After kayden promised to be involved more he always comes home early he does his work at home after spending time with rose and keith it been months it's two weeks remaining for rose to give birth kayden wouldn't let her do anything or go anywhere after someone tried to kill her he remembers that day as if it was yesterday rose wanted to go out to get fresh air she felt suffocate staying in the house she was 5 months her bump was showing she informed him he told her to let the driver her but she refused and said she wanted to go alone she took a cab she went to the park first she sat at bench in the park as she watch children play around after an hour she decided to head to the mall buy to buy few clothes for the baby she went to the nearest mall little did she know someone has been following her from the house to the park now to the mall she selected few clothes and told the attendant she is going to use the restroom this time round she felt someone following her she hurried to entered the toilet cubicleand closed the door panicking and nervous she called kayden was in the office with heavy workload his phone was buried by a bunch of document he did hear it rose called again and again but kayden did pick she gave up she thought the person who was following her was gone because she did hear any footsteps she came out of the cubicle after few second she saw him on the mirror standing behind him rose turn around and saw his hand he was holding a knife his face covered by a hoodie and mask and he was wearing gloves he tried to stab rose but rose block the knife with her bag but it was yanked off and thrown aside and she was pushed hard to the ground she protected her baby with her hand he tried to stab her again and it got her leg and it started to bleed she screamed loud for someone to help her she tried to move away from him and he was following her luckly someone knocked on the door he stopped and look at the door people were starting to gather at the door rose took the opportunity and crawled to the cubicle while he was distracted and call his husband assistant max luckly he picked up and asked him for help while crying max told her to stay there they are coming.

Max rushed to kayden office without knocking kayden looked at him with a cold face because max knew he hates to be disturbed while working he looked at him again what max said made his heart to drop he looked at his phone and saw missed calls from rose he stand up from his chair and started to walk toward the door looking at his he had put tracker on rose phone max was left in the office he didn't see kayden passed him with a speed he tried to follow but he was long gone.

Kayden called and asked him where rose said she was hiding because he didn't hear where he said she is at he only heard she is in danger he didn't listen to anythimg else he arrived at the mall he didn't know how many red lights he had passed he was driving like a maniac he went straight to the restrooms he saw many people gathering he pushed through the people he heard people talking a lady has looked herself in the cubicle and she has refused to open the door and she is bleeding she said she is waiting for her husband she sounded scared people were talking without care kayden stopped listen to them and bofore he could enter the police stopped him they were already there and they couldn't they couldn't enter without risking her life by forcing the door to open so they waited rose had told them he is coming.

They asked him his name and they let him in because rose had told them his name upon entering kayden almost had an heart attack he saw the blood and in a broken voice he called rose he heard her sobbing she asked him if it's really him because she was scared.

She open the door when she saw kayden she fell unconscious holding her belly with both her hands protectively when he saw her he got angry the air got colder the police and the looker were shocked he allowed the first responders to do first aid on her before she is taken to hospital after they were done he picked her and started to walked his eyes cold no one dared to look at him he was holding her close to his heart protectively he did want anyone to touch her he carried to the ambulance on his way out he saw max he told him coldly he want to know who did it in the next 20 minutes max nodded and left too.

On his way to the hospital he couldn't stop thinking it his fault for allowing her to go alone when he knew he had alot of enemies and also not picking her calls.

They reached the hospital rose taken to emergency theatre she had lost alot blood and make matters worse she was pregnant kayden waited at waiting room he could enter the operating room he took out his phone and called the head of security to double the security no one is allowed to enter or head out while on call he saw his assistant he came to him kayden asked him if found out who was behind the attack max gulped and said no he told him he was very careful he knew were the cctv were and he covered himself very max also told kayden he was following rose from the park they looked at each and they knew it was a premeditated kayden told max to check the cctv near the house before leaving max asked kayden if he has heard anything from doctors kayden shaked his head the hurt in his eye showed clearly he placed his hand on his shoulder to comfort him and left from there to investigate more
