Melina's question would put Erika in a state of self-reflection sitting on the edge of her bed, playing with the edges of her shirt.

The white-haired girl would try to think of some way to explain her situation without embarrassing herself but preferring that her sister find out from her instead of from someone else... who possibly ends up being Alison because the alpha can't keep quiet with people close to her no matter how hard she tries.

But she was still confused enough to wander through unnecessary thoughts)" -the omega's eyes blinked repeatedly trying to concentrate through the haze, while she absentmindedly looked at Melina who approached a little worried since she was taking too long to respond-

"You're very red" -Melina would raise her hands placing her palms against her sister's cheeks and grabbing her face- "and you're still a little hot" -she turned her head from side to side a few times while looking worriedly at the older one and then gently pushing her back, laying her down- "you know what?... You better tell me tomorrow what happened to you"

"I'll... come by tomorrow?" -Erika would try to repeat what she heard, but would fail, falling completely asleep when her head hit the pillow-

"That's right... sleep peacefully" -she covers the eldest with the sheets of the bed leaving her a light kiss on the forehead- "(rest big sister)"

Melina would stroll out of the room turning off the light and trying to make as little noise as possible.

When she did, she would walk to the room she shared with her other sister, but after taking a few steps she would fall to her knees while breathing raggedly with a very red face.

"(That… that, was very close)" -the middle member of the Belion family would hold her chest while sighing through her mouth revealing small fangs-

The little alpha preferred to give the omega a moment of respite, even if it made her suffer if that freed up some weight then it was worth it. She was tired of seeing her sister always having to try harder and only to be forced to give more.

"(This is going to take a while)" -she would think while listening to Alison and Emma's voices arguing lightly in the background, deciding to use this time to calm her inner alpha, feeling it fluttering inside her, letting out growls from the back of her throat wanting to demand answers about what happened-

"I'm sorry Melina, some people still don't learn to modulate the tone of their voice" -Emma's voice sounded disappointed- "Is Erika feeling better?"

"She's currently sleeping in her room… where are you?"

"We rented a hotel room near her apartment… we didn't know how Erika would react if she discovered us following her home… where the puppies she takes care of as if they were her own are"
