(Author's Note: Ok everyone this is the last chapter, before I bring the rest of Adventure Time Characters into the story.)

Marceline sat in the remains of the church as the sun came up. She found a dark corner and sat in it. Marceline was trying to figure out what to do now, when she saw a small beam of sunlight poking through a hole in the wall. Marceline cautiously stretched her hand into the light. As soon as her skin touched it, she felt a burring sensation on, her hand and quickly drew her hand back.

"Marceline are you ok?" Asked Linda as she and Betty appeared next to Marceline.

"Yeah I fine just a little burn. That's all." Said Marceline as she examined her hand.

The skin looked burnt, but it was quickly healing itself.

"Ok that's going to take awhile to get used to." Said Marceline.

"We need help. We need someone, with knowledge of vampires." Said Betty.

"What...about daddy?" Asked Marceline.

A worried look appeared on Linda's face. Hunson probably did possess knowledge about vampires, but that would involve going to see him in the Nightosphere. Hunson, also might try to influence Marceline into becoming the ruler of the Nighosphere. Finally Linda gave in.

"I suppose...will go see him." Said Linda.

"Alright, will go see him." Said Linda.

When the sun went down, the group made their way to a grocery store. Marceline went down one aisle, grabbed an umbrella, and saw a large sun hat, she placed it on her head and looked at a mirror. All she saw was the hat floating in midair.

The sight saddened and angered Marceline, now she would never see her reflection again. A small tear fell from Marceline's eye. Betty and Linda hovered next to Marceline and comforted her.

"It's alright Marceline." Said Betty.

"You are always beautiful." Said Libda with a smile.

This lightened Marceline's mood.

"Thanks. Now let's go to the Nighosphere and see dad." Said Marceline.

They found the chalk and bug milk and opened a portal. Marceline took a deep breath and stepped through the portal followed by Betty and Linda. The three of them found themselves on a cliff overlooking a large valley filled with volcanos and mountains. Strange creatures and demons moved about. Marceline flew above the cliff, so she could get a better vantage point of her surroundings. In the distance she saw one mountain that towered over the others.

"I guess that's where dad lives." Said Marceline as she flew towards the mountain.

Thirty minutes later they arrived at the mountain. They flew around searching for an entrance, until they found a balcony. Marceline landed on it and walked into the mountain. The inside of the mountain was highly decorated with a red rug, chandeliers, expensive looking furniture, and pictures of Hunson. At the end of a hallway there were a large pair of black doors. Marceline stepped up to them and knocked.

"Who is it?" Asked Hunson in a booming and commanding voice.

"Um...daddy it's Marceline." Said Marceline.

The doors flew open and Marceline walked in followed by Betty and Linda. The room was a large office. Hunson stood next to a large desk smiling as he walked towards Marceline arms raised for a hug.

"Hello my daughter. It's so good to see you." Said Hunson as he hugged his daughter.

"It's good to see you...to dad. I...have something to tell you." Said Marceline as she hugged Hunson back.

Hunson stopped hugging.

"Look if it's about those fries, you should know they weren't any good and I saved you the trouble by eating them." Said Hunson.

"Dad...I'm not here to talk about the fries." Said Marceline.

"Then have you come to see how your old man dose business? I'm telling you it's a good job." Said Hunson was a smile.

"OUR DAUGHTER IS HERE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IMPORTANT!" Shouted Linda.

"Ok. Ok. No need to yell." Said Hunson as he rubbed his ears.

"Marceline tell him." Said Betty as she looked at Marceline.

"I think I need to show him." Said Marceline as she used her powers to float into the air.

Hunson stared at Marceline in shock, then he noticed the bite marks on her neck.

"Dad...I had a little encounter with the King and Queen of the Vampires. They turned me into a vampire, but they weren't able to take my will away and control me. I fought them and managed to kill the Queen, and injury the King before he retreated. I came here hoping you could help me with these powers." Said Marceline as she landed back on the ground.

Hunson was shocked and impressed.

