Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 199: Getting to know about the original sins 1

"He is so charming..." Liya murmured as she daydreamed about Caius, meanwhile at the arena…

Caius was gasping for air as he watched the ongoing battle. It was chaotic and devastating, with the loud sounds of explosions and screams of pain. Blood flowed freely.

This one-hundred-man battle royale was truly a well-thought-out plan.

Caius smiled wearily as he stood straight. He wasn't injured—just out of breath. He had to fight.

His current rank was merely at the Peak Legendary Being level. Outside, in a single universe, he was somebody. But in the vast multiverse, a Legendary Realm being was nothing more than an ant.

He was only respected and honored because he was the bastard eldest prince. But something had changed after the third trial. Everyone else had changed.

They fought to kill now. They didn't care that he was the eldest prince. He didn't blame them. Even he felt that the emotions he once had—those faint ties to the royal family, born from his low self-esteem—had finally snapped. He didn't care about anyone's life or death anymore.

It was as though he was isolated from the world.

Still, even though he felt that way, there was one person who could still make him breathless just thinking of her—speechless when he saw her.

Liya.

"Seems our love runs deep into our very souls... this trial can't change that. Hahaha... nothing can destroy true love," Caius thought, amused as he looked around. Then, suddenly, his heart skipped a beat.

A beautiful lady sat cross-legged, floating a few inches above the ground. Her sword lay on her lap as she rested her face on her right hand, gazing at him. Her long white gown gracefully covered her body, yet her curves were still clearly visible at a glance.

Slim waist. Thick, voluptuous figure.

And that beautiful face... she was captivating, especially with that small smile playing on her lips.

Cute.

"Ah... wait... what was I thinking about?" Caius was stunned as he looked into her eyes. Even if they were thousands of meters apart, in this arena space, distance meant little.

To see someone from thousands of meters away wasn't an easy feat, but at least Caius was at the Legendary Realm. He was strong. As for Liya—she was at the Peak of the Planetary Level.

She could see him and everyone else clearly, even from a light-year away.

"I love you."

Caius watched as Liya mouthed the words. He became flustered.

"What's she doing...? This is a battle for survival. She should be—" Just as his mind raced with thoughts, Caius suddenly tensed and dodged to the side.

A blade slashed past him.

"Shit!" Caius cursed as he backed away.

Glancing again at Liya, he saw that she seemed to enjoy his performance. She even waved at him.

"I shouldn't be worried about her but about myself. After all, she's the daughter of the Duke of the Army. To top it off, she's at the peak of the Planetary Level. Who can beat her in that arena?" Caius felt relieved all of a sudden and smiled as he faced his attacker.

She had a small frame—anyone might mistakenly think she was a child. But Caius wasn't so sure.

"Wait... how old are you?" he asked, confused by his own question but unable to hold it in.

No matter how anyone looked at her, she appeared to be a child—so how could she be here?

"Two hundred years." She replied frankly, and Caius felt a chill run down his spine. Crazy physique...

But Caius would never be kind to his enemies. He had been taught since young and had long understood why. Besides, he wasn't foolish enough to show mercy to someone trying to kill him.

From the moment she made that first swing, they became mortal enemies—one must die for the other to live.

"Ah... he's about to fight again... Interesting," Liya's eyes flashed with soft tenderness as she looked at Caius.

In a nearby arena, a man with his face partially covered by cloth gazed at Liya.

"It seems the Crown Prince must be informed. Her relationship with the Eldest Prince isn't normal. Then again, it's to be expected—they were childhood Lovers," the man thought as he looked at Liya for a while before turning back to his own arena.

"Time to end this." He looked at the soon-to-be-dead preys still fighting for a false hope of survival.

At the Abyss...

Seventh Layer of Space…

"We won the war with the angels." A being seated high above spoke, and everyone around smiled.

The demons here were all at least Rank 5—showing just how sacred and important this gathering was.

"Congratulations!"

"Glory to our victory!"

Many demons echoed, congratulating each other as the highest-seated demon smiled, pleased with the atmosphere.

"That's good. But I want your thoughts on something." The demon's voice quieted the rest.

"Speak, my Lord," one demon responded, and the others nodded.

"My servant—a Rank 4 demon—had an encounter. I brought him here because he has something to say." The high-seated demon gestured as curiosity filled the room. They were eager to hear what this servant had to report. After all, they needed to understand their enemies.

With a wave of his hand, a smaller demon appeared. This demon was just under their height—an intentional choice to show respect. Compared to even the weakest of the Rank 5 Real Rize, this Rank 4 demon was less than a speck of dust to a universe.

None were shocked that a Rank 4 served as a subordinate. A Rank 4 being could still serve a strong master. But Rank 5 demons were a different existence—uncontrollable, terrifying, undying… immortal?

"Greetings, my lords. I honor you all." The demon bowed eloquently, and the others nodded as he began to speak.

"It's like this. A demon sent one of their servants into our abyss. I discovered this after receiving reports from my army. A new female Aeron was disturbing the peace, and she gave off a foreign scent. They confronted her. She resisted—and was strong. They applied more pressure.

"At first, I didn't take it seriously. She was merely a Quasi Rank 3 demon. But then… it got intense. I had to go personally to investigate. And then…"
