As days passed rose recuperated well in hospital and the baby was fine too kayden told rose how he regretted after she went in to a coma he regretted not telling her how he felt about her he regretted every moment he had thought she will leave him and that scared him he couldn't eat or sleep he regretted he didn't tell her he was in love with her he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her loving her and there babies and protecting them too although he already felt guilty not protecting her enough rose knew he blamed himself he gestured him to come closer and he hugged him and told him it's okay it's not his fault while in her embrace he asked her if she is still in love with him or she moved she separated herself from him and glare at him she told him to get and think if he want to ask that question she turn her back and pretended to be asleep.

He sigh and left he knew he messed up he found his father outside he looked at his father and sigh again his father just smirked at him he had heard everything he didn't say anything he wanted him to figure out himself he remembered he wanted to talk to him about the guy in the basement he called him when he looked up he asked him what he is planning to do to him.

Laundry was surprised by his father's question and to make the matters worse when rose wake up he had forgotten about him his father didn't allow him to answer he also said to him eric had told him he wanted to him to investigate his entire family he asked him to what he is planning to do because he can't harm innocent people for a mistake of one person he gesture him to talk now.

Kayden told him he only wanted to deterred him to tell him who hired he only told eric that because he knew he was listening and he knew it would be a matter of time for him he will start allucinating that is their chance to get him to talk he won't know if it reality or notand that time they will pretend to kill his family and that is win for that is what he hoping for.

Aiden looked at him and smirk and asked what he is going to do about rose she looked pissed at him he dropped his hand and told him he will figure he knows she can't stay mad at him kayden remembered he didn't introduce them to each other he told him to follow him to the room once he opened the room rose yelled at home to get out kayden didn't say anything that made rose to turn around and she froze when she saw the older version of his husband looking at her smiling that scared her because he never met him she only saw him on magazines and newspapers.

She was so embarrassed and kayden was making it worse by was laughing at her he stop and told his dad to meet his wife they shake hands and Aiden to kayden to grab him coffee downstairs he wanted to talk to rose alone she nodded to tell him it's okay when they were alone Aiden looked at her and ask her aren't you a special one rose was shocked to hear aiden ask him that question she didn't were he was getting at with it.

She asked him why he had asked him that question he answered aiden smiled at her and said it's the first time he had seen his son worked up she looked at him and smiled she didn't feel the need to lie so she told him the truth she had confessed her feelings to him but he told her he didn't feel the same so she kept her distance and her feelings to herself that's all and they pretended like that conversation never happened.

Aiden looked at her and was impressed and he knew she was not like the other ex wife she knows her place and he hoped she doesn't change he liked her he told to take care of each other and don't let anything to come in between them because he knows they love each other and to take care of his grandchildren his son's happiness matters and he gave her his card to call if she ever needed anything he bid her goodbye after he left kayden entered with remorseful look which made her to want to hear what he has to say now.

She pretended to turn around but he stopped her before she could he looked at her and apologized to her if his father had threatened her he knows his father very well he would do anything to get what he wants she didn't say anything he apologized for asking her for that question he should know better than anyone if she had stopped loving him it was idiotic of him to ask he looked pitiful rose couldn't help and chuckled inside she told him he didn't have to apologize for his father he did threatened her he only told her to take care of each other after that she told him she was tired she wanted to rest she wanted to see what he will do to earn her forgiveness and she will be enjoying every second of it because the kayden he knew would never apologize it's confusing for her did he change even though he confessed to been in love with her he didn't believe him that easily she didn't want to get hurt again she had little hope even though she is really in love with him she will follow kayden pace if he is serious the doctor came in and told them she will be and she should't anything heavy or get stressed her health is still weak she needs all the rest she can get