"Well daughter I have to say that I'm impressed. I've met both the King and Queen of Vampires and they are both powerful and they usually get what they want. Yet you managed to fight their influence, you destroyed the Queen, and injured the King. You've made me proud." Said Hunson with a smile.

"Um thanks dad. Is there anyway you can help me control these powers?" Said Marceline.

"But of course. You can use the gym here to master your powers." Said Hunson as he lead out of the office and to an elevator in the hallway.

They got on and Hunson, hit the down button. A few minutes latter the two of them were in a large gym full of workout equipment and other things.

"Here you will hone your powers, there's a locker room for clothes, a snack bar that will give you anything you need, and your room is on the top floor." Said Hunson.

"Whoa! Thanks dad." Said Marceline.

"You're welcome. Now if you'll be needed me I'll be in my office." Said Hunson as he went into the elevator and left.

Marceline changed clothes in the locker room and put on some shorts and a T-shirt. She then went to the snack bar and ate a granola bar. She was able to eat it, but it didn't seem to fill her up any. Marceline grabbed an apple and drained the red and felt energized.

Marceline went to the weights and lifted a few hundred pound weights with ease, she then transformed into her bat form and lifted a few thousand pound weights with ease. After that Marceline flew some laps around the gym.

A couple hours later she went to her room to showed and go to bed. Marceline pulled out Hambo and fell fast asleep.

In the office Hunson's Dark Side was speaking to him again concerning Marceline.

"You should let Marceline takeover for you. She has the powers of a vampire now. She'll be a great ruler for the Nighosphere and then you can have all the free time you want." Said Dark Side.

"I...don't know. I promised Linda I wouldn't influence her...and that I would let Marceline choose her own path." Said Hunson.

"Don't be a wimp! Your wife is dead! You don't have to listen to her. Your the dad and you get to decided what is best for Marceline. She'll be safe here if you let her run the Nighosphere. You deserve to relax and be free. Just give Marceline the Nighosphere Amulet and everything will be fine." Said Dark Side.

Hunson reached into his pocket and pulled out a purple rhombus-shaped gem hanging from a gold chain. It was hard to believe such a tiny looking thing had such chaotic power. A voice interrupted Hunson's thoughts and he quickly put the amulet back into his pocket. Hunson looked up and saw Linda floating before his desk.

"What did you say?" Asked Hunson.

"I said thanks for helping Marceline out with her situation." Said Linda.

"Oh...it was nothing. It's what any father would have done." Said Hunson.

"What was that piece of jewelry you put in you pocket?" Asked Linda.

"Oh just an old family heirloom." Said Hunson as he showed Linda the amulet.

"Ok. Well I guess I'll go keep Marceline and Betty company. Thanks agin for honoring my wishes. Goodnight Hunson. I love you." Said Linda as she floated out of the room.

"Love...you too." Said Hunson as he stared at the floor with uncertainty for the future.

A few weeks went by and Marceline improved with her powers. One day Hunson came forward with a couple of gifts. One was a pair of red boots and the other was a red battle ax.

"Thanks dad. I love these boots...and the ax is pretty cool." Said Marceline as she took the gifts.

"You're welcome sweetie." Said Hunson as he walked off.

The Dark Side whispered into Hunson's ear.

"Good you gave her a gift. Now the next day give her the amulet. She'll put it on and feel it's chaotic powers. Marceline will become chaotic and evil and rule the Nighosphere. Then you can do whatever you want." Said Dark Side.

Hunson just looked on ahead.

In her room Marceline looked at the battle ax. The vampire went over her time with her father, he seemed distant sometimes and he told Marceline more about his job. Marceline did love living with, her father, but he made her feel uncomfortable at times, like he had some kind of secret plan for her.

Marceline sighed shacking her head as she looked at the battle ax. An idea came to mind and she put the ax onto a table and started to work on it. A few hours later Marceline finished her work and looked down at the ax. Marceline had added base guitar features to the battle ax, so it could be used as an instrument. Smiling at her work Marceline picked it up and strummed it a couple of times.

