Hode held Wanda's hand tightly, gazing deeply into her eyes.

As Wanda looked into Hode's eyes, her inner doubts faded away. After all, it was perfectly reasonable for someone as mysterious as Hode to be busy with something. 

"Let's toast to that! Don't think about those damned rEbony Mawrs anymore. Cheers to getting away from them!" 

Hode raised his glass.

Wanda smiled as she picked up her own glass, feeling happier than she had in a long time. 

After a few glasses, 

"Actually, aside from treating you to dinner, there's something else I want to tell you tonight." 

Wanda's cheeks were flushed, her eyes sparkling with a faint red glow as she gazed intently at Hode, full of allure. She had so much to express inside her. 

"What is it?" 

Hode asked, a puzzled expression crossing his face as he set down his wine glass and turned to face her. 

In that moment of eye contact, his heart raced a little as he took in her captivating visage. 

Having drunk some wine, Wanda's pale skin flushed a shade of rose, giving off an indescribable allure. 

For a moment, 

The air in the private room was thick with the scent of hormones as their gazes entwined. Neither of them was willing to look away; everything around them seemed to fall silent. 

"What… what do you want to say?" 

Hode swallowed hard, repeating the question. He gazed into Wanda's melancholy eyes, illuminated by a soft orange glow, making her appear as though she were veiled in a delicate fabric, prompting him to want to unveil her secrets. 

Perhaps it was due to Wanda's rising temperature, but her perfume became stronger at this moment. 

The scent of night-blooming jasmine mingled with the aroma of wine, intoxicatingly filling the air. 

"I… I…" 

Wanda parted her soft lips, attempting to speak several times, but the words wouldn't come. 

She longed to share her feelings, yet a sense of fear crept in. 

Even though everything that should have happened had taken place, the pace of things felt too fast. 

"Ahem… It's really nothing major." 

In the end, Wanda hesitated, still fearful, as it was her first experience with love. 

When facing romance, she was just a young girl, unsure of how to begin. 

And the closer they got, the more her heart raced. 

"You can always tell me anything." 

Hode held Wanda's hand, speaking firmly: "Whatever it is, I will stand by your side unwaveringly." 

He sensed Wanda had something to express but that her insecurities were holding her back. 

"Nothing…" 

Facing Hode's gentle and caring demeanor, Wanda shook her head: "I really have nothing." 

Only she understood her own worries. 

She was uncertain about what their relationship truly was. 

Even though things had happened, they had never officially defined their relationship. 

She feared that if she admitted her feelings, Hode might leave her. 

Just thinking about it filled her with dread. 

Right now, the person she trusted the most was Hode, and the thought of him abandoning her was unbearable. Yet, if she didn't speak up, they could continue on as they were, keeping this relationship in the shadows. 

It was for this reason that she never mentioned Hode's identity to the Avengers. 

She didn't know how to tell others about who Hode truly was. 

"How about we go back and talk?" 

Hode looked at the visibly yearning Wanda, feeling a surge of impatience. 

After so many flirty moments today, combined with being alone with a beautiful woman, he was struggling to contain himself. 

A woman with fair skin, a perfect figure, and a slightly flushed face was right in front of him, breathing deeply… 

With each deep breath, Hode felt her warm breath against his skin.
