Along The Path Of Vengeance(Sasuke/Mha)

The docks were quiet tonight as the Yacht's owner got off. He stroked his black mustache and walked up the wooden stairs to exit the docks when he heard three pairs of feet ahead of him. He looked up and locked eyes with Nagant. "Hello, Mr. Yakimura. I'm with the HPSC."

He straightened up and observed the three of them. The pink girl ignored his presence and glared toward his yacht while the boy did the same. 'Is that the boy from the Sports Festival?' "Did you need something?"

"Yeah, is there something you'd like to confess to?"

The man stiffened up, 'Did they find out I've been avoiding taxes with my yacht?! Wait... the HPSC wouldn't come for me if that was the case.' He relaxed and raised a brow, "No? What's the issue?"

"Your Yacht has been used as a shelter for felons for the past week at least." She crossed her arms and he internally sighed in relief.

'Thank God it's not the taxes... wait, that's still pretty bad." His eyes went wide, "Are you kidding me?"

Nagant narrowed her eyes, analyzing him. 'He could be lying... but they really could have stayed hidden this whole time too. This Yacht is basically the size of a cruise ship. Either way, he can be dealt with another day.' "No, I'd suggest you sleep somewhere else tonight. Things could get messy when we find these people."

"Wait, you can't just—"

Nagant held up a paper to his face, "We have a warrant already. This is for your own safety. Don't make this difficult."

He read the paper and grumbled, eventually walking away. The trio approached the large Yacht and Nagant asked, "Before we go, Mina, are you sure you want to do this? Me and Sasuke could take care of this ourselves."

Mina stared into her eyes, "I've never been more sure of anything in my life."

They wordlessly continued up the ramp, observing their surroundings. Sasuke gripped his blade tightly and Mina had a permanent glare adorning her face. Nagant stated, "We shouldn't rule out the possibility that they could get the jump on us. They're more familiar with this boat than us. And make sure you two stick by my side. The HPSC can help cover up your involvement, but that wouldn't matter if one of you got hurt too badly on my watch."

They nodded and went down the stairs into the Yacht's interior. All the lights were on and they came across a bar. Sasuke thought, 'This will definitely be a trap. I just have to be ready for that moment,' "Let me take the front. Trust me."

Nagant nodded, giving him way, and he walked to a path leading further into the ship when he noticed a strange glint near the floor. He peered his eyes closer and saw that it was a wire. He didn't visually react and gripped his sword tighter as he stared at his two companions and gestured toward the wire. They nodded and he purposely walked into it.

The moment he set off the wire, he covered everyone in his V3 Susanoo as frag grenades flew from the bar at them. Everyone got into fighting positions and Nagant yelled, "Stay C—

— Black tendrils shot up through the wooden floor and wrapped around her, pulling her through the floor into darkness. "Nagant!" Sasuke ran to the hole, but a Nomu went through the hole and uppercut him through the roof, sending him back on the deck up top.

Mina yelled, "Sasuke!"

On the deck, Sasuke quickly recovered and rolled out the way of a Nomu punching through the wooden floor. "So this is the asshole we gotta kill? How'd you fail the first time?"

Sasuke searched for the source of the voice and saw a white-haired man leaning on the guardrail next to a large man in black clothing with a metal tail on an elevated deck.

"He got saved last time, Hidan. But with some help of our own, he'll have no chance this time around."

Sasuke glared and drew his blade after he recognized his voice. He pointed the sword toward him, "Sasori! Where's your bastard of a partner at?"

"He should be saying hi to your pink friend about now."

"You're gonna regret going after her parents when I send you to hell. It led us right to you."

Sasori replied, "That was my fool of a partner, Deidara's choice, but it doesn't matter now, none of you are leaving this boat alive."

Nine other Nomu jumped from the elevated deck and joined the Nomu in front of Sasuke. Hidan laughed and jumped down beside them, revealing his large 3-bladed scythe. "No idea what you guys have going on, but I know I'm gonna enjoy this."

Sasuke gave him no response and dashed in, wrapped in his Savitar attire.

Down in the lower levels of the ship, Nagant broke out of the tendril bindings and spotted a stitched-up man on the other end of them. She turned her arm into a sniper and shot his arm off, backing up to take in her surroundings.