"That's quite an instrument you got there." Said Betty as she and Linda appeared in the room.

"Thanks." Said Marceline.

"Is something wrong Marceline?" Asked Linda.

"It's just...I don't...I'm happy to be with dad, but he seems distant sometimes and I have this feeling his...planing something for me." Said Marceline as she stared at the floor.

"I know this is a lot to take in Marceline, but your father loves, you. I'm sure he doesn't mean to be distant and his trying to take care of you the best he can." Said Linda.

"I guess your right mom." Said Marceline as she put her guitar up and got into bed. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." Said Linda and Betty.

Linda hung around the room, while Betty decided to do a little investigating. She snuck into Hunson's office and watched him. The Lord of Evil had a small box and he was holding up a purple rhombus-shaped gem hanging from a gold chain. Betty stared at the gem and at Hunson, who seemed to be talking to himself.

"Are you sure giving Marceline the amulet is a good idea? It could corrupt her and drive he mad." Said Hunson with a pause.

Betty stared at Hunson, wondering what he was planning.

"I suppose, you're right. She dose have my blood running through her veins and she is destined to be evil. This is what's best for her." Said Hunson as he put the gem in the box.

"I have to tell Linda about this." Thought Betty as she flew away.

A few minutes latter Betty was telling Linda everything she saw and heard. Linda was shocked.

"My husband is planning to corrupt Marceline using some kind of gem?" Said Linda.

"He is." Said Betty.

"I can't believe, he would do something like this! He was supposed to honor my wishes and let Marceline choose her own path!" Cried Linda as angry tears fell from her eyes.

Betty put an arm around her shoulder to comfort her.

"It's ok. I know this is a lot to take in, but I think your husband, dose care for you and Marceline. It's just his nature is pulling him in another direction and making him do this." Said Betty.

"I suppose you're right. One thing is for sure we have to get Marceline out of here. I will not stand by and have my daughter corrupted." Said Linda.

Betty nodded in agreement.

"Perhaps it's time we visit Simon." Said Betty.

A few hours later Marceline was awake.

"Good morning Marceline." Greeted Linda.

"Morning mom. Morning Betty." Greeted Marceline.

"Marceline, me and Betty have been talking and we think it's best that you should go see Simon. It has been several months since you last saw him and his probably worried sick." Said Linda.

"Yeah it would be nice to see Simon. I miss him a lot. I'll just tell dad what's going on." Said Marceline as she headed to the door.

Betty stopped her.

"Your father is sick Marceline, he has some kind of bug and I don't want you to catch it from him." Said Betty.

"Gross. Well I'll just leave him a little note." Said Marceline as she pulled out a piece of paper and wrote on it.

Marceline grabbed her stuff, headed to the kitchen for bug milk, and opened a portal. She opened her umbrella and stepped through the portal followed by Betty and Linda.

In Marceline's room Hunson arrived and went inside, he saw the note and picked it up.

Dear dad,

went to go see how Simon is doing. Your gym helped me a lot and I enjoyed our time together.

Love,

Marceline.

Hunson stared at the note and then the box in his hands. Hunson took the amulet out, put it back into his pocket, and went back to his office.

"Don't worry man there's always next time." Said Dark Side.

Hunson went back to work.

On Earth Marceline saw Simon's large mountain home. Marceline held her umbrella up high to shade herself as she flew towards the mountain. She saw Simon fixing to go into the mountain for the day and carefully landed behind him.

"Hey Simon." Greeted Marceline.

Simon turned around and a look of joy appeared in his eyes as he walked over and hugged Marceline.

"Marceline!" Said Simon happily.

"It's good to see you Simon. I have a lot to tell you." Said Marceline.

"Dose it have to do with the two marks on your neck and you under a umbrella?" Asked Simon.

"It dose, but can we talk about this inside?" Said Marceline.

Simon nodded and they headed into the mountain and sat down onto the couch. Marceline told Simon everything that happened to her.

"And that's how I got here." Said Marceline.

