Shi Lang heard the question from Shi Ting's mouth and he smiled before replying, "My name is Shi Lang, and I am your eldest brother. I apologize that I was not here when you all were dealing with so much."

The young lady shivered, she looked around in disbelief, after all, she had just woken up and it was not easy to connect with a man who is standing before you and claiming to be your big brother. Yes, they have been told stories of his heroics and struggle, but those were all legends and over the passing of time many of the memories have faded from her mind. They were all akin to a blur.

Shi Lang sensed this, and said, "You should go and take some rest, we will talk when you are properly out of the sequalae of the Cryo-Sleep."

Shi Ting instinctively nodded and Shi Lang said, "Mei, look after her. I am going to interrogate someone."

Hao Mei nodded in understanding, her gentle temperament would allow Shi Ting to relax and calm down sooner. The young man left and Shi Ting looked at Shi Kai who was standing next to her and asked, "Are you Xiao Yen?"

Shi Kai bowed his head and said, "Grand Aunt, I am Shi Kai, Shi Yen is my father."

Shi Ting nodded and tried to think about somethings, and Shi Kai said, "Great Aunt, how about you first rest in the garden and my father will come over to talk to you."

This was the second reason why Shi Lang excused himself, he didn't want to be the one to break over the situation of the family to her. Initially he thought that the family would be prosperous, but now he found out that was not the case. There were a few dozen people who were still serving in the federal military, but they were not that highly decorated, it could be because the skill difference between the people had vanished, or it could be that the General Council of Federal Government wanted to de centralize the power which was handled over by the Shi Family.

Shi Lang was not against it, as long as they didn't harm someone deliberately, he would not take any actions in retaliation. The Terran stood inside the isolation chamber, and he looked at the lady sitting on the chair. She was unconscious, and Shi Yen was running her details through the system, however, the result didn't give them any important information. The young man said, "Xiao Yen, go and handle Ting. She is awake but her mind needs someone familiar to handle things."

Shi Yen nodded and left the isolation room. Shi Lang watched the lady with his hands behind his back and after a few minutes, he said, "Are you really not tired of pretending of being unconscious?"

The lady opened her eyes, she was surprised to see Shi Lang and mumbled, "Supreme General Ace?"

Shi Lang raised his brow and he said, "Hmm, it appears that you recognize me very well. Now, tell me why you are aiming for my family."

His words were not a question but they were a command. The lady shivered, because she felt that Shi Lang was watching every single cell of her body. If she dared to lie, she feared obliteration. She took a deep breath to calm down and said, "My name is Amare, I am the only survivor of the Caldor Royal family. My family was assassinated by your Sister Shi Ting."

Shi Lang raised his brow and then he directly cast the Shura Illusion on Amare. The lady said, "Shi Ting, how dare you come out and face me like you are some heroine? Have you forgotten how ruthlessly you killed my entire family? You bitch, you deserve to die."

She paused and said, "Do you think that only you have a cryo-pod? I was also sealed in a cryo-pod so that you cannot detect me. When I woke up and received the messages left behind my family and your destruction became my goal."

Shi Lang frowned, this lady was completely taken over by the heart knot of revenge. He could have solved this thing by directly killing her. However, this was not his karma. This was something that was for Shi Ting to manage. He sighed, and then asked, "How did you find out the information of this planet?"

Amare replied, "How else, I bribed an officer of the so-called special division, but that bitch didn't break, so I tortured her till she gave up. She consumed seven months of my time, only then did I find out about the peripheral coordinates of this place."

Shi Lang's gaze turned cold, but he reined in his temper. He waved his hand and knocked out the woman, this time for real. He placed seals on her central nervous system and then left the room. Outside the room, he found Yu Xeidi and Xiao Meng waiting for him.

The two of them flinched when they sensed his cold aura, and Xiao Yu raised her brows as she asked, "Who angered you so much?"

The Terran blinked his eyes and controlled himself and said, "Nothing to worry about, the lady inside, I want you to watch her, okay Xiao Yu?"

Yu Xeidi took out her epee and stabbed the tip in the ground as she said, "I will make sure that she is inside."

Shi Lang nodded and said, "Well, I am going to look for your aunt, later we will go to visit grandma and grandpa, there we will hold the adoption ceremony and add the surname Shi in your name after their blessings."

The two girls smiled and Xiao Meng said, "Thankfully, I had contacted my Grandma before coming over and told her what I wanted to and she supported me completely."

Shi Lang patted their heads and then he located Shi Ting, he approached the garden but didn't go inside the pavilion. He could hear everything they were talking about. Shi Ting was asking about the closer members of the family, and after a few minutes she shed a few tears. Shi Lang leaned against a wall and said, "Amy, we were supposed to strengthen your ties of karma, but look at this, it's like I am getting more entangled with it all."

Amelia appeared beside him and she leaned against his shoulder as she said, "It is not about entanglement or liberation, Supreme Shi Lang, it is about remembering that even if you are sitting at the highest pedestal of the immortal realm, you are but a human and as a human you should always stay true to your path and always have a place of compassion and humbleness in your heart."

Shi Lang nodded and then he look towards the pavilion, only to find Shi Ting looking over to their side. Hao Mei smiled and beckoned the couple over, and Amelia said, "When you used to say that it would be hard to find a man for Mei, I used to think you are too jealous, but looking at the four daughters, I am sure none of them have any thought of getting married at the moment, and at least for the next few centuries."

Shi Lang shrugged and said, "They need to be worthy to earn their love, and I am not stopping them. It is their life, they have the right to decide how they live, as long as they are not walking down the wrong path I will not bother them."

Amelia smiled, and they reached the pavilion and Shi Ting observed Shi Lang with great scrutiny, and then she tried to smile as she bowed, "Greetings, Big Brother."

Shi Lang flickered from his position and appeared next to her, as he helped her raise her head and gently said, "Are you going to treat me like an outsider, Ting?"

Shi Ting had an embarrassed expression on her face, and Shi Lang asked, "How come Mum agreed to you having an oriental name? I thought she wanted the girls to have Latin names."

Shi Ting replied, "Oh, that's true, she named me Maya, but then she got very emotional and everyone decided to call me Ting as a nickname. I was so used to being called Ting, that they even registered it in my ID, and this I am Shi Ting."

Shi Lang chuckled and said, "Do you know what they wanted to name me?"

The two people began to converse and the others sat around them listening to their anecdotes. Shi Lang told them about the life of their parents before they started cultivating and how the world used to be like, and Shi Ting told him about the two siblings that were no longer with them. Shi Lang was upset but he was not angry.

After a couple of hours, the young man said, "Let's go, we need to pay respects to the parents and I also want to introduce them to my kids."

Shi Ting realized that Hao Mei was really her aunt and they stood up to leave the pavilion when Xiao Meng came over and said, "Ummm, Baba, that lady in the room, she was bad mouthing you, and I think big sis is about to explode in rage."

Shi Lang mumbled shit and vanished. While Amelia said, "Can you two tame your sibling? Look at her always causing trouble."

Hao Mei looked down on the ground and said, "Ma, Xiao Yu has taken after Baba."

Amelia sighed and said, "Yes, she has."

Shi Ting chuckled and said, "Guess, this runs in the family."