They stood inside the yacht's large dining room and she went wide-eyed as she saw Kakazu pick up his arm with no expression and put it back in place as the tendrils stitched it in place. "What the hell?" 'This guy... looks familiar.' "Who are you?"

"My name is not important. What is important is killing you or stalling until those kids are taken care of."

Her expression hardened, "Easier said than done." and she raised her rifle. Kakazu threw a round dining table at her and ran. She shot through it, narrowly missing him, and he threw more tables, closing the distance. She side-stepped and aimed a shot, but he shot his forearm out with tendrils and grabbed her rifle, pulling her off balance and going for a haymaker.

She tilted her head out of the way and detransformed her arm, then quickly transformed it again against his stomach and shot him through the heart, but to her surprise, he only grunted and kicked her hard enough to send her flying through the double doors leading to the kitchen.

She coughed aggressively and caught her breath as he entered the kitchen. Something clicked in her mind, "You're Kakazu, the villain with five hearts! Well, four now."

He cracked his knuckles before going for another strike, "Snarky bitch."

Inside the bar of the Yacht, Mina wasn't left alone for long after Sasuke was punched out of the room. "You really came here thinking we wouldn't have countermeasures if someone found us? I see you must have felt like joining your parents today. I don't blame you."

Mina responded by jolting in the direction of the voice and shooting acid at it. Deidara narrowly avoided it as it burned through the floor of the ship. His eyes lingered on the acid for a moment before turning back and receiving a clean punch to the face. He backed away and glared at her while his nose bled. She stated, "I didn't come here to talk to you, bastard, I came here to finish you off for what you did."

Deidara gritted his teeth and stretched out his hands, letting clay spiders pour out of them, "Try it then bitch, I'll make you one of my finest pieces of art to match your parents!"

Back on the deck, Sasuke weaved through the Nomu and cut them to pieces with his sword, but their regeneration made them come back seconds later. He cut the strings off the top of one's head and punched it with a large Susanoo hand into the ocean, but Sasori's puppet strings would reattach and bring it right back. Hidan joined in the fight, swinging his scythe rapidly and making Sasuke back away. Sasuke threw Kunai in his chest, but Hidan just laughed through it and went to slice him down the middle. Sasuke jumped away and thought, 'Does he have a healing factor or does he just not feel pain? This fight is getting tedious either way! I gotta end things as quickly as possible.'

Amenotejikara flashed through his mind, 'I should... use it...' His mouth tensed and he went in his V3 Susanoo. He didn't consciously deny it, but he felt like shackles bound him from freely using the quirk. 'All my training should be enough though.'

Hidan laughed, "Deidara was right. This guy is easy!"

Sasuke spammed Magatama beads at the Nomu and shot an arrow through Hidan's heart and another at Sasori. The shot destroyed most of the elevated deck and he dashed into the smoke. 'This is it!'

He prepared to slash at an exposed Sasori, but instead, he was met by a large metal tail trying to stab him. He placed his foot on top of the tail and jumped away with gritted teeth. The dust cleared and revealed five Nomu he used as a body shield already regenerating. "This Hiruko puppet was a good investment. You might as well give up."

Sasuke looked around and saw that Hidan was lying on the ground, supposedly dead with all the kunai still in his body. Sasori saw him, too, and exclaimed, "Damn it, Hidan! You're useless!"

All the Nomu ran at Sasuke again, and he thought, 'Must have just not felt pain.'

He threw a large shuriken in every direction, revealing they had wires connected; he bound all the Nomu together before grabbing them with Susanoo's arms and tossing them into the air, blowing them to bits with a barrage of Magatama beads. After that, he smirked and dashed toward Sasori again, but the smirk was wiped off his face as he felt his leg slice open from behind. He fell and slid on the wood looking back to see a completely healed Hidan laughing maniacally as he licked his blood off his scythe.

His skin turned black while a white skeleton pattern decorated his skin, "Gotcha dumbass! That was a good plan, Sasori!"

Sasori thought, 'What a monster... he obliterated those Nomu... but we still got him.' He replied, "Thanks, now finish him off."

