Amber of its cruelity

Chapter 8: The Clash of Beliefs

Kamino sits there, staring at Kon with cold eyes.

Kamino: "It's funny. You come here to get yourself killed? A human… or whatever evil thing you are. Killing animals for fun, eating them for taste. Tell me — why should I show you any mercy, when you never gave any?"

Kon smiles, leaning forward.

Kon: "Mercy? From you? Kamino — you kill too. Maybe not animals like me, but people. You think you balance this world? You can't. This whole earth is full of people who carry cruelty inside them. Even you — pretending to be clean. You crush insects, kill tiny lives just to grow your precious vegetables. So tell me, where's your mercy in that?"

Kamino raises an eyebrow, silent.

Kon: "Cruelty wears many faces. You do it for yourself — balance, rules, 'justice'. I do it for myself too — but I don't lie about it."

Kamino nods slightly.

Kamino: "You have contradictions. You know that."

Kon grins.

Kon: "Of course. I know I'm a killer. I like watching things suffer. I break what's called 'beautiful'. Because you know what? No one in this world stays good forever. Everyone breaks apart. No one stays together. They pretend to care — but deep down, everyone leaves."

The scene shifts — Tai, Jujong, and Freya walking back to their homeland. Tai alone at the gate, watching them go. Alone.

Kon: "See? Even so-called 'friends' drift away. No one really cares in the end. That's the truth people can't swallow."

Kamino stays quiet — listening.

Kon: "We hate each other. We kill each other. That's not god's plan — that's our choice. So I help the world show its true face. I'm selfish. I want to see beauty turn ugly. That's what makes me smile."

Kamino folds his hands calmly.

Kamino: "I've never heard a human like you. You talk like you know god."

Kon's smile widens, darker.

Kon: "This world doesn't care about us. Maybe god never did. He lets people suffer, kill, die, divide into religions and hate. He's the biggest hypocrite of all — so I'll take his place. And when I do, I'll tear it all down."

Kamino just stares. Silent. Wind moves the tea steam between them

---

Kon (calm, smiling):

"So, what's your choice, Kamino? I can help you. If you want, join me. We destroy everything, together."

Kamino (staring coldly):

"I've tasted pain. Lost friends, lost my path — orphan at fourteen. You're different, Kon. You don't fear me at all, do you?"

Kon (grinning wider):

"Fear? Nah — pain and fun go well together for me."

Kamino:

"My cruelty comes from nature itself."

Kon:

"Perfect. Join me, then. Destroy as you wish — and I'll assume the rest. Let's break it all."

Kamino lifts his hand as if to seal the deal — then suddenly slashes Kon's chest with Kunjo, his special sword.

Kon (falls back, laughs through the blood):

"Heh... Kunjo. Sharp blade — slices anything. But my body regenerates. So unless your blade cuts my mind too — I stand up."

Kamino (cold, chanting):

"Magic of Ambers: RELEASE!"

An explosion of nature energy, vapor and vines, engulfs Kon — but Kon's Blood Shield absorbs the blast.

Kon (dust clears, smiling with blood dripping):

"Laws don't bind me for long. Your barrier stops flight — but once I break it, I soar again."

Kamino leaps high — Sword Style: Blade of Leaves and Trees — slashing at Kon from above.

Kon dodges fast — Blood Manipulation 48th Form: Rods — spikes of blood pierce Kamino's side.

Kon:

"Your nature barrier locks my wings, so I brought my legs — hey, Horse!"

His demon horse gallops in — snorts smoke.

Horse (mind-linked):

"As you wish, Master."

Kamino (eyes narrow):

"Pholm — where are you?!"

Kon (mocking):

"Your servant? Dead. Seeds. Sprouted inside him — Fuko, Victor handled the rest. I just watered it."

Kamino grits his teeth — Plant Leaves of Ebimomet, Amber Blades!

He unleashes a spiral of leaves and wind, shredding Kon's side and blowing half the horse's head off — but Kon's horse regrows its skull, snorting steam.

Kon's arm regrows too — bloody mist swirling.

Kon:

"I eat your nature. My blood is your undoing."

Both clash — blades spark, wood against blood. Kamino's vines twist, but Kon's Blood Manipulation 67th Form: Twisted Vein lashes around Kamino's chest — cuts deep.

Kamino (panting):

"Enough — Ebimomet Leaves of Ultimate Destruction!"

A massive wave of leaf-blades. Kon takes a slash — his shoulder splits — but he laughs.

Kon:

"You're worthy, Kamino. That's fun."

Kamino lunges — both slash at once — CRACK! Kamino's two fingers fly off. He tries to patch it with wood, but Kon's faster.

Blood Manipulation 71st Form: Blood of Ambers — he infuses blood with Kamino's amber essence — corruption spreads.

Kamino roars, tries to shield — Kon pulls out his horse's shield form — flies up as the barrier shatters.

Kamino (final form — plants swirl):

"I'll bury you — Animation of Plants! Destruction of Earth! Dimension Blaze!"

Vines and earth explode — mana roars across the world, the Kisdain sense the spike.

Kon:

"Impressive. My turn."

Blood Manipulation 80th Form: Blaze of Blood.

He blasts forward — a giant bloody spear — pierces Kamino's chest — both arms drop, severed by sheer force.

Kamino's heart cracks — blood drips from his mouth.

Kamino (whispers):

"So... this is my end."

Kon (smiling, kneels by him):

"One last gift — you're a plant, right? Be one forever."

He presses a seed into Kamino's chest — Kamino's body petrifies — roots sprout, flowers bloom — his head remains conscious on a massive twisted tree trunk.

Kon (licks Kamino's blood from his fingers):

"You were good bark. But in the end, I'm the forest fire."

He whistles — the horse morphs into his shield — Kon floats up freely now, the barrier gone.

He vanishes into the sky — only Kamino's living tree-head remains, whispering in the wind.
