Jay-jay's POV

I thought Yuri was going to die. I thought he would never stand up. I thought I was going to lose him----with us.

"Don't cry... I'm sorry if I scared you." Yuri said while wiping my tears.

Even though the fight is over, I'm still crying. I can't stop it. I put medicine on his wound. I wasn't paying attention to what he said.

"I heard your voice. You shouting, your talking and you calling my name." He said and forced a smile.

I looked at him for a moment and went back to what I was doing. I almost choked from screaming and my palm hurt when I hit my hand somewhere just to make him notice me.

Fortunately, he managed to dodge his opponent's final kick. He quickly recovered and struck back, targeting the wound with a swift punch.

His opponent surrendered willingly—despite his large build, he couldn't withstand what Yuri had done.

"Jay... Are you mad at me?" He asked.

I didn't pay attention to him. I'm annoyed, my fear is still there. I can't believe Yuri used to do that.

"Yuri... I'm already calling Keifer. He seems to be looking for us." Drew said.

I felt his fear and concern. Because he would hide from Keifer when he finds out what he was doing.

"I'm done..." I said and put away the first aid kit that Tiger lent me.

Yuri held my hand causing me to stop standing up.

"S-sorry..." He said.

I withdrew my hand and walked over to the table to put down the first aid kit.

I looked at Drew who was busy in his phone. I felt very annoyed and raised my hand on purpose to scold him.

"Ouch! What's that for?!" He said while holding his head.

"Next time you gamble, I'll make you bald!" I threatened him.

"Sorry... I can't avoid it, it's so addictive." He replied.

I almost got a heart attack because of his answer so I gave him another hit.

"Ouch! Why again?!" His complaint.

"I'm disgusted!" I answered and was about to hit him again but a hand grabbed me.

When I look at it, I don't know whether to be angry or sorry. Yuri's eyes were talking to me again.

"I know you hate me." He said.

Good to know!

I was startled when he suddenly hugged me, causing me to fall against his chest. My body tensed up once again.

"Y-Yuri.

"I'm sorry... I promise I won't do it again. I won't come back to this place, if the situation won't force me." He whispered to me.

My hand moved to hug him too. I have to admit, I still haven't lost my fear of the fight, but my annoyance and anger have disappeared.

Until I realized something.

"Y-yuri... M-maybe you can let me go." I said he did it right away.

Because he had no top clothes. I was still in love with him.

"Is there something going on between both of you?" Drew asked suddenly causing Yuri to blush and I looked at him evilly.

Yuri walked to get his clothes and get dressed.

"I even owe you an explanation." He said.

That's it, but I understand. Should I ask for an explanation? I didn't speak to let him. Drew went out for a while and said goodbye to Cr. We are here again at Tiger's office. We are the only ones here because he is talking to someone.

"I don't know where to start..." Yuri said and took a deep breath. "...Maybe when Ella didn't choose me."

He forced a smile on me. I reciprocated that to make him comfortable.

"Keifer and I almost confessed to Ella at the same time. At first I felt that she thought of Keifer as special, but she was more than a friend to me. I hoped that I shouldn't have done it..."

"...Keifer is selfish when it comes to women. He surrounded Ella and made sure she would be his. I didn't give up, I fought just in case I could. But he chose Keifer..."

"...I just accepted it. It hurt but that's how it is. Then I found myself wasted. I think I challenged everyone I met to a fight..." He laughed bitterly. "...I don't know how but my foot brought me to that place on purpose. I got into a fight and Tiger saw me from outside..."

"....They kept asking questions that,....honestly, I didn't know the answers to. I told them I wanted to fight. Of course, they were against it, saying I was still too young, but that's what I wanted. So, I fought one of Tiger's underlings—and won. That's when he finally agreed..."

"That's why you've been hanging around that place?" I asked.

He nodded in agreement. "The more fight I got into, the more addicted I became. The physical pain became a shield for the pain inside..." He pointed to his heart. "...No one could stop me. I joined all kinds of fights, but my favorite was knife fights. One wrong move, and I'm dead—taking all the pain with me."

He said that he and Ella were gone but somehow, he still felt that he is hurt. And I don't want to feel that.

"W-why did you stop?"

He took a deep breath and bowed. "Keifer... He brought me here."

"Did he talk to you?"

He shook his head. "I fought him... It was just a punch and he knocked me down in less than two minutes."

I was silent. Keifer's way is also different. Snake move!

"...He didn't say anything but I voluntarily stopped after that. I went back to school and tried to fix everything."

"How did you and Keifer get along?"

I shouldn't be asking anymore. It's like I'm just responding to the pain he's feeling.

"Of course... That's how we boys are. There's nothing to talk about as long as that's it." He said and smiled.

I smiled too. That's how it is for them, their friendship is more important than their fights.

"So, the scars on your body are from here?" I asked.

"Yes... All that is just superficial, they can't praise me." He's bragging.

Suddenly the door opened. We thought it was Drew but it turned out to be Tiger. His eyebrows furrowed and he was obviously irritable.

"I'm not happy!" He said while circling in front of us.

Drew arrives and is clearly confused by what is happening. He looked at us as if asking 'What's wrong?'. I just shrugged my shoulders.

"One more fight..." He said and looked at Yuri. "...Just one fight and I'll send you all out."

I immediately grabbed Yuri's arm. He doesn't want to fight anymore, it was already cleared

"I-I don't want to... We only have one thing to talk about." Yuri replied.

""No… No… No… I want another fight. I want you to keep fighting!" He paused for a moment before exclaiming, "That's it! Fight Keifer! Keep the battle going!"

He's losing his mind!

"Tiger, it's not that simple!" Yuri responded, irritated.

"We're only up against Keifer!"

Tiger is really out of his mind. Whatever he said.

"That's easy! Get Keifer here! Now! Otherwise!" He said annoyed and suddenly pulled out a gun.

My whole body stiffened. I'm going to die, he haven't even pulled the trigger yet, I felt like I'm going to die. That's what it's like when a gun is pointed at your head.

"Keifer! Now!" He screamed.

I can't breathe. My hand was shaking as I raised it, as if I was giving up. I really gave up, I have nothing against guns!

"N-not answering!" Drew said.

I also felt his fear. Why didn't he answer now? The King of snakes makes absolutely no sense.

"Come on!" Tiger shouted again and poked the gun harder at my head.

I don't want to die!

"We're calling him! Just don't hurt Jay-jay!" Yuri asked.

Don't leave me here!

I could not scream or complain. Drew and Yuri had gone out so Tiger lowered the gun.

I could breathe at least a little. I was quiet. Afraid? Maybe. The gun's aim can make the flesh tremble.

"Do you want pizza?"

Keifer's POV

"You son of a bitch!" I shouted and immediately punched Drew.

"Keifer! That's it!" They weaned me but I didn't stop.

I picked Drew up and punched him on his face. I didn't care if his lips are bleeding.

"Keifer!" Yuri called me.

The anger I felt is too much. I turned to Yuri and immediately punched him too.

"You! You know that it's a very dangerous place for Jay-jay yet you took her there!" I said.

"That's right Keifer! Let's go to her!" Ci-N shouted at me.

I just tweaked myself. I just made a slight adjustment. That cunning woman got away from me, and to make matters worse, Edrix still can't track her phone signal since she's at Kingsground.

Fuck!

I looked at Drew and Yuri. "If something bad happens to Jay-jay... I'll paralyze you both! Remember that!"

I can't forgive myself if something bad happens to her.
