A Year Later….

"Hey no fair! How come Bandanna Guy gets to leave early? Luffy asked with a childish pout.

"Well that's pretty simple, he was a lot further along than you were when you started. It's only natural he'd finish his training here before you." Rayleigh explained. "Plus it seems like he's going on to a much tougher training method on his own."

Me and Luffy had undergone Rayleigh's brutal training regiment for a year and at the end of the year he said that I had pretty much finished all of the training that he could give me. However, just because I had finished his training didn't necessarily mean that I was ready to leave. Coincidentally, Charlemagne had also set out on a training journey while we were away. As it turned out, he just so happened to be on the same island as us training. So I spent the next 6 months sparring with him. After that time I figured we were ready to meet back up with the others. We were probably ready long before that but me and Charlemagne were having too much fun fighting nonstop every day.

We first went back to Amazon Lily to pick up Isabella before we left. "Hey Bell long time no see, has your training gone well for you?" I asked as I saw her.

"Ah! Leo! It's so good to finally see you again!" She said running up to hug me. "What do you think of my new look? The Kuja made this dress for me." She had a new twin bun type hair style, and her dress was a black dress with a deep slit down the front with a white sash.

"I'm not much for fashion, but your hair looks nice I guess." I said dismissively, I was much more interested in getting down to business than discussing her outfit.

"Aww, thanks Leo. You look so much different yourself. I can tell how much work you've put in just by looking at you." She replied. She was likely referring to the massive amount of muscle that I had put on in the past 18 months. "And Charlemagne you look… scarier." She added.

"Whatever can we just go now?" Charlemagne asked.

"Not until we hear a song from Bell. That's the most important thing right now. I haven't heard your singing in over a year that's way too long!" I complained. Isabella sang a tune that completely blew me away. She had already been the best singer I'd ever heard but she had somehow gotten way better, I guess all her training had paid off too.

Apparently Isabella had become pretty popular in Amazon Lily over the past year because the whole island gathered around to see her off. They even gave us a ship to use, they seemed to do absolutely anything she asked. To be honest, when I told her to train by singing in front of the women of Amazon Lily, I didn't actually think it produce this kind of result.

We ended up heading out to reunite with our other crew members on Baima Island. Despite our shorthanded crew, we were making excellent time. On our way, we received an urgent call from Baima Island.

"Captain! We need your help immediately! The Navy has called a Buster Call on us! Please hurry we need you now!" Celeste pleaded over the transponder snail.

"Don't worry, we'll be there soon just hold on as long as you can." I said as I ended the call. "Char we better pick up the pace we need to get there immediately."

"I agree, I'm eager for a fight." Charlemagne said with a grin.

"But Leo, how are we going to make the ship go faster? We already have full sails." Isabella said.

"Like this,Bankai! Kokujo Tengen Muyo!" a Giant heavily armored samurai then appeared and picked up our ship and launched it through the air. "Char it's your turn!"

"Got it! Vortex Thrust!" Charlemagne then thrusted his sword forward, hitting the ship with the intense air pressure from his attack. He continued this many times over to maintain our altitude and speed.

"With this, we should get there in no time." I said.

Meanwhile on Baima Island, the Navy's advance force had made landfall and were beginning their assault.

"This is bad. Leo and the others aren't here yet. And Yuma and Jack are out too. How are we going to be able to hold them off without any of our strongest fighters?" Celeste thought as she watched her soldiers (which were a ragtag militia made up of people from around the island) get slaughtered by the Marines. "Is this the end for us?" She asked with tears in her eyes.

"Sorry, I'm late! Don't cry Cel. It's all over now, because I am here!" I announced confidently.

"Leo! You're back!" She exclaimed.

"So what? There's still nothing even you can do against a force of this magnitude." A nameless Vice Admiral said.

"Bankai Kokujo Tengen Muyo!" I then used Tenken to destroy half their fleet, and Charlemagne cut up the rest with his sword. The Vice Admiral was left speechless by his fleet being wiped out in practically an instant. "This battle was over the second I stepped foot on this Island." I said.

"You don't understand! this was just the vanguard force! You've still yet to see the terror and power of a Buster Call!" The Vice Admiral said trying to persuade himself and his men that they were still able to win.

"Whatever, bring whoever you want, but they still won't be able to beat me!
