Academy’s Drunk Fighter

chapter 0 - Prologue

You know those kinds of games.
The ones with massive storylines, deep lore, and unbelievable freedom that lets you customize almost everything to your heart’s content.

A game where you can activate powerful abilities in exchange for imposing certain physical limitations on yourself.
[Dreaming World] was exactly that kind of game.
You could fine-tune your character’s appearance with incredible detail—way beyond what most people would even imagine possible—and adjust the difficulty however you wanted.

Even the way NPCs reacted changed completely depending on your choices and behavior.
I was completely hooked. Just like any other day, I logged into Dreaming World.
“Kyaha~!”

Downing some dusty old liquor I’d forgotten about in the back of the fridge—cheap crap that probably got buried under even cheaper crap—I started creating a new character, inspired by a few things that had recently left a strong impression on me.
[Curses]
Trait – Drunkard
[Your physical abilities are lower than that of an average person unless you’re drunk.]

Trait – Alcoholic
[If you go too long without drinking, your mental strength starts to drop.]
Following my own tastes—because I love alcohol—I threw in a few conditions that were half-penalties, half-gimmicks. In return, I gave the character some blessings.
[Blessings]

Trait – Drunken Fist
You can perform the Drunken Fist depending on how drunk you are.
Trait – Potion of Courage
The drunker you are, the more your personality and physical stats are drastically enhanced.
Trait – Limit Release
By placing restrictions on yourself, you gain additional random powers based on the risk.

“Whew~”
Just like that, I threw the character together on a whim.
“As for appearance—meh, let’s just go with random.”

I tossed the newly made, randomly-generated character ➤ NоvеⅠight ➤ (Read more on our source) into storage, let the rising buzz from the alcohol hit me… and passed out.
The next day—
I woke up inside the body of the character I had created.
