All Of The Worlds Will Be Mine

Chapter 14: Bad Luck: The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again

Isshiki looked down at the small red-haired child.

Elric's face was pale—drained of all color, like a corpse still standing. His wide eyes, once full of life and childish mischief, were now hollow, locked onto the bleeding body of his father lying behind him.

His tiny frame trembled uncontrollably, and when he finally managed to speak, his voice came out as nothing more than a whisper in the wind.

"W–Who… who are you…? Why did you… attack my dad?"

The words barely made it past his lips. Each syllable trembled, held together by sheer will.

Isshiki did not answer.

Instead, in the blink of an eye—without a single warning or flicker of chakra—he vanished and reappeared behind Elric.

His hand, cloaked in chakra refined to an inhuman degree, touched the back of Elric's neck.

There was no sound.

Just an immediate collapse.

Every muscle in Elric's body froze.

His limbs went limp. His knees buckled. His voice, rising into a scream that never left his mouth, was swallowed into silence.

He couldn't move.

He couldn't speak.

His mind screamed in terror, but his body refused to obey.

His paralyzed body began to fall backward—until a cold, steady hand grabbed his right wrist.

Isshiki lifted the boy into the air with ease, like one might pluck a doll off the ground.

Elric's mind reeled.

I have to call for help. I have to do something!

But nothing came out.

His mouth moved.

No sound.

His eyes darted wildly, catching only glimpses of his father—still lying in a pool of blood several meters away. His lips trembled again.

Somebody—please! Help!

Isshiki, meanwhile, looked at him with a mix of amusement and curiosity.

"You were wasting this body's potential," he muttered, his voice like cracked ice. "Such a waste…"

Then he raised his other hand.

A thin, black diamond-shaped seal burned to life on his palm—the mark of Karma.

Elric's eyes widened in horror, but he couldn't even twitch.

The Karma brand surged forward.

A searing pain burst from his wrist.

Like molten lava poured into his veins, the seal snaked across Elric's body, creeping up his arm, twisting around his shoulder, and diving into his chest.

The agony was unimaginable.

He wanted to scream, to thrash, to resist.

But his body almost like betrayed him.

He trembled violently, spasming in midair. Isshiki's hand clutched him tighter.

"You should be proud," the man whispered, "You are about to become an Ōtsutsuki. Even if it's only your body."

The Kāma mark etched itself into Elric's skin—dark, twisted, pulsing with raw chakra. A transformation had begun, not just spiritual but physical. Bones adjusted. Cells warped. DNA writhed like it had a mind of its own.

Normally, the process took years.

Decades, even.

Karma implantation was a long process.

Not because it was difficult for the Ōtsutsuki—but because the lower level creature soul were too weak to survive instant conversion.

It required months, sometimes years, for the Karma to slowly overwrite the host's DNA, chakra, and soul.

But this boy—

This vessel is different.

With Isshiki's direct chakra infusion into Elric's body, the transformation was already 90% complete in just a matter of minutes.

Incredible… this child is almost already an Ōtsutsuki.

Isshiki allowed himself a flicker of pride. The agony that wracked the boy's body, the helplessness in his eyes—it was almost beautiful.

But that pride didn't last.

Because then…

Something changed.

It began in Elric's wrist.

From the base of Elric's arm—a seal began to crawl.

Glowing faintly, intricate Uzumaki script spread across his skin, flowing up his wrist, climbing toward his chest like a snake of pure chakra.

Isshiki blinked.

He hadn't noticed it before.

But now he recognized it.

That man—the father. He was holding this hand.

His brows furrowed slightly.

It was a sealing technique. Crude… but clever. Subtle enough to go unnoticed until it was too late. And it was too late.

Crafty bastard. I ignored him because he was too weak…

It should have been ineffective.

Ōtsutsuki were naturally resistant to such things.

But now—during the Karma ritual—he was actively channeling chakra into the boy's body. It created a perfect pathway, an open road for the seal to travel into him.

And in that moment of overconfidence—

It worked.

The seal spread through Isshiki's arm and exploded inside his nervous system.

His fingers twitched.

His knees buckled slightly.

His chakra flow hiccupped—just for an instant.

But that instant was enough.

His chakra transfer stopped.

And the moment it did—

All hell broke loose.

The transformation reversed.

Or rather, it mutated.

Because Elric's original cells—those that hadn't yet been converted—suddenly turned on the foreign ones.

The boy's cells—already transformed up to 90%—the rest 10% began consuming the altered Ōtsutsuki cells, tearing them apart like predators unleashed in a cage.

Devouring them.

Absorbing them.

Evolving.

Like a pack of wolves consuming a wounded lion.

The transformed cells didn't resist.

Without Isshiki's chakra sustaining them, they became helpless prey.

Side effect of forcefully converting them to quickly.

They were torn apart. Digested.

Integrated.

"No… NO—this isn't possible!!"

Isshiki's golden eyes widened for the first time in centuries.

Why…?

"How… how could inferior cells be devouring my Ōtsutsuki tissue!?"How can weak cells consume divine ones?!

While under his chakra control, the boy's body accepted everything like an obedient puppet.

But without his chakra guiding the Karma—

The balance shifted.

Elric's body, once trembling and helpless, now pulsed with raw energy.

It's absorbing the Karma… and turning it into its own strength!?

"NO!!" Isshiki roared.

He tried to pour chakra back in—force it down, overwrite it, crush it—but it was too late.

what he found was Elric's chakra.

Vast. Roaring. Overwhelming.

Far, far greater than his own.

Impossibly vast.

More chakra than anyone on this planet should have ever possessed.

More than Isshiki himself.

He reached out again—but his hands trembled.

He felt it.

Power surging out of control.

Not from himself.

From Elric.

"Too late…"

He stared at the boy's face.

The eyes were still wide in fear—but something else now flickered behind them.

Something hungry.

Something not human—and not Ōtsutsuki either.