Hidan's smile got even bigger, "Let me savor the moment first." He drew a circle around himself, and Sasuke stood up with gritted teeth, 'It was a healing factor after all! Damn it! This won't be a repeat of last time!'

Remembering how he failed last time, he dashed at Hidan, but Hidan wagged his finger, "Ah, Ah, Ah." He pulled out a knife and stabbed himself in the stomach, making Sasuke curl over, yelling in pain. He felt his stomach and there was blood on his palm.

Sasuke's breathing got heavy, and he stared up at Hidan, who laughed even louder, saying, "You're already dead, Sasuke. The way my quirk works is that any pain I deal to myself goes to you as well! Wanna see who drops dead first? Spoiler alert! It won't be me!"

Sasuke tried to stand, but Hidan twisted the knife and Sasuke's vision became blurry as he collapsed and could see a puddle of his own blood pouring out. Images of losing to Sasori and Deidara last time flashed through his mind and he felt his consciousness fade. '... Not again...'

He barely hung on by a thread on all fours as he saw a reflection of himself in his blood. All the other sounds were blocked out as he saw his own eyes. His right eye was the normal red and black pinwheel pattern, but his left eye was purple with tomoe decorating it. He froze and heard Mina's voice in his head, yelling at him about how his pride got her parents killed. He thought, '... I can't keep lying to myself anymore... Even if it's not originally mine... I need to make it mine if I'm gonna have any chance of achieving my goal.'

Everything around Sasuke slowed down as he felt his own mental barriers breaking down. He stared up at Hidan and Sasori and felt a mix of a flame and an electric spark inside himself as his purple energy flared up.

In the kitchen, Nagant weaved past all of Kakazu's attacks and landed a clean hit on his jaw, but he was barely phased and tried to grab her. She kicked him the balls and he reeled over, letting her kick him over the island. 'This guy is way too physically strong. Gotta improvise.'

She grabbed some kitchen knives and hid them behind her as Kakazu stood back up. He extended his arm and grabbed her, pulling her over the table. Once she was close, he swung down at her skull, but Nagant pulled out both knives and weaved her head out of the way of the hit while cutting a knife all the way up his arm as she stabbed his throat with the other knife. His arm hung limp, and she pulled the knife out of his arm, stabbing it into the right side of his chest. '2nd heart down!' He gargled but kept hold of her and lifted her over his head before slamming her through the marble island.

Bits of the broken marble cut through her torso, and she lost her breath as she struggled to recover. He grabbed his throat and stitched it back together along with his arm. After clearing his throat, he tried to stomp on her, but she managed to lift her arm and shot an explosive round through his stomach. It blew him through the wall of the kitchen and gave her time to recover while smoke blocked her vision of him. She got up clumsily and ruffled through her hair to make sure there was no blood. After she did she trained her gun in the direction Kakazu went. The smoke eventually cleared, revealing Kakazu standing with black skin covering his torso.

She went wide-eyed, 'He's unphased? What is that?'

As if reading her mind, Kakazu answered her, "This is Diamond Morph. Consider yourself lucky, the only other person to push me to use this is AFO himself," he cracked his neck, "You got close there, almost blew out my three remaining hearts. I'll make sure to add yours to my body once I'm finished with you."

Nagant's gaze hardened and she smirked while loading another explosive round, "Try and take it then!"

In case the locations are hard to keep track of. Here's a brief summary. The yacht has 8 floors. Sasuke is fighting on top of the boat at it's front end.

Mina is a couple floors below him, and Nagant is closer the the bottom. They are all currently at the front end Of the yacht.

Further up in the bar of the Yacht, Mina ran behind slot machines as cover while Deidara threw bird explosives at her. "Come on now! You can't avenge your parents by hiding! I'm right here!" He started molding a bigger explosive, 'She can't be much stronger than last time I fought her, but still better to stay safe and keep her away.' He threw the large bomb at the slot machines, and through the smoke a fast jet of acid shot and seared the edge of his arm, barely dodging a worse fate. Deidara grunted as he saw her sliding toward him through the smoke as fast as Todoroki.

Before he could intercept her, she closed the distance and grabbed his good arm, burning through it and reaching for his face.