"That's an amazing story Marceline and I'm glad to see you back here safe and sound." Said Simon as he put a hand on Marceline's leg.

"Thanks. Now...I'm not sure what to do. I'm a vampire now and...I'm more of a monster now then ever." Said Marceline as she looked at the ground.

"Marceline you are not a monster. A physical change doesn't make you a monster. It's what's on the inside that counts. Believe me...I know what it's like to go through a drastic physical change. Despite your change I still see the real you. The real you is the little girl I loved and raised as my daughter and I will always love you no matter what." Said Simon.

Marceline looked up at Simon, with a smile on her face and threw her arms around him in a hug.

"You really are a wise guy...and you always know what to say." Said Marceline.

The two stopped hugging and looked at one another.

"Well I'm your guardian and it's my job to protect you and love you. I'm going to help you with these vampire powers and we're going to accomplish any dream you have. It'll just take one step at a time." Said Simon.

"Can I still be a rockstar?" Asked Marceline.

"You can. You'll be the first vampire rockstar and everybody will love you." Said Simon.

The two talked for the rest of the night, with Betty and Linda watching them.

"I think Marceline is in good hands, she doesn't need use by her side." Said Betty.

"You're right. Marceline is fully capable of looking after herself and Simon will be there for her." Said Linda.

"We can still watch over her and visit her. And I can visit Simon in his dreams." Said Betty.

"We can." Said Linda.

That night both Linda and Betty visited Marceline's dream. The three of them sat around a table.

"Hey mom. Hey Betty. What's up?" Said Marceline.

"Marceline, we've decided that, you don't need use constantly hanging around you." Said Linda.

"But...I like you both hanging around." Said Marceline as some tears fell from her eyes.

"Don't cry, we're not going to be gone forever, will come visit you and Simon. We just thought it would be best to help you move on with your life." Said Betty.

"But...I don't want you to go. What if I need you...to guide me?" Said Marceline as more tears fell from her eyes.

Linda hugged Marceline.

"My dearest Marceline, you don't need use to guide you. You've grownup so much and I'm proud of you and I love you so much. We will always be watching over you." Said Linda with a smile.

Betty went over and hugged Marceline.

"Your going to be fine Marceline. Your a tough girl with a good heart, there's nothing you can't accomplish and I will always love you as if you were my own child." Said Betty.

"Thank you both. I love you both so much." Said Marceline as she hugged them tightly.

Linda and Betty smiled, before they exited the dream.

Betty went into Simon's dream.

"Hello my king." Said Betty.

"Hello my queen." Said Simon.

The two of them smiled and kissed.

"Me and Linda are going away, but don't worry will still be watching over you and Marceline and we will visit both of you." Said Betty.

"Why the sudden leave?" Asked Simon.

"Marceline is fully capable of looking after herself and she has you watching over her to protect her and care for her. She doesn't need a couple of spirits following her around." Said Betty.

"I see your point. Don't worry I will make sure nothing happens to her." Said Simon.

"One more thing. Beware of Hunson. When we were in the Nighosphere, I overheard Hunson talking about corrupting Marceline and making her the new ruler of the Nighosphere." Said Betty.

"I see. If Hunson comes here and tries to pull a stunt like that I'll stop him." Said Simon.

"I know you will. I love you." Said Betty as she kissed Simon.

"I love you to." Said Simon as he kissed back.

Betty exited Simon's dream and together with Linda they went back to Death World 51.

In the months that followed Marceline learned to adjust to ordinary life with, her vampire powers. Simon helped as best he could, but he prayed that there was something more, he could do. Then one night Simon had a dream that gave him an answer.

In the dream Simon was flying over a ravine, when he suddenly stooped and hovered in the air. A enormous golden owl appeared in front of Simon flapping it's wings.

"Answers." Said the owl as it pointed down at the ravine.

"What?" Asked Simon.

"Answers." Said the owl.

The dream ended.

