon hidden until now for a sneak attack.
As Beerus frowned and prepared to dodge, his mind suddenly wavered. His movements slowed just enough for Void to land a blow. Alayot has used his soul law to attack
...Boom...
Smoke rose into the sky as Beerus crashed into the planet.
"Hahaha," Void laughed, slipping the sword back into his system inventory.
"Again," he said, entering the crater where Beerus had landed, with Alayot following close behind.
...Boom... Boom...
The battle shifted, becoming more intense as Void and Alayot managed to counterattack. Eventually, Beerus grew tired and resorted to using his law.
"Hakai," Beerus said calmly, the destructive energy hitting Void's body.
As Beerus observed the demon, he was astonished. Void's body was incredibly durable, his strength wild and untamed. He already possessed the basic power of a destroyer. Even though Beerus was stronger, he had to admit that Void's fire law was terrifying.
The fire's temperature could shift unpredictably—turning scorching heat into freezing cold—making Beerus sluggish at times, which allowed Void to land some solid blows.
...Boom...
"Aaargg," Void groaned as Beerus shifted his attention to Alayot.
"Right now," Alayot said, releasing his soul attack.
It struck a mental barrier in Beerus's mind, but it was enough to slow him for a moment.
Alayot soon realized, however, that what he hit was only an afterimage. Beerus's punch was already inches from his face.
...Boom...
Alayot swung back, but his attack hit only air.
"Too slow... yawn," Beerus remarked, using his tail to knock Alayot to the ground.
Alayot landed right where Whis was eating his food.
"Oops," Whis said, disappearing and reappearing a few meters away.
"Wow, almost died," Void said with a grin, opening his palm to reveal the destructive energy of Lord Beerus.
To his surprise, his fire law had directly devoured the Hakai energy.
"Good, but it's over," Beerus said with a smile, his face appearing right in front of Void's.
Grinning wickedly, Beerus punched Void in the gut.
...Boom...
Void spat out blood, clutching his stomach as he fell to the ground.
Satisfied, Beerus turned to Whis and shouted in irritation, "Whis!!!"
He glared at the angel, who was lounging with a bloated belly, surrounded by plates and wrappers from the feast he had just enjoyed.
