American Comics: The Girl Next Door is Spider-Gwen

Chapter 50: Training Martial Arts in the Studio! Tony Arrives!

"I want... to learn."

Skye pressed down on someone's mischievous hand and said playfully, "If I learn some combat moves, I can fend off perverts."

"Weren't you just saying it was a little gross?"

Ye Li curled his lips into a smile, and golden light appeared in the palm of his hand again...

"No, no, no!"

Skye's fingers suddenly gripped his shoulder tightly, pleading, "Not gross, just stop!"

"Ahem!"

At that moment, two figures appeared at the doorway.

One of them, a black-haired Asian girl, coughed twice to remind Ye Li and Skye that their behavior was getting a bit inappropriate.

The other, a petite white-haired girl, gave Ye Li a sweet smile and said, "Teacher is so busy. Looks like we came at the wrong time~"

"Oh, Cindy, Felicia."

Ye Li withdrew his hand and greeted them with a teasing tone, "No, no, no, you're just in time."

He shifted with Skye in his arms and gestured to the two girls, indicating there was room for them too.

Felicia smiled politely.

She gave Ye Li a flirtatious glance, her gaze alluring, but chose not to sit down with him.

The books said that girls should be reserved and play hard to get to attract the boys they like.

As Felicia was thinking this, she saw Cindy, who usually appeared quiet and demure, stride forward and sit obediently in Ye Li's lap...

Traitorous best friend!

"Li~"

Cindy smiled faintly and called out softly.

Her curvy figure pressed against Ye Li's legs, her small feet swinging gently. Around her ankle was a striking emerald anklet shaped like a crescent moon.

Ye Li complimented, "That's really beautiful; it suits you perfectly."

Cindy blinked curiously and said, "Didn't you give this to me?"

"Uh... did I?"

Ye Li looked slightly awkward.

But he quickly regained his composure.

He often gave girls expensive and beautiful jewelry, so many that he couldn't keep track. Forgetting was natural.

"Do you want to try this, Cindy?"

Golden light blossomed in Ye Li's palm, faint electric currents forming a flower's core. The gold was mixed with azure, even more dazzling than the last electric flower. "This is the advanced version; I guarantee you'll love it~"

Cindy wrapped her arms around him, gave him a light kiss, and agreed with a smile, "I think you must have a resting room here."

Skye, sitting on the other side, looked at the electricity in Ye Li's hand with some doubt. "This... can also be trained?"

She felt like she was being tricked.

"We came here to learn painting, Cindy."

Felicia, who didn't get a seat, unhappily sat on the table, pulling a pen from Ye Li's pen holder and fiddling with it. "Not here to fool arou—Hmm?"

As she spoke, she saw Ye Li's dazzling skill in his palm. "Teacher, what's with the flower in your hand? Are you moonlighting as a magician?"

"Oriental mystical arts."

Ye Li continued bluffing, "Do you want to learn?"

Cindy and Felicia exchanged a glance, then both nodded eagerly, their eyes filled with anticipation.

Why learn painting when this was much more amazing?

And so.

In the studio originally meant for painting.

Three youthful and charming girls began practicing basic martial arts under Ye Li's close guidance.

Thankfully, his studio was big enough to handle the chaos.

Meanwhile, outside the gallery.

A black car drove past the place.

"Happy, stop here."

Tony said to his bodyguard and driver, "See if that guy is in. Maybe I can take a few paintings back."

He wasn't very interested in paintings, but collecting art was a common pastime for the wealthy.

Besides, Tony knew the gallery's owner and had a bit of a connection. The style suited his tastes.

However, just as Tony and his bodyguard walked into the studio, a stunning spinning kick swept right past the tip of his nose, leaving him frozen in place.

What's going on?

An attack!?

"Tony, watch out!" Happy, standing nearby, quickly reached into his jacket, seemingly about to draw a gun.

"Hey, hey, Happy, calm down!"

Tony raised a hand to stop Happy from drawing his gun and looked at Cindy in front of him. "Young lady, I think this must be a misunderstanding?"

"Are you... Mr. Stark?"

Cindy, having seen Tony in the news, apologized awkwardly, "Sorry, I was just practicing some combat moves... and you walked in suddenly..."

Due to her unique physical abilities, Cindy learned Ye Li's moves the fastest, which led to her kick sweeping right past Tony's face.

Luckily, her spider-like reflexes were strong, allowing her to stop the newly learned move in time.

"Uh, alright, I guess I share some of the blame too."

Tony always had good manners toward women, especially since Cindy looked like a high school student.

He then turned his gaze to Ye Li, who was surrounded by girls, and greeted him in a teasing manner.

"Why is this place still so basic? You should've listened to me and had it renovated."

Ye Li was slightly surprised by Tony's arrival and replied, "Big shot, how do you have the time to visit my place?"

"I didn't come all the way here just to buy paintings; I was just passing by and decided to stop in."

Tony's gaze swept over Skye, Felicia, and Cindy, each with their distinct style, and he couldn't help but be impressed.

"You have great taste, though they're a bit young. But I guess they suit you just fine."

Ye Li raised his eyebrows, feeling as though Tony was implying he was luring innocent young girls.