Simon awoke from his bed confused, he decided to see if he could find this ravine. He told Marceline, he was going to do a little exploring and set out flying through the air. Thirty minutes later Simon reached the ravine and began searching it. He reached the end and saw nothing, he was fixing to fly to the end and turn back, when he bumped against some kind of invisible barrier.

Simon rubbed his head and held his hands up rubbing against the invisible barrier. He landed on the ground and continued to feel it, when suddenly there was a flash of light and Simon stumbled through the barrier and found himself in a strange city.

"Halt!" Commanded a voice.

Simon turned to see several green humanoid creatures wearing jeans, white tank tops, and brown bandanas over their faces. A larger figure in a thick white jacket that covered it's whole body, with eyes that resemble cut emeralds, and he was wearing a thin golden crown with a rod branching up that was set with a single green jewel set at the peak. The top of his head was a yellow-stained color hair.

The large figure stepped forward and addressed Simon.

"Tell us stranger, how did you find our city?" Asked the figure.

"I did not know about your city. I had a dream in which a large golden owl told me to come here to find answers." Said Simon.

The giant figure and the one wearing bandannas quickly exchanged a quick conversation and then turned to Simon. The large figure stepped forward.

"I am the Grand Master Wizard, ruler of Wizard City. What name do you go wizard?" Said the Grand Master Wizard.

"My name is Simon Petrikov." Said Simon.

"Not a very wizard sounding name. I shall give you a wizard name." Said The Grand Master Wizard as he studied Simon. "Hm. Ok I got it. You will go by the name Ice King."

"Ok I'm good with that. So this is a city of magic. Can you help me find something that could help me?" Said Simon.

"But of course. Anything for a fellow magic user, especially one that has been visit by the Cosmic Owl." Said the Grand Master Wizard.

"The who?" Asked Simon.

"The Cosmic Owl is a powerful deity that guides the stars and future with his wisdom. You must be of tremendous importance if he visited you in your dreams." Said the Grand Master Wizard.

"I never really though of myself as important to the universe." Said Simon as he scratched his head.

"Well you are. Now what do you need?" Said the Grand Master Wizard.

"I need all the information, you have on vampires. There's somebody important in my life going through a tough time and I wish to help her anyway I can." Said Simon.

"Very well you shall have all the information we have at your disposal." Said the Grand Master Wizard as he clapped his hands.

One of the bandanna wearing figures appeared carrying bag filled with books and handed them to Simon.

"Thank you." Said Simon.

"You're welcome and if you need to ever come back here just fly here and say 'wizards rule' this will open the barrier and allow you inside." Said the Grand Master Wizard.

Simon nodded and flew back to his home.

For the next several weeks Simon studied the books and took notes, he then started to mix chemicals and other objects together, saying a few spells and his magic he crafted a blue gem stone. He placed the gem on a snowflake shaped pendent and put it on a silver chain.

Simon located Marceline and walked towards her.

"Here's a little present for you." Said Simon as he held up the neckless.

"Awe! That's sweet." Said Marceline as she put it on.

"You look beautiful, but why don't you see for yourself." Said Simon as he held up a little hand mirror.

Marceline looked in the mirror and saw her reflection! Her jaw dropped open in shock.

"I can see my reflection!" Said Marceline in amazement.

"You can and you can stand the sun now." Said Simon with a smile.

Marceline stared at Simon in disbelief. They walked towards the front door and Marceline stuck her hand out carefully into the sunlight. To her shock it didn't burn her.

"How is...this possible?" Asked Marceline.

"The neckless your wearing is magic. I did a bunch of research and I found a way to protect you from sunlight and to give you a reflection." Said Simon.

"You did this for me?" Asked Marceline.

"Of course I did. Your my daughter and I promised I would protect and love you. You needed protection from the sun and you wanted to see your reflection, so I researched how to do it and I made a magical item to help you." Said Simon.

"Thank you Simon. I love you." Said Marceline as she threw her arms around Simon.

"I love you too Marceline." Said Simon.

The two of them stopped hugging and went out for a little walk in the sun smiling and laughing.

To be continued.
