Anime Lottery System

As we were making landfall I realized that being at Alabasta right now meant that Luffy and the rest of the Strawhat Pirates would be here too. If I played my cards right I could even meet them. Meeting Whitebeard was one thing but if I meet the Strawhats, my One Piece fan meter might overload.

"Everyone be alert, there's another group we need to be on the lookout for while we're here." I said to the others as we disembarked.

"Huh? Who would that be?" Jack asked me.

"We are going to have a fateful encounter with someone here, that's all I can say." I said.

"Oh, is this another one of your fortunes Gai? You're usually spot on, if you say we're going to have a fateful encounter then you must be right." Yuma said. I'd started passing off the knowledge that I had of the plot as fortune telling. It was easier than actually explaining how I knew these things.

We followed Ace's Vivre card and eventually ended up in a town. As we arrived there was some commotion and Marines were running around the town. I assumed that we had gotten there around the time that Captain Smoker was chasing Luffy and the others. I thought it'd be awkward to try to interact them while they were being chased by the Marines so I just stayed back and waited for them to escape before catching up with them.

After they had made it out of town I caught up to them in the desert in the outskirts of town. This ended up being a convenient time to find them, because they were all together in one spot this gave me the chance to meet them all at once.

"Hold it right there. I need to talk to you guys." I said as I appeared behind them.

"Ah! Who are you?" Nami asked surprised to see someone had been following them.

"I thought I felt someone following us." Ace said. "So what do you want? Are you looking for a fight too?" He said while igniting a flame in his hand.

"Whoa, whoa, calm down guys I'm just here to talk. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Buster D. Gaileo it's nice to meet you all." I said politely.

"Wait! Buster D. Gaileo? Isn't he another one of the Seven Warlords? Guys this is seriously bad news! They sent another Warlord here!" Usopp said in a panic.

"Oh so you do want a fight?" Ace added.

"Um, no. Like I said I didn't come here to fight I have other reasons for coming to see you guys." I said trying to ease the tension. "Your dad sent us here Ace. I'm talking about Whitebeard of course."

"Huh? Pops? What would he send you here for?" Ace asked.

"Um, what were we supposed to do again? Oh right he wanted us to check on you and see if you were doing ok. And he sent us because he didn't want to embarrass you by letting you know that he was worried about you. Oh right. I guess I wasn't supposed to mention that part then." I have a bad memory.

Ace was a bit embarrassed, "Geez pops, you didn't have to go that far." He said. "Wait, how do you know pops?"

"Well I happened to come across him by chance. So naturally I challenged him to a dual and I ended up owing him a favor." I said nonchalantly.

"This guy challenged the legendary Whitebeard to a fight? He must be crazy!" Usopp said.

"You don't know the half of it kid." Rei responded.

"Shut up, Tramp." I retorted causing the two of us to bicker a bit.

"Hey, there's a lot of pretty ladies over there." Sanji said as he noticed the women in my crew members, and he started to squirm and wiggle around with hearts in his eyes.

"Shut up, swirly brows." Zoro said resulting in the two bickering for a bit.

"So you fought pops? I guess he beat you and you owed him a favor. I guess you learned your lesson about challenging pops. I learned that lesson the hard way myself." Ace said.

"Yeah, more or less that's what happened."

"Don't sell yourself short Gai. He actually fought Whitebeard to a draw." Yuma interjected.

"What? No way. There's no way you could have forced a draw against pops."

"It's not really important either way. The important thing is that I paid the old man back for what I owed. So that's one matter of business taken care of, the next is you guys." I said pointing at the Strawhats.

"Hi, I'm Monkey D. Luffy I'm-" Luffy started to say.

"Going to be King of the Pirates?" I finished his sentence.

"Whoa, how'd you know I was going to say that?" He asked.

"Just a bit of intuition, after all you've been saying it a lot right?" I asked.

"Wait! How do you know that about Luffy?" Nami asked.

"I told you I just have a strong sense of intuition." I said. I was afraid that I'd totally get overly excited when I met the Strawhats because I'm a huge fan, but I decided to try to play it cool. I'll admit I was just trying to impress them.

"Ha! You guys should know that Gai here is an expert fortune teller. His predictions and inferences are always right. Even though he's never met you he knows all about you guys." Yuma bragged for me. Yuma had a habit of talking up my skills around people. I usually didn't like it when he did that, but in this case I didn't mind.

"Yeah right! If you're a fortune teller then tell us something about ourselves that you shouldn't be able to know about us!" Sanji said skeptically.