He let out a shrill scream and spit a clay bird at her face. She spit acid at it, but the moment of her assault subsiding was all he needed to wrap clay snakes around her legs and bind them together, making her fall.

He backed away before setting them off, but she nullified the blast by letting out a pool of acid below her waist. She smiled and stated, "Now both your arms match."

He gritted his teeth and left more clay snakes behind him to distract her as he made a clay dragon and hopped on it, still cringing in pain as he covered the wound. 'I'll make sure to kill that bitch, even if it kills me… I hate to admit it, but close combat is a death sentence, she's way stronger than last time. I should take this fight to the deck.'

The dragon flew into a corridor and a chase began. He made some matryoshka dolls from clay and dropped them behind himself. They separated and spread out into a bunch of explosions all around her that collapsed the corridor and supposedly crushed her.

He laughed, staring into the smoke, "Well, that wasn't too hard," although the smile was wiped off his face as he saw her emerge from the smoke completely covered in acid.

He gritted his teeth as the dragon reached the back end of the boats deck, "Would you die already?! I bet those other 2 were taken out already anyway! Just like your parents I'll"—

'Acidic pierce,' inside the body of acid, she clapped her hands together, sending out a pressurized jet of acid as fast as a bullet that clipped through both the dragon's wing and his right arm.

The dragon dispersed, and Deidara crashed onto the deck, rolling while blood poured out of the huge wound.

He let out ear-piercing screams of agony while dripping at his now missing arm while she caught up.

After giving him a look over, she slowly walked towards him and glared down at him with acid dripping down her hands.

"Damn it! You filthy bitch! You think you've won?! You think you can beat my art?! You're a joke!"

She got closer, "Your art is pathetic, I can nullify anything you try; just accept your fate." He gritted his teeth and made more clay, but this time instead of molding it, he tried to eat it.

On the other side of the Yacht, Sasori yelled at Hidan, "Alright, you've had your fun; end it already!"

Hidan looked back at him, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, shut up! He's in a pool of his blood! What can he—"

Hidan suddenly swapped places from where he was standing and blinked as he stood now at the edge of the boat. "Huh? Why am I"—

He couldn't get another word in as Sasuke swept him off his feet. Sasuke took note, 'I don't feel anything, so he must need to be in that circle,' Sasuke drew his blade and cut it in half with a downward stroke through the middle. He punched the bisected man into the ocean and set his body aflame with Amaterasu. "No more regenerating for you."

Sasori blinked as he stood frozen in place, still not fully comprehending how fast the tables turned. 'He's using his second quirk again?! What the hell changed from last time??? And what was that black flame?'

Sasuke slowly turned to him and pointed his sword at him with a smile as a drop of blood poured down his cheek, "You're next."

Sasori regained his composure and readied his poison-filled metal tail, "It doesn't matter! You're still injured! You can't keep this up!"

With adrenaline running through his veins, he dashed straight at Sasori. He lunged the tail at Sasuke, and a word came to Sasuke's mind instinctively as his left hand sparkled, "Chidori."

His hand turned into a blue spear of lightning that cut through Sasori's tail and destroyed his outer puppet shell. Sasori was ripped out of the broken puppet, and without wasting any time, Sasuke drove the blade straight through his heart for real this time.

Sasori glared at him as blood began pouring from his mouth, and Sasuke slowly pulled the blade out, "As I said last time, good riddance."

Sasori tried to say something, but Sasuke wasn't interested and set him aflame with Amaterasu. For a moment, Sasuke savored the moment feeling catharsis, but he turned to the other side of the Yacht, 'Two down. I should help the others now.'

As Deidara attempted to eat the clay Mina grabbed his hand and burned it off, gritting her teeth. "Enough of that! You're pathetic!"

He growled in pain with a manic expression, "I'm not pathetic you dirty cunt! You're nothing! Just like your shitty par"—

— She stomped on his chest, pressing him against the deck, "My parents weren't shitty! They were good people, and you… you made me watch them die!"

Deidara lay defenseless with his hands missing, his only weapons Being his words. 'I can at least take her down with me.' He opened his mouth to speak, but Mina cut off any chance of talking.

Tears built up in her eyes as she went off on him, pressing her foot Harder into him, "You waited for me to get there! Specifically so I could see them die for you to laugh at me while they burned! Well, now who's burning!"

