Chapter 137: Chapter 137
"If Cryptic Sanctuary left their exquisite decoration in chains then I guess it's for a good reason." Mr Oshiro said, holding his cigarette while looking out the window in the hallway.
"Ryukushu has been chained for decades. Now he's out to enforce a new world order that he's been anticipating for. We have to do something fast, I'm afraid there's not much time left." Douma responded, awaiting Mr Oshiro's plans. However, given how dire the situation was, the blonde didn't mind heading off to the specific destination where Ryukushu was off to on his own.
Inhaling the smoke from his cigarette, Mr Oshiro sighed and turned to look at Douma with a stern expression on his face.
"From the satellite footage I can tell how complicated this mission is going to be. We're dealing with an abominable supernatural case right here and it's not looking too good for civilians."
So he has been keeping up with these recent events. Hopefully Atlas has got the equipment and their personnel prepared. Besides Ryukushu's wrath, Douma was extremely worried about the Chaos who was still out there. Even though he wasn't directly causing any trouble, the entity was on the hunt for Shinobu and Chachamaru. He could be watching them at this very instant.
More problems to deal with and very little time at stake.
"From what we've gathered he's heading to Romania, I wonder what he's looking for there."
"During our battle at Twin Island, Ryukushu mentioned something about finding a set of items to help him with his goal of forming a new livelihood on Earth under his set of rules. It doesn't matter what these items are, we have to put a stop to him and this scheme." The blonde explained to Mr Oshiro who nodded in agreement.
Crossing his arms, Mr Oshiro stayed silent for a while before speaking again. "And he's not alone, there's another entity working with him, and it's gotten a hold of Shinobu and Chachamaru."
Douma looked down at the floor in grief, he didn't say anything. He couldn't even bring himself to tell Shinobu what was going on, the violette was left clueless about the entire situation. As much as he didn't want to admit it, if Shinobu wasn't on the Chao's list of potential hosts, he'd have no problem telling her.
"We'll figure something out, in the meantime let's put a stop to the resurging problem on our planet and then focus on the other." Mr Oshiro proudly said.
You don't know what you're dealing with here but I salute your enthusiasm. The angel looked up and smiled lightly.
"The benefits of sitting down and watching satellite footage. That's how I knew the shrine leader of the Hasu Mountains was in Tokyo that day. Those ice sculptures, who else would've summoned a plethora of ice if it wasn't Douma?"
"Anyways, Embargo LTD wants to have a meeting with Atlas tonight but I have some errands to run so perhaps I could get you and Ryo to help me with this? Oh and it's not just Ryo actually, another one of our dedicated taskforce is in the city at this hour so maybe you could stop by and deploy the squad. I suppose this meeting is about the vehicles prepared for our departure to Rome." Mr Oshiro added.
While Mr Oshiro and Douma were discussing about tonight's meeting, Ryo stood there listening closely to their conversation. Mr Oshiro had called him here for this discussion, but instead of having to deal with the man's chatter, he'd rather stand in his spot, it's not like Mr Oshiro realized he was missing someone. At least Ryo was aware of what he had to do.
Several minutes later, he heard Mr Oshiro calling him.

"We're heading to the dojo?" Douma asked Ryo who put up a serious expression the entire time since they left the building of Atlas.
"Yes and it's just right around the corner." Ryo replied coldly.
Lifting a brow, Douma wondered how Ryo interacted with everybody else during missions. He didn't talk much and certainly seemed like the kind of person who just hated talking to people in general.
"So lemme guess, you prefer to be left alone, absolutely despise socializing and wish you didn't have to go through this task with other people, is that right?" Douma asked condescendingly which he could tell, Ryo was getting annoyed by his presence.
The dark-haired man didn't say anything he just kept quiet. Douma found it funny that he didn't even bother saying anything this time.
"I suggest you don't do anything stupid if you want to see some progress being made here. It could ruin our reputation and I won't be claiming responsibility for that."
Douma snorted, who does Ryo think he is? The angel's been working with Atlas for quite a while now. Ryo will take back his words.
The two of them passed by a few stores until they came to a stop in front of the supposed dojo.
"We're here." Ryo said, gazing at the dojo that was lit up by rows of lights hanging from the roof and across the walls.
From the laughing and screaming in the dojo, both Douma and Ryo knew there were a lot of people in there. It was still active at this hour, whoever was running this dojo did an impressive job at gathering a spontaneous crowd.
Both Douma and Ryo walked in and were immediately greeted by an old man at the counter. He rushed over to them with a wide smile on his face.
Before he could even speak, Ryo raised a hand. The old man seemed to recognize Ryo and slowly backed away. Douma looked at his comrade skeptically, maybe this wasn't Ryo's first time here, it didn't seem like it. After all, he knew the directions to the dojo well. Whoever they were looking for must have close ties with Ryo.
Instead of attending to Ryo who had nothing else to say, the old man walked over to Douma and told him everything that went on at the dojo. In front of them were tatami mats on the floor and people of all ages practicing their skills with the wooden poles and belts in their possession.
"Here we have a cozy setting for you to train and learn from like-minded individuals!" The old man said, hoping that his explanation was enough to entice Douma who was taking in the surroundings of the dojo, the blonde found it to be a very family-oriented atmosphere.
Ryo walked over to the end of the hall, leaving Douma behind. He didn't hesitate to step in the grounds of the people who were training around here, the man paid no attention to the perplexed reactions of those finding his intrusion quite troublesome, but they continued what they were doing anyway, brushing it off like it was nothing.
When Ryo reached the doors of the area behind them, the man took a deep breath. He then held the sides of the doors tightly and slowly slid them aside to reveal a group of people sitting down on the tatami mats, chatting loudly, one of them a girl with bubblegum pink hair in a white kimono who was shocked to see Ryo standing there but also intrigued.
