"Cataclysm descended? Its name is actually that?" Chen Xing found the name quite peculiar.

It was rare for a monster to have such a strange name, actually being called Cataclysm descended.

"This clan had a very special innate skill that was said to be called Disaster. It could contaminate the divinity of gods. They once caused huge troubles, and it is for this reason that the clan was extensively slaughtered, nearly driven to extinction. I didn't expect them to appear again."

Shadow hesitated, not quite sure, but aware that the Calamity Clan was taboo.

"Master, the Calamity Clan might be a Forbidden Bloodline," Shadow said.

Ming Junting spoke up from the side, "According to the deductions of some experts within the country, that Cataclysm Fire might just be of Forbidden quality."

"That Cataclysm Fire was always guarding the Silent Extinguish Volcano; she can't leave for too long."

"Where is Silent Extinguish Volcano?" Chen Xing was hearing this name for the first time.

Moreover, if an Ascended was needed to guard, it indicated a great allure to those at the peak of transcendence, only with an Ascended guard would it be secure.

Of course, it was also possible that something deep within Silent Extinguish Volcano could be destroyed, and Fentian Giant City was wary that Great Xia might send people to destroy it, hence the Ascended guard. Perhaps some items inside held great benefits for the Ascended as well.

Su Lai said, "Just a day ago, a large red cloud appeared over Stone City, and then the sky began to rain down red lotuses."

Those red lotuses fell within the city, igniting the entire city.
