Antihero In the Hero Academy: I Can Connect the Past Heroes

Chapter 9: He Did Not Forget

[Good luck.]

Atlas felt a strange sadness when he saw these messages, it was as if Chronos had said goodbye to him completely, he had only received a blessing from this god before, and even though he knew a lot about him, the fact that he did not recognise him made everything even stranger.

It was as if he had parted from a long-time friend or family member.

Nevertheless, he shook his head left and right, then calmly said "System Profile". At that moment, two windows opened in front of him:

[User logging in for the first time!]

[Atlas of Chaos

 Age: 15

 Race: Human

 Class: -

 Title: The Hero

 Skills: Inventory(Active), Observation(Active), Mind Palace(Active), Hero Connecting(Active)

 Magic Ring: 0

 Aura Level: 0]

When Atlas read what was written in this window, he shook his head from side to side and then tried to understand what was going on.

After scratching his head with his hand, he thought that maybe he could touch something just like he closed the windows, and then he touched the part that said 'age', and at that moment he managed to see how the system was used:

[User has been alive for 15 years, 1 day, 14 hours, 57 minutes and 33 seconds].

It was a really, really interesting thing. His age was increasing every second. 33 seconds had already become 37 seconds, and it was really increasing by the second.

It was as if the system itself was alive, like something that was constantly changing and moving, like the mana in its body, but more intelligent and self-conscious.

He closed the window with great surprise and then directly clicked on the option in the 'title' section:

[The Hero(Mythical

Atlas, the hero has his name on the walls of Mount Olympus. The hero was being watched by every god and goddess in the history of time. Everything might be forgotten but the hero's name is still written, in a way that no one can read. Just like the titan himself, his name can not be erased.

Gives +10000 favour with the gods].

Atlas smiled when he read this window, and then his happiness officially reached its peak. Even when he had tried to save humanity, he had failed, but it seemed that his efforts had not been in vain. Chronos...had not forgotten him.

When he came to himself, he checked his inventory and observation abilities respectively and was able to understand what had happened in detail.

Almost every single item in his magic bag was instantly sent to his inventory, the fact that it was easier to control than his magic bag and that it was virtually unlimited on top of that, seemed to work in Atlas' favour.

His Observation ability was really strange.

[Observation(Legendary/Active)

The eyes of Helios are yours now, all-seeing and all-watching, able to observe the lies and truths of your living emotions, and to help you see through illusions and hidden things!

When the ability is used, the user will be able to see other people's system profiles.

When the ability is used, the user will be able to see through illusions and barrier spells].

If what is written in the ability is true, Atlas will indeed be able to learn other people's secrets as if it were a trick.

If this ability worked on everyone, he would be able to see the enemy's abilities and strength during a battle, and then act accordingly.

It was indeed an excellent ability if what was written was true.

He didn't even need to check his Mind Palace ability, it was something he had already had since childhood, he was one of the few who didn't even try to acquire it like other mages. Maybe it wasn't a great talent in his previous life, but that didn't mean he was stupid.

Well, he wasn't exactly stupid...after all, he had chosen to help those who had betrayed him, even if without realising it.

Mind Palace was enough to make him one of the most powerful heroes and sorcerers, even though his potential was close to zero.

He never forgot anything he saw and could literally store it in the library of that palace in part of his brain. He could remember an unlimited number of spells, formulae and the location of treasures. It was just like entering this dungeon.

Thanks to this, it was quite easy for him to live. In wartime, the fact that he could instantly remember every skill and do it again instantly was a very good skill indeed. This was actually the reason why he could work wonders even when he was alone on the battlefields.

Of course, hard work was also a big factor.

Still, the thing that intrigued him the most was his last skill.

Before he even clicked on the skill, he realised that he had gained a very strange ability. He instantly touched the ability and then began to read:

[Hero Connecting(Mythical/Active)

This ability allows you to summon a 'god, goddess, or hero' that has existed throughout history after each Magic Ring or Aura Level gained.

You can learn from Theseus, considered a god and a descendant of Poseidon, or listen to the teachings of Thanatos, the offspring of Nyx and known as death. This is entirely up to you!]

When Atlas read about the ability, it wasn't the ability itself that excited him. On the contrary, a name he had seen had managed to make him insanely flattered. Maybe it was Chronos himself who wrote the description of all the abilities, or maybe that wasn't true, but in the end, Atlas was pleased with what he saw.

Perhaps he had managed to see the name of the person he most wanted to meet. The person he wished to see most and perhaps the person he wanted to thank.

"Nyx..." Atlas suddenly muttered, a perfect smile on his face. This goddess was none other than the one who had saved his life in his previous life.
