Chapter 14: figthing with suffering
Kon vs. Baku — Dark Dimension
Baku stepped closer, watching Kon clutch the wound near his left chest. The steel rod still trembled there, blood soaking his shirt.
Baku sneered. "Look at you now, Konsokn the Evil Magician — running like a scared dog. Where's your blood tricks now? Where's your cruelty?"
Kon just stared — silent, breathing heavy, one hand pressing the wound. He didn't answer — he didn't need to.

Meanwhile — Victor vs. Cadrit
Outside that dark dimension, Victor swung his blade against Cadrit, steel shrieking. Cadrit laughed — half of his monstrous body shredded, but still moving.
Cadrit barked, "You think it's so easy to stand there like you're clean? You forgot, huh? How you took Sayo from me? You think I'd forget? She was mine — my blood, my warmth — and you ripped her out."
Victor's eyes narrowed. "Keep her name out of your rotten mouth."
Cadrit just grinned, his broken jaw clicking. "I get her in my dreams. I get pieces of her every time you try to forget."

Fuko vs. Robiad
Fuko gasped for breath, blocking a savage strike. Robiad, the ogre with iron limbs, slammed him with another Spinal Steel Cutter — Fuko staggered, spit and blood hitting the dirt.
Fuko wiped his mouth. "You hit like a wall."
Robiad cracked his neck. "You break like glass."
Fuko whispered, "Sword Style… Blade Cutter…" — he swung wide, but Robiad caught the blade in his armored arm.
Robiad smirked. "Useless."
Behind them, Hazo clashed with Sonja — their swords and shields smashing together like thunder.

Victor's Desperate Strike
Victor's blade trembled in his hand. "Guess I have no choice…" He tightened his grip. "Sword Style… Kills of Amber…"
He lunged. Cadrit blinked — too late. A line of burning light ripped Cadrit's half-body open.
Cadrit just laughed — a sick, ragged sound. "Ahahaha… imagine that! You think that's enough? You really think I'm flesh? This body's a ghost — dead long ago. I'm only rage now."
Victor spat blood. "I expected that much, you rotting soul."
Cadrit's grin stretched wide. "Remember how it was, Victor? Remember that day?"

Cadrit's Flashback
A muddy road. A younger Cadrit — no scars yet — steps down from a creaking cart, hungry eyes searching.
Cadrit: "Hey lady — any food left?"
Shopkeeper: "Here — this is all I got, cheap."
Cadrit munches bread. Across the street, he sees a gang of drunks kicking a stray dog.
Cadrit frowns. "Hey. Leave it."
A drunk turns, laughing. "Or what? You gonna bite me too?"
Cadrit doesn't answer — he just moves. A fist comes at him. He ducks, breaks the man's jaw. Another swings — Cadrit's elbow caves his chest. Blood splatters the dirt.
The last thug stands trembling — Cadrit lifts him by the neck. "Next time you touch the weak in front of me — I'll snap your bones and keep them as a souvenir."
He drops the thug, who scurries off crying "Monster! Demon!"
Cadrit kneels. The dog limps over, whining. Cadrit sighs. "Go. You're free."
But the puppy curls at his feet. Cadrit tries again — "I said go. I don't need you."
But it stays. It looks up, tail wagging weakly.
Cadrit sighs — a tiny smile. "Damn it. Fine — come home then. I guess monsters need monsters
NIGHT]
Cadrit, still half-boy, half-beast, stands in the moonlit clearing.
His eyes are wide — staring at the shredded body of the puppy. Its blood seeps into the dirt. His hands shake.
CADRIT (voice trembling)
"You… you killed him. You killed my only… my only friend."
The witch, cloaked in tattered robes, laughs — teeth black, eyes yellow.
"A beast keeping a beast. How sweet. Maybe I'll keep you too, little monster—"
She lifts her staff — chanting in that guttural tongue again:
"Magica Vampiris… Magica Suppressio…"
Nothing happens.
Cadrit's eyes narrow.
The witch pauses — confused — then tries again, louder. The air around Cadrit quivers — but the spell breaks on him like water on stone.
He takes a step forward — his voice a growl now.
"You think your tricks can bind me? This world already bound me once. Never again."
The witch backs up — stumbles — she raises the staff to strike.
Cadrit lunges.
CRACK! — The staff snaps in two as his clawed hand crushes it like dry bone.
---
CADRIT (snarling, fangs bared)
"You want monsters? I'll give you monsters."
In one savage swipe — the witch's throat opens.
Blood steams on the cold night air.
Her final breath wheezes out — eyes wide — as Cadrit lifts her by the jaw.
