After Stealing Hero's Mother, I Reincarnated in the Fantasy World!

Chapter 83: The most perfect girl

As soon as the girl elegantly entered, Rain could smell the faint scent of flowers coming from her.

Even in the dim lighting of the room, her bright purple hair made her stand out prominently, and her impossibly fair skin, whiter than anything else, gave her an impression of pure innocence and vulnerability.

However, contrary to her outward frailty, her movements exuded the undeniable confidence of a leader.

It was Olivia, the head of his class and the best student in this academy.

She looked around the room until her eyes stopped at the mountain of empty plates on the table, remaining fixed on them.

"Your appetite is something..."

She spoke for the first time, turning to him and smiling weakly.

"Trying to keep myself in shape."

Carelessly, Rain replied, looking her over from head to toe with curiosity.

What reason could she possibly have for being here?

Appropriate to her position, she was almost always busy. So Rain was a little surprised to see her here.

Just when he wanted to ask her about it, she suddenly offered.

"Would you like to have lunch somewhere else? My treat."

Then, glancing once more at the mountain of empty plates, she added courteously.

"The food there is much better than here."

The reason for her offer was still unknown, but Rain wouldn't refuse. Appetite comes with eating and he could always eat more. Especially around a girl like her.

"Sure."

Remembering to leave a tip on the table, he walked out with her, letting her lead the way.

Aside from her sudden invitation, she added nothing else, reverting to her usual silent demeanor.

While doing so, Rain couldn't help but think about the identity of the girl walking beside him.

If Eldorin Academy was the best academy on the continent, then Olivia was the best student in that academy.

A girl who has never left the top spot in the rankings. A monstrous genius of magical theory and an excellent duelist.

Even when it came to etiquette, her graceful and noble manners set her apart from others.

Academic performance, demeanor, reputation, appearance… her perfection was evident in all of it.

The excessive perfection of her image without a single blemish awakened dark desires in Rain. Those desires grew even more intense when he remembered that she had been a childhood friend of the body's previous owner and that they had spent a lot of time together in the past.

Perfect, Ideal.

If there was one person who fit those words exactly, it was Olivia. It was a consensus that everyone agreed on.

Rain thought so too... at least until he found out about her dirty secret. A secret that most likely no one else knew but her, a secret she wanted to hide at all costs…

Even Rain himself would never have known about it if it hadn't been for the Ticket of Opportunity from the system that he had once used.

Suddenly a slight uneasiness distracted him from his thoughts.

They had already passed a few buildings and were still walking forward through the academy grounds, but something continued to disturb him.

The thing was, there were no dining halls this way...

And remembering her words about the much better food, he couldn't help but wonder who was going to eat who.

He glanced at her with a look of doubt in his eyes.

"You're not going to take me somewhere deserted and do something… perverted to me, are you?"

She froze in place for a few seconds, staring at him unblinkingly before laughing.

"No, no."

Rain looked at her and smiled disappointedly.

"That's a shame. But if you change your mind, I prefer darker places."

Taking it as a joke, she smiled as well.

"Okay, I wanted to keep it a secret until the very end, but I'll tell you."

"We go to the faculty dining hall. Hardly anyone among the students knows about it, but it's there. And like I said, the food there is much better than the place you ate at, so you won't be disappointed."

'The faculty dining hall? Was there an even better place to be?'

Despite his training at this Academy, there were still many details he didn't know about.

'Okay, I guess it's normal for her as an Elite Class head to know about it.'

"Are we even going to be allowed in there?"

"Yes."

Answered Olivia and explained.

"The seniors have a pass to the faculty dining hall. Right now almost all the teachers and instructors are overseeing or helping with the tournament, so we'll be pretty much alone there and won't be told anything."

She seemed very confident in her words.

And as it turns out, for good reason.

After making a couple more turns through the confusing corridors of the academy, they came to one of the doors and after she applied her pass to it, we went inside.

'Wow'.

Was his first reaction.

'This Academy really discriminates against students.'

This place was on a whole other level.

If the dining hall for the nobles looked like the dining hall for the nobles, the dining hall for the faculty...

Like the Royal Dining Hall?

If not, he didn't know how to describe the place.

Everything, from the decoration to the atmosphere, was different. The walls were adorned with intricate wood paneling, and crystal chandeliers refracted the light, casting a warm, golden glow over the space. The tables were set with fine china and the air was filled with the aroma of exquisite cuisine, a stark contrast to the place Rain was in. Discover exclusive tales at empire

"Surprised, aren't you? Our principal really cares about the faculty, so the facilities and food here are exceptional."

Pleasant music and a peaceful atmosphere surrounded them as they walked. The place was bigger than it looked, while there were hardly any people here.

Olivia led him to a table by the window, which had a beautiful view of the academy grounds. Rain grinned, noticing the irony of what was happening.

"You certainly know how to treat a guy."

Rain said, his voice tinged with a hint of sarcasm.

She sat down with the grace of a noblewoman, unfolding her napkin and placing it on her lap.

Rain sat down as well, though his movements were far less graceful. Though he had learned all the necessary lessons about etiquette as a child, he preferred to be himself most of the time.

A waiter arrived almost immediately, a man in crisp, formal attire who greeted Olivia with a respectful bow.

"Miss Olivia, welcome as always. What can I prepare for you today?"

Olivia glanced at Rain before answering, her lips curling into a polite smile.

"We'll have the special of the day, thank you."

"An excellent choice."

The waiter replied, bowing again before he turned and left.

When it was just the two of them again, Olivia spoke again.

"Their cooking is always excellent, but today's special of the day is exceptional. It happens to be one of my favorites. I highly recommend trying it with their signature sauce..."

"Olivia."

The playfulness from his voice was gone, and his eyes grew sharper.

"What's your real reason for inviting me here?"
