Across the Multiverse with Entry System

In the vast white space, between the living and dead.

A soul wandered with no destination in mind.

Unknown time had passed, and the flickering soul slowly gained sentience.

"Where am I? Who am I? What am I?"

Questioning its existence.

It was confusing to 'see' the place.

Suddenly, fragments of memories rush into its mind, assembling into pieces as it gains clarity and wisdom of what it was or who it was.

"I am Clark, a native of the Philippines. But, where am I?"

Like a lost lamb, he was searching for an answer in his mind but couldn't answer.

He knew he died and the answer seemed to be stuck.

Like a curse he can't utter, a forbidden word coming from the depths of hell.

He can't answer his question despite seemingly knowing.

"What's happening? My memories... Are broken? Why?"

Clark muttered, even though he couldn't hear.

Before Clark could process everything of his memories. A sudden light suddenly engulfed him.

Somewhere in the Universe, a blue planet, patched with mostly green land can be seen.

A small meteorite was heading towards the planet.

This planet housed myriads of animals and insects, from grasshoppers to large land mammals like elephants.

Humanity holds the most dominant power with its technologies, guns, grenades, tanks and aircraft.

Still, having such power means those in the higher hierarchy, like kings, lords, and presidents.

Greed took over them with a few who did not engage in something like war, like Wakanda.

To maintain their peace, people, choose to isolate themselves away from the civilizations despite having the means to join the fray and get more resources.

Well, with their vibranium, means that they are the richest country on Earth.

With the high technology they possess, can contend with any country and surpass most if not all countries.

Now, the small meteorite sized like a larger fist size entered the barrier that hides Wakanda like it was nothing.

The barrier ripples before going back to normal while the meteorite has already crashed into one of the corners of Wakanda.

A black liquid seeped out of the meteorite as it frantically tried to find living beings, as if sensing something.

It directly lunged itself towards the curious rhinoceros, enveloping its face as it headed inside to form a symbiotic relationship.

The rhinoceros can't even roar at it and it felt its throat getting stuck before succumbing.

Since he doesn't have the power to resist it, the black substance becomes the dominant one in this symbiosis.

'Have I become a symbiote?'

Yes, this symbiote is Carl, arriving at Wakanda and possessing the Rhinoceros.

Looking around, Carl finally noticed where he was, a place with vast green land with trees all around and rhinoceros eating and gathering.

Before he could thoroughly enjoy the scenery, a sudden transparent screen appeared in front of him.

[Host had successfully bonded to a living entity, Entry System has been activated.

This system will only show you the functions and will cease to communicate upon completion.

Here are the functions of the Entry System.

Status: You can see the status of yourself and your entries successfully extracted.

Inventory: This can store the DNA of a living entity for you to extract. Exclusive only for DNA.

Descriptions and Usage of Entry System: Entry System is a system that extracts the DNA of a living entity once per day and it will only work once on the same living entity.

Once it has been extracted from said living entity, you cannot and forever will be unable to extract it once again from said living entity.

Carl who was confused immediately tried to communicate with the system asking where he was and why he became a symbiote.

But, true to its words, the system ceases its function to communicate as soon as it finishes the job.

Now, Carl was staring at the screen.

Not knowing where to go forward.

Being thrown to an unfamiliar place without prior knowledge makes one lose. Carl only had himself in this vast world of Earth, both familiar and unfamiliar to himself.

'Am I in the Marvel Universe? Is it comics or MCU? I don't have any knowledge of comics and I am limited to the MCU at all.

I don't even know how Spiderman of Tom Holland got his powers as they didn't even mention a place where he got it.

I don't even know what year I am being thrown.'

Carl was in a dilemma, with his rhinoceros body breathing heavily.

Panicking at the thought of all the celestial beings that can easily destroy Earth, the mad titan Thanos with his infinity gauntlet with a snap of his finger, wiped out half of the universe's population and the Asgardians with their Divine Powers can call upon Elements and control Death.

Carl who had become a symbiote was already in a panic as he tried to calm down. His mind overdrives from formulating a plan for his future.

He even forgot that he had a system called Entry System as he was panicking.

As a human before, being thrown into a dangerous situation and knowing full well of the dangers makes him panic as he was an average person when he was a human.

As he calmed himself, Carl finally accepted his fate for what seemed like an eternity of denial and acceptance.

He focused the screen in front of him and tried to understand it by tinkering as if it were a toy.

First, he looked at his status.

Carl was confused but he didn't dwell on it as he continued to check every function of his system.

The inventory is self-explanatory but it can only store DNA and by DNA, it means it could be from skin, nails, hair or even flesh and there is a limit of one per person a day.

Also, DNA from the dead cannot be extracted for entry.

As Carl learned of this, sigh in defeat.

After learning all of the functions, Carl finally settled on the one he bonded with and instinctively learned that around 5% of the rhinocero's strength, speed and even durability had been copied by him, making him stronger and more durable from his previous self.

Focusing his attention on the rhinoceros, Carl transformed into a black substance that covered the whole body of a rhinoceros as it growled.

Its body grows bigger and taller than it ever was, its menacing white eyes stared intently into the horizon, ready to tear everyone apart.

But it knew this is just a fleeting moment of strength as the guardian and king of Wakanda is more than enough to wrestle with it.

But Carl didn't know where he was and the one he bonded with hadn't seen the King of Wakanda at all.

He only saw black people wearing tribal clothes, making him think that he had been transported to a distant time, far away from the bustling 21st century he previously lived in.

With a thought, the black armor covering the rhinoceros retracted like it had never been there.

This time, he decided to test his entry system and try to get some entry from the rhinoceros.

As a symbiote, it was easy for him to extract some DNA from the rhinoceros as it transformed into an entry, in the form of a card before dispersing and entering his body.