She released acid from her foot all over his chest, but this time it was a weak acid that wouldn't burn through him, but would still leave burn scars. Her breathing increased and her fist clenched as he kept yelling in pain. Her hair overshadowed her eyes for a moment, "Every night… I've been feeling helpless and hearing your stupid laugh cause of what you did… but I'm not helpless anymore, and you're not laughing now, are you?"

She glared down at him as he couldn't muster the strength to talk back. He tried to croak a laugh out of spite, but all that came were more groans of pain.

She leaned down and palmed his face, "This is for my parents and anyone else you've ever hurt."

He stared up at her with wide eyes, and she melted straight through his head in an instant like swatting at a mosquito.

Once the deed was finished, she stood up straight and caught her breath, looking down at her hands. For a moment, she felt melancholy; However, her gaze averted quickly back to the body as black veins became apparent on Deidara's headless corpse. All the veins converged on where his heart was as a mouth on his chest quickly glowed until it exploded.

Mina didn't have enough time to react, but before the radius of the explosion could reach her, she teleported to the other side of the boat next to Sasuke and witnessed the explosion that completely obliterated most of the yacht.

Their elevation quickly changed and Mina's gaze darted to Sasuke. His left eye was the purple color that made her nostalgic, although the tomoe were missing this time. Her voice softened and her melancholy was quickly replaced with happiness, "Sasuke, you're using it now?"

He nodded, "Yeah, was that explosion Deidara?"

She cleared her throat, "Yeah… I don't know how he did that after dying, but at least it didn't work."

Sasuke mentally noted. 'So she did kill him,' he nodded "Good, another target down. We can talk more about this later though; let's find Nagant."

In what was now half of a dining room, both Kakazu and Nagant stared at the now missing half of the boat. Sweat poured down Nagant's brow while her eyes widened, 'What the hell happened? Were either of them in that blast radius?'

Kakazu sighed and shrugged, "Looks like my job is done here."

He straightened up and retracted all his tentacles. She replied, "Huh?"

He replied, "If my contractors are dead, then the deal is void. I don't have a reason to be here anymore. Bye."

"Wait!"

She tried to run after him, but he jumped into the ocean and disappeared. Moments later, Sasuke and Mina jumped down and met her. She sighed in relief and asked, "Are you two ok? Are Deidara and Sasori down?"

They nodded and Sasuke asked, "How about the guy you were fighting?"

"No, he ran away right before you guys got here."

Mina replied, "That's too bad, but we'll probably see him again another day."

Sasuke said, "Yeah, let's just get out of"— Sasuke fell to his knees and felt the pain again from everything that had happened earlier.

"Sasuke!" They both put his arms around their shoulders and Nagant noticed the blood stain on his stomach,

"What happened to you?"

"I was... technically stabbed in the stomach."

"Jeez, alright, I'll take you to the agency; we have someone that can heal you there."

Sasuke sighed in relief, as long as I don't go to a hospital."

After getting off what remained of the yacht, they eventually made it to the agency while Sasuke got healed.

His stomach wound was closed, although the ache still remained. He sat around in the Lounge next to Mina who stared down at her legs quietly, "How do you feel?"

Her eyes didn't move from her legs, "I feel… somewhat satisfied… I'm not angry anymore, but there's still…"

Sasuke finished for her, "A hole?"

She nodded, "Yeah… will it ever go away?" She turned to him.

"Not completely, but It'll get easier."

She slowly nodded and Sasuke continued, "I can use four quirks now."

"Really? I thought you only had three."

"Hawks gave me a fourth one a while back… I'm not sure why, but," his left hand momentarily had blue sparks of lightning around it, "I can freely use all of them now."

A small genuine smile crossed Mina's face, "That's good, I'm just glad you finally accepted every part of yourself now."

Nagant watched from the doorway she leaned on and felt a chill run down her spine, 'Yakimura is gonna be livid about his yacht...'

There we go. Back to Joint Training next chapter. Hopefully these chapters were enjoyable although if you still hate Mina after all this I guess there's nothing I can do. She'll lighten up again eventually. Her fight with Deidara was challenging to write but hopefully all the fights were overall enjoyable.
