Chapter 116: Chapter 116 ⟴ Laying Down Their Lives For Me
Whoosh!
Space rippled instantly and a slender figure appeared before everyone.
"Ah haha... I didn't expect everyone to arrive so early?" Satoru casually glanced over everyone's faces after his sudden appearance.
Though he was still as annoying as ever, in the current atmosphere, everyone found his irritating tone somehow endearing.
"Satoru Gojo, you're late!" Masamichi and Yoshinobu turned to face him.
Though their words were reproachful, their expressions were much more relaxed.
"Principal, what happened to your knees? They're covered in dirt and grass — and that balding hairstyle of yours... it's quite fashionable." Satoru stroked the side of his eye through his blindfold, his tone teasing.
Masamichi's face darkened, but he didn't bother explaining.
As another figure suddenly appeared, the meeting room fell dead silent.
Satoru voluntarily removed his blindfold, his azure eyes staring directly at Daiki. It seemed impossible that someone so young could be the executioner from the broadcast.
According to the Jujutsu World's investigation, he was still just a student.
He possessed strength far beyond what Satoru had at that age — at least Satoru hadn't dared to indiscriminately slaughter the Kyoto Jujutsu World.
A subtle yet oppressive aura emanated from him.
"Combined with Spatial Transference Technique, it's suffocating." Satoru realized how troublesome and difficult this young tyrant would be to deal with.
He had already displayed more than three techniques:
Large-scale Spatial Transference Technique for instant teleportation, Black Bird Manipulation Technique to control crows and other birds, and the basic slashing techniques of the King of Curses, Sukuna!
He had killed the Semi-Grade 1 Sorcerer Ogi Zen'in and casually unleashed a Black Flash punch.
Satoru knew that Black Flash punch wasn't a coincidence. With this opponent, it was either kill with one hit or be beaten to death.
His eyelids lowered as he quietly waited for Daiki to speak.
The other Sorcerers' hearts sank — even Satoru Gojo wasn't confident?
"Actually, I gathered everyone here today for one thing. As you all know, after the King of Curses Ryōmen Sukuna died, twenty fingers were made from his body and scattered as Special Grade Cursed Objects in various places. I've called you here because I hope you can help me find the remaining five fingers and bring them back to me."
Daiki's words left all the Sorcerers stunned.
Sukuna's Fingers were Special Grade Cursed Objects — a forbidden topic. Now this terrifying figure wanted to collect them all. What sinister plot could he be orchestrating?
Even more shocking was his claim of already possessing fifteen Fingers.
'Has he taken Curse User Suguru Getō's finger? That would explain Getō's sudden overnight flight to Italy—was he fleeing?'
Yoshinobu lowered his eyes, deep in contemplation.
"As the Inspector General commands, we must obey." He said, the first to bow in submission.
"Inspector General, what else would you have us do?"
"We'll move heaven and earth to fulfill your wishes."
The obsequious display from some Sorcerers made others silently recoil in disgust.
"That's all, but I should warn you—"
Buzz!
Daiki's phone interrupted him with a sudden ring.
Opening it, he saw Miku's name on the screen.
"What's wrong, my princess?" He asked calmly, his gaze sweeping over the assembled Sorcerers.
[Daiki-kun, is everything alright? We can postpone today's tutoring if you're having trouble. Do you need my help?]
In the silent meeting room, Miku's gentle voice carried clearly to everyone's ears.
"Everything's fine." Daiki said softly, "I've just asked some friends to help me find a few things. I'll be back by eight tonight."
Shoko and the others wore bemused expressions — his tone seemed completely out of place.
How could the man who'd massacred the Kyoto Jujutsu World speak with such tenderness? And "princess"? Really?
[Are you sure? Are these friends trustworthy? I could come help instead. Nino and the others are worried about you too.]
The gentle concern in her voice made everyone exchange meaningful glances.
The Grade 1 Sorcerer from the Kamo clan sneered disdainfully, 'Clearly just an upstart without proper background, always focused on romance.'
Still calling people friends when asking for help finding things — who would ever be your friend?
"Hunf—" The Kamo family sorcerer let out a light scoff.
The next moment.
۞ Innate Technique ⟴ Dismantle! ۞
Bang!
Flesh and blood sprayed backward. Bright blood mixed with organ fragments painted the wall.
All the Sorcerers in the meeting room froze in cold sweat.
Daiki's voice rang out as his hand slowly lowered.
"Trustworthy? Of course they're trustworthy! These friends of mine would all lay down their lives for me." He glanced at the gruesomely dead Kamo Sorcerer.
In the most literal sense of laying down their lives — who could argue otherwise?
Masamichi and Yoshinobu swallowed hard.
This guy... he defied all common sense!
Satoru's expression darkened. That unexpected strike was beyond imagination... So this was the King of Curses' technique?
Direct and decisive — no technique was better suited for killing.
The previously restless Sorcerers fell into stunned silence.
Daiki hung up the phone and continued, "Let me be clear — don't waste my time, and don't think about cutting corners. Start searching now. My crows will be watching everyone. If anyone dares to slack off, I'll cut them to pieces."
His cold demeanor and terrifying Cursed Energy pressed down on everyone present. The overwhelming force of his power threatened to crush them all.
"Dismissed!"
۞ Spatial Transference! ۞
Daiki's figure vanished in an instant.
The assembled Sorcerers gasped for breath, as if awakening from a nightmare. Before any could speak, countless crows descended upon the windows.
Masamichi and Yoshinobu exchanged meaningful glances.
Satoru remained silent — he possessed two of Sukuna's Fingers.
The crucial question lingered: why was Daiki so openly pursuing the collection of the fingers?

Days later, Daiki revealed potential locations of the fingers, forcing all Sorcerers to mobilize.
This massive operation quickly caught the attention of various factions.
The Devils and Cursed Spirits bore the brunt of this activity.
With Daiki's crows maintaining constant surveillance, the Sorcerers had no choice but to act. While ordinary Sorcerers could be overlooked, the consequences were fatal for the most powerful among them.
This was especially true for Grade 1 Sorcerers like the Zen'in family head — who, despite their official rank, possessed power rivaling Special Grade warriors.
As a result, gruesome scenes of fallen monsters littered locations across the region.

In a dark alley, a weak Parasite Devil was absorbing human fear.
The recent emergence of parasites had intensified humans' fear of them, causing previously weak Parasite Devils to grow stronger at an alarming rate.
Being cunning creatures, Parasite Devils understood the importance of staying hidden. This one had decided to build its strength before making any moves that would terrify humans.
After days of absorbing fear, its power had finally peaked. The time had come to emerge and amplify humanity's fear of parasites.
But when it opened its eyes, three elderly figures stood before it.
There was Naobito Zen'in with his stern face, Yoshinobu Gakuganji wearing his kind smile, and the Kamo Clan Head bearing his cold, severe expression.
"What... what are you going to do? Wait... if you've got the guts, let's fight one-on-one... aaahh... don't come any closer!!!"
