Chapter 175: Su yiren dream
"Hahahah! Kai, you're getting soft… go for the kill," Muchen laughed out loud as a punch grazed his face. Blood dripped, but the wound healed instantly.
"He's stronger now?" Kai thought with a frown, putting some distance between them.
"First, he's alive. Secondly, he's stronger. And third… that strange aura around him."
"Muchen, what have you become?" Kai asked, narrowing his eyes. Muchen merely grinned.
"I've become you," Muchen said, baring his teeth in rage. His eyes turned cold, filled with murderous intent.
"You bastard… do you even know how many people you've killed?" Muchen asked angrily.
"If they died, they weren't strong enough," Kai muttered, further fueling Muchen's fury.
"Kai, the immortal Chen Clan treated you like family. Yet what did you do?" Muchen asked coldly.
"Killed them all. Oops… missed one. You," Kai said with a grin, causing Muchen to laugh.
"Hahahahahaha… Hahahaha… Hahahaha…"
Space ruptured as Muchen's aura surged, freezing time.
"Kai… you killed me. You killed so many. You broke the Immortal World… You devil," Muchen said, strangely smiling.
"Awww… and so what?!" Kai shouted as time resumed and space cracked.
"I may be nothing now… but your death is coming soon. I promise," Muchen said before vanishing completely—his presence entirely erased.
Even if Kai wanted to follow, he couldn't.
He shook his head and reappeared in his house.
"I'm off," Bloodt8 said as Kai nodded.
Kai sat on the couch and sighed.
"Fuck," he muttered, grabbing a glass and downing it in one gulp.
"I should've killed you, Muchen," Kai growled, then slumped back and relaxed.
"Baby!" A sweet feminine voice called out as the door burst open and Su Yiren entered, smiling brightly.
"Wow, you're cheerful. I assume there's good news from the check-up?" Kai asked, raising a brow as Su Yiren nodded and gave him a peck.
"Kai, you have a bloodline," Su Yiren said, and Kai frowned in confusion.
"Jeez, how did I marry an idiot?" Su Yiren sighed.
"I mean, you're going to be a father," she added.
Kai's frown disappeared, replaced by a bright smile. He laughed.
"Yes, baby… this is wonderful," he grinned, lifting her up joyfully.
"Celebration tonight?" Su Yiren asked as he held her.
"Definitely," Kai smiled, carrying her into the bedroom.
Time passed and night fell.
Kai lay beside Su Yiren, who was sleeping peacefully.
"Time is running out again," Kai said softly, his eyes opening. He got out of bed.
Outside, around the house, half-meter-tall glowing insects illuminated the surroundings.
Kai stood by the railing with a gourd of wine, sipping slowly and savoring the taste.
Back inside, Su Yiren stirred. Her body trembled as sweat rolled down her forehead. Her breathing quickened.
She had just awakened from a nightmare—one terrifying and vivid.
In it, she was trapped in ruins. A red light engulfed everything. Something grabbed her neck and lifted her. She couldn't see its face, but the air was thick with screams, wails, and a nauseating stench.
Then it killed her… in the most gruesome way.
"Kai…" she called out weakly after minutes of shock. She stood, sensing his presence outside.
She found him drinking quietly, but before she could speak, Kai appeared beside her, wrapping an arm around her waist.
"It'll be okay," Kai said gently.
Su Yiren smiled, but it was stiff.
"What's wrong?" he asked as she hugged him tightly.
"I don't… want to lose you. Promise me you won't leave me," she said, her eyes tearful.
Kai felt his heart ache. He sighed and whispered, "I promise."
"Besides, babe… who else will enjoy that soft ass apart from me?" Kai added, trying to lighten the mood.
"Idiot," Su Yiren puffed her cheeks, but smirked.
"I always win though, even after all your teasing," she said proudly.
"Cute. But you always pass out first, while I could keep going," Kai grinned. "Male pride must be protected. Our ego can't crumble!"
"Liar," Su Yiren huffed.
The couple returned inside, preparing some snacks. Kai took the time to choose healthy veggies and herbs for her—after all, she was carrying his child.

The Next Morning
Day began normally for Kai and Su Yiren as they continued their beautiful journey. But elsewhere…
"How strong is he?" a feminine voice asked. A figure with nine divine tails and a sultry body stood, her aura commanding.
"Terrifying…" Muchen replied, collapsing to the ground, his breath weak.
"If not for Montel's sacrifice, we all would've—" the nine-tailed woman began but trailed off.
"Enough… my brother is alive," Mov said indifferently. The others fell silent, accepting the words for now.
"But when will the battle end? We keep losing, no matter how many times we go into the past," Muchen said, still recovering from his injuries. Kai had held back—or he'd be dead.
"It's simple. He's also telling his past self everything that happened," a calm voice echoed.
A new figure stepped out—Li Hai, the protagonist of the world. He smiled knowingly.
This was their 500th trip to the past… and the final one before the reincarnation talisman crumbled.
In the first life, after Kai did the unimaginable, many had sacrificed their lives—including Montel.
Some managed to return immediately, others much later—on the 5th, 6th, even the 100th reincarnation. But Montel… never came back.
Each time, they lost. Each time, Kai killed everyone—including Su Yiren.
Even if they warned her early, she fell for Kai too deeply. She wouldn't leave. And the world wouldn't believe them.
Li Hai unrolled a scroll as he sat down.
"What is that?" Muchen asked in shock.
"A summoning portal… to another realm," Li Hai answered.
Gasps followed.
"Wait, we get to go to another world?" Foxy Tail asked, as Li Hai smiled and shook his head.
"No… I found this in an ancient ruin. It connects to the Abyss and summons a demon of some sort," Li Hai replied, causing everyone's expressions to turn solemn.
"A demon? Isn't that extreme? I mean, another race known for destruction?" Mov asked as Li Hai nodded.
"It is. And that's why it will be our last resort," Li Hai said, as Foxy Tail spoke up.
"How strong will the demon be? If it's too strong, then we're all doomed," she said, her voice laced with concern.
"I've studied it. The record says it can only summon a young demon, and that demon would range between the Immortal King Realm to the Immortal Emperor Realm—so relax," Li Hai said, and everyone sighed in relief.
"If we can't defeat him this time… then we'll release that thing. Let a demon fight a demon," Li Hai said, and everyone gritted their teeth in frustration.

At the Abyss…
Void grinned as he asked the system a question.
"System, how old am I?" Void asked curiously—after all, he never bothered to keep count.
(Four years. Host is four years old.)
"Wow… wow, how so?" Void asked, surprised.
(Our age is based on Abyssal time. Meaning only four years have passed here.)
"Ah, I see. So the whole Abyss is four years old?" Void asked again.
(No. The Fourth Abyss is four years old. The Third is two years old, the Second is one, and the First Abyss is half a year old. The Fifth Abyss, however, is at least one thousand years old.)
Hearing that shocked Void. The Abyss didn't just have a different time flow from other worlds—it had differences even between its layers.
Basically, the time flow in the Fourth Layer was four years… yet demons had lived thousands—if not hundreds of thousands—of years outside of it. Still, based on Abyssal time, that was their real age.
"System, with all the years I've spent outside, how old should I be logically?" Void asked.
(1,020 years.)
"I see. That's what those beings from other worlds would think… but I'm just a four-year-old baby. Hahahahahaha… wow. Unexpected," Void chuckled. "Four years old and already at Rank 3 Quasi-Middle Level… am I a monster or what?" he grinned as he awaited his slaves to break through and rise in rank.
