Chapter 6: Chapter 2 The formation of the first nation

550 TCN

After the first invasion of nomadic tribes took place and is also considered the first war recorded by humans, the nomads occupied almost the entire central plain, only a small part in the southeast of the central plain still had a tribal presence, this land was previously inhabited by many human tribes but after the invasion of the tribe, many people fled to this land causing the population here to become very large.

The nomads were satisfied with their vast territory and no longer cared about this southeastern land, but they did not know that this was a fatal mistake that they would later regret.

Seeing this chaotic situation, a tribal chief named kharat Unifi invited all the tribes in the southeast to discuss whether to accept these refugees and fight against the nomads. This meeting later became known as the panamis meeting.

Then all the chiefs of the Southeastern tribes came to this meeting, this meeting took place in a wooden house in the center of the Kharat tribe, later people called that meeting place Kharatni House, when they saw the chiefs of each tribe had arrived, the Kharat tribe immediately said with a serious face:

"Hello everyone, my name is kharat Unifi, today I am honored to invite all the tribal leaders here to discuss with everyone about two issues, the first issue is whether we should accept those who will accept those refugees, please let me know your opinion"

Hearing Kharat's words, a clan leader immediately spoke up:

"I would like to put forward the opinion that we should not take in those refugees because they are too many and we do not have enough places for them to live and certainly the entire food of the remaining tribes here is not enough for those refugees."

Then another patriarch interjected and said:

"Why are you so cruel? They are all of our race, how can you just stand by and watch them die without saving them?"

Hearing the criticism directed at him, the clan leader immediately responded with an angry expression:

"What about our people? You want to save refugees and watch our people die?"

Seeing that, the remaining clan leader also spoke up:

"You think I don't have a plan, we just need to build makeshift huts and tell them to go farming and hunting, then we will have a large force to fight the nomads and get more food"

Seeing that the meeting atmosphere was becoming tense, Kharat immediately spoke up to end the tension:

"Please calm down, to solve this problem, whoever agrees to let refugees in here, raise your hand, whoever disagrees, don't need to raise your hand."

As soon as Kharat finished speaking, there was a lively discussion below. A moment later, half of the clan leaders raised their hands in agreement to let the refugees settle down. Seeing this, Kharat bowed his head and said:

"If you agree to let the refugees live here, that's fine, but let's put that aside, there's a more important matter, which is fighting the nomads. In my opinion, I want you to form a military alliance with me to help each other when attacked by the nomads. So do you agree with me?"

Hearing these words from Kharat, the clan chiefs all excitedly discussed with each other. A moment later, all the clan chiefs present in the meeting said in unison:

"We agree with the opinion of the kharat chief here."

When Kharat heard what the other chiefs said, he chuckled and said to the chiefs present:

"So today's meeting officially ends here. I wish everyone a safe journey."

After that meeting, the chiefs of this land built many makeshift huts for the refugees to live in, forcing the refugees here to hunt and grow their own food, thanks to which they had a huge amount of manpower to serve the war and food production activities later.

During this year, although there were still conflicts between the tribes, it was only a silent conflict and not a direct conflict. During these years, Kharat and other tribal leaders planned to retake the land that the nomads had occupied. This plan was expected to take place after Fifteen Years. When the preparations were almost complete, Kharat suddenly fell seriously ill.

When he was about to die, he called his son and said:

"Son, it seems I am about to die. I called you here to pass on the position of clan leader to you and fulfill my unfinished dream... to reclaim... the land... that has belonged to us since ancient times."

When kharat completed his instructions to his son, he died. He was thirty years old. He was buried behind the kharatni house along with many belongings. His son strictly forbade anyone to enter the house. If anyone dared to disobey, they would be killed.

His son Kagian Unifi later inherited the position of patriarch at the age of ten and continued to carry out the unfinished plans of his late father.

After his father's funeral was over, seven days later, Kagian gathered all the chieftains of the tribes and said:

"I am the son of Kagian, the late son of Kharat. I have gathered you all here for a purpose that you all must know, to carry out my late father's will, to reclaim the lands that the nomads have stolen from us. So everyone, follow me and reclaim what is yours."

Then a huge army of about twenty thousand soldiers marched north, when they reached the Glaciconsa River, many chiefs found the water very strange today, the water only reached their feet, but on other days the water was so deep that it was difficult for a normal person to cross, but they still could not explain this phenomenon, so they still crossed.

When Kagian saw that the chiefs of the other tribes had reached the middle of the river, he smiled and took out a conch from his bag and blew it. When he heard the sound of the conch, the chiefs of the tribes standing in the middle of the river looked at Kagian and were very surprised. One of them said:

"Hey, why are you blowing the whistle?"

As soon as he finished speaking, a strong stream of water flowed down from upstream. Seeing this, the clan leaders were all scared and wanted to run towards the shore, but it was too late. The strong stream had already drowned all the clan leaders standing there.

Kagian then looked at the army that was confused by what was happening before their eyes and said:

"I call myself the god of this river. When I saw you being massacred by the nomads, I saw the actions of those nomads and could not accept it, so I reincarnated as the son of kharat to save you. But those tribal leaders did not feel proud and even dared to despise me, so I punished them. So will you obey me or do you want to be like them?"

When the army was confused and did not know why such a raging stream appeared, they heard Kagian say that he was the god of this river. The people believed him and knelt down and said:

"We swear allegiance to the great god of the Glaciconsa River and will do our best for a great god like you"

All of this was part of Kagian's plan. A few days ago, he sent his men to the upper reaches of the river, and used sandbags to block the water upstream, slowing the flow of the river, so that the water downstream only reached their feet. When the tribal chiefs reached the middle of the river, he blew his trumpet to signal the soldiers upstream. When they heard the trumpet again, the soldiers took away all the sandbags, causing the water to rise and drown the people in the river.

To ensure the secrecy of the mission, Kagian only asked his closest people to carry it out without revealing it to any of his relatives. Therefore, Kagian's soldiers were also very surprised at what happened. Because of such an absolute secret and the inexplicable phenomenon that just happened, everyone believed that Kagian was a god who appeared to help them.

He then led his newly subjugated people to conquer all the tribes in the Southeast without losing a single soldier.

He then founded a new kingdom called Hephainattot, which means Kingdom of the Great River God, and he later named himself king hiphenat I, Meaning king of the lands
