Chapter 68: Chapter 65: Mario and Family in The Park

As the ZAGE team made their way down the road, excitement filled the air. Their destination: the local park, a popular weekend gathering spot for families and children. The team consisted of Zaboru dressed as Mario, Shinsuke as Luigi, Sayuri in her regular attire as the team's spokesperson, Yuna wearing a Pac-Man costume, and Yugo donning a Donkey Kong outfit. The plan was simple yet effective—turn their truck into a mobile gaming station and create a buzz around ZEPS.

Upon arriving at the park, the team quickly got to work. The back of the truck was transformed into a portable gaming setup with a large TV and the ZEPS console, while a table was neatly arranged with various reward toys. Onlookers—both children and adults—curiously gathered, intrigued by the unusual setup.

Once everything was in place, Sayuri positioned herself with a video camera, ready to document the event. Yuna and Yugo stood by the prize table, and finally, Mario and Luigi took center stage.

With a cheerful energy, Zaboru grabbed a portable loudspeaker and shouted, "Good morning, everyone! And Happy Sunday!" He jumped slightly, waving his gloved hands. "It's-a me, Mario! And this is my brother, Luigi!"

Shinsuke, embracing his role as Luigi, excitedly followed up. "Hello, everyone!" He exaggerated his jumps and gestures, making the kids giggle.

A small child, playing nearby with his parents, tugged at his father's sleeve. "Mom, Dad! Look! It's Mario and Luigi! from ZAS And they have so many toys!" even the kids who doesn`t know Mario games excited to see that many toys and people in costume

As if on cue, more children turned their attention to the ZAGE team, their eyes lighting up with curiosity and excitement. Some ran toward the setup, eager to see what was happening, while their parents followed closely behind.

Mario clapped his hands together. "That's the spirit, young ones! Now, I have a challenge for you all! But first—raise your hand if you've ever played a Mario game in the arcade!"

A few hands shot up, but the majority of the children shook their heads, looking intrigued.

Luigi grinned. "Perfect! That means this will be even more exciting! Now, listen carefully—here's the challenge!" He gestured dramatically toward the TV. "We have a brand-new magical console called ZEPS, and today, we're giving you all a chance to play Super Mario Bros. at home!"

Some of the kids gasped, their faces lighting up in disbelief.

"You mean we can play Mario at home?" a boy shouted.

"That's right!" Luigi nodded enthusiastically. "And today's challenge is to beat the first level of Super Mario Bros.! But there's a catch—you only get two lives, and each life can't last more than five minutes! If you succeed, you get to pick any toy from our prize table!"

The children cheered in excitement.

"Are you ready?" Luigi called out.

"Yeah!" the kids shouted back.

"Then let's start!" Luigi pointed at one boy standing in the front. "You go first!"

The boy, about eight years old, stepped forward hesitantly. Mario crouched to his level and smiled. "What's your name, young man?"

"Nobuo!" the boy said nervously.

"Alright, Nobuo! Have you ever played Super Mario Bros. before?"

Nobuo shook his head. "No, but I really want to try it!"

Mario patted his shoulder. "Great! Let me explain how it works. You use this D-pad to move, the X button to jump, and the B button to shoot fireballs—if you find a Fire Flower, of course! The goal is to reach the flag at the end of the level! Got it?"

Nobuo nodded determinedly.

"Alright, then! Give it a try!"

As Nobuo picked up the controller, the classic Mario tune played through the TV speakers. His fingers fumbled at first, but soon he started to get the hang of it. The other kids leaned in, watching intently. He managed to clear a few obstacles, but then—

"Oh no! I fell into the hole!" Nobuo groaned as Mario plummeted into a pit.

"Don't worry, you still have one more chance!" Mario encouraged.

Nobuo nodded, now more focused. He tried again, but unfortunately, he mistimed a jump and got hit by a Goomba.

"Aww, so close! But don't worry, you can try again if you queue up at the back!" Mario reassured him.

Nobuo grinned. "I will!" he really like the game!

More kids took turns, each one eager to prove themselves. Some were close to winning, but only a few succeeded. Then, after a few attempts, a boy named Kotarou managed to reach the flagpole successfully.

"OOH! Kotarou did it, everyone! Give him a round of applause!" Mario announced.

The crowd erupted in cheers, and even the parents clapped along. Kotarou, blushing from the attention, walked toward the prize table where Yuna and Yugo stood.

"Congratulations, Kotarou! Choose any toy you like!" Pac-Man (Yuna) cheered.

meanwhile the Donkey Kong punch his chest "Uuu Uugh , UUGH" then jump around like real monkey

Kotarou kind of afraid of donkey kong but that feeling dissappear when Kotarou scanned the table before picking an RC car. His grin widened as he held up his new prize. "Thank you!"

Kotarou who can`t queue again going watch others kids playing with smug face!

More kids took turns, some winning and some losing. Even those who didn't win seemed to enjoy the experience, eager to play again. The promotion continued for a while until—

"Oh no, we've run out of toys!" Luigi gasped dramatically. "That's too bad!"

Mario slumped his shoulders. "I'm so sad… there are still kids who haven't won a prize!" He pretended to cry, wiping imaginary tears.

The children who hadn't won anything approached him. "It's okay, Mario! We had fun playing your game!" one said.

Another chimed in, "Yeah! It was really fun!"

Mario's face instantly lit up. "Really?! Then I'm happy again!"

Luigi laughed. "Mario and the ZAGE team will probably come back here sometime! Be sure to tell your friends about us! and our games!"

The kids all nodded eagerly. Meanwhile, their parents had begun asking Sayuri about ZEPS and where they could buy it. Sayuri handled their questions confidently, ensuring them that the console would be available in stores soon.

With the event a huge success, the ZAGE team packed up their setup, waving goodbye to the kids as they left.

As they drove away, Zaboru leaned back in his seat, grinning. "That went even better than expected."

Shinsuke smirked. "Told you my marketing strategy would work."

With the first promotion completed, the road to launching ZEPS had officially begun.
