"It is Time. Awaken, Ea. Know the law of Heaven. Worship me and Die!" Facing Karna's Noble Phantasm, Gilgamesh raised Ea, the Sword of Rupture, in response. "Let the king quell everything with your death..."

"Enuma Elish!"

Both Kayneth and Karna had anticipated the destructive power of these Noble Phantasms and had prepared accordingly.

Kayneth immediately used his Mercury magecraft to shield himself, then darted into an underground passageway that had been dug and reinforced beforehand using Earth-escape spell by Waver. Now, it served its purpose perfectly.

On the other side, Tohsaka Tokiomi quickly took out a shield gifted by Gilgamesh, said to be a prototype of Achilles Cosmos, the shield encircling the heavens. Its defensive capabilities were unparalleled.

The reason Gilgamesh had lent this shield to Tokiomi was that the King of Heroes considered his Master a potential weak point or someone who might otherwise be killed in the collateral damage of battle.

In other words, even if it came down to a war of attrition, Kayneth would likely have no chance of victory once Tokiomi deployed this shield in advance.

The earlier battles were merely Tokiomi's way of maintaining his pride as a traditional magus.

...

An endless light, boundless heat, and seemingly unending shockwaves engulfed Kiritsugu Emiya's field of vision.

He had completely underestimated the upper limit of destruction these two Servants could unleash. Even though he was positioned over two kilometers away, Kiritsugu had to activate his magecraft, Time Alter: Triple Accel.

Clutching his weapon, he desperately dashed toward a safer shelter, but the shockwave far exceeded both his imagination and his ability to relocate in time.

Like a leaf caught in a hurricane, Kiritsugu was swept away, spinning dozens of times in mid-air before crashing into a scorched, carbonized tree. Barely, he managed to grab hold of it and halt his momentum.

This was only possible because Kiritsugu was a magus adept at reinforcement magecraft and the unique Time Alter magecraft. Even so, several burn wounds covered his body, and a shard of wood was embedded in his left arm.

"Damn, damn, damn...! (Onore! Onore! Onore!)"

Gilgamesh, having poured his all into the attack, realized that his Sword of Rupture could not overpower Karna's Noble Phantasm!

The point of collision between the two beams of light began to shift toward Gilgamesh's side, evidence that the output of his Noble Phantasm was inferior to Karna's.

Karna had sacrificed his Golden Armor in a self-destructive ritual, achieving an almost sacrificial enhancement to the power of his Anti-Divine spear. The resulting attack was something even Gilgamesh could not counter.

No matter how many Command Spells Tokiomi used at this moment, they were of no avail. Moreover, as Tokiomi cowered behind the shield of Achilles Cosmos, he had no way to confirm Gilgamesh's condition.

Finally, the overwhelming destructive power of Karna's Vasavi Shakti, designed to target divine entities, completely annihilated Gilgamesh's divine Noble Phantasm, the Sword of Rupture. A torrent of flames engulfed the King of Heroes.

Karna's Noble Phantasm swept across the area that had once been a park, cutting through the Mion River and directly striking Fuyuki Station on the eastern bank of the river!

In a single blow, the attack destroyed city structures along a straight line extending over ten kilometers and utterly obliterated Fuyuki Station, leaving a massive crater in its place.

If this were New Tokyo-3, it might have resulted in two new artificial lakes being added to Fuyuki City.

Tohsaka Tokiomi stared dumbfounded at the devastation before him. He had never expected the all-powerful, invincible King of Heroes to lose!

He could no longer sense Gilgamesh through their Servant-Master contract. In other words, Gilgamesh had been killed by Lancer's Noble Phantasm.

The Tohsaka family's long-standing wish had once again been shattered, leaving Tokiomi momentarily dazed.

The shield he held did not disappear, as the opposing Servant had ceased attacking him. Instinctively, he lowered the shield.

At that very moment, despite his injuries, Kiritsugu Emiya, who had remained hidden and observant, seized the opening and fired a specially crafted bullet without hesitation.

This bullet, known as an Origin Bullet, was made using bone powder from Kiritsugu's own ribs, crafted to exploit his inherent origin. When it struck a magus, it instantly severed all their magic circuits and reconnected them chaotically.

In other words, any magus hit by this bullet would be rendered incapable of properly generating or controlling magical energy.

Tokiomi suddenly felt a sharp pain in his back, followed by an indescribable sensation spreading throughout his body.

Instinctively, he attempted to circulate magical energy to defend himself and heal his injuries, only to find that every effort to do so caused his circuits to intensify his agony.

Tokiomi collapsed, veins bulging on his forehead. He could hardly move a finger, and there was only one person in the Holy Grail War capable of such an attack: his ally.

"Emi... Emiya Kiritsugu..." Tokiomi struggled to speak. "You... you traitor..."

Before Tokiomi could finish his sentence, Kiritsugu fired a second bullet. This one was tipped with Hydra venom, ensuring the kill.

However, just as the second bullet was about to hit Tokiomi, a shield made of mercury intercepted it with a crisp metallic clang.

Kayneth leaped out from the underground passage, using his Mercury automaton to defend against any further shots while simultaneously protecting the man who had just been his opponent.

"Karna! Find that despicable coward who dared to ambush us!" Kayneth shouted while rushing to Tokiomi's side.

"Understood!"

Despite his weakened state, Karna was more than capable of handling a mere sneak attacker. He immediately flew in the direction of the shot, attempting to locate the assailant.

Kayneth crouched down, frowning as he examined Tokiomi's injuries, quickly realizing that this was no ordinary gunshot wound.

The reason Kayneth decided to save Tokiomi was that he regarded him as a rare magus who still upheld the noble ideals of magecraft in this era.

Furthermore, throughout their duel, Tokiomi had fought with complete fairness and honor, without resorting to any underhanded tactics.

"Your magic circuits have been destroyed by that rat," Kayneth said with a frown. "Do you have any last words? I swear by the name of El-Melloi that I will ensure your family's Magic Crest is passed on to your heir."

"My... my... pocket..." Tokiomi stammered weakly.

"Hmm?" Kayneth was puzzled. "What are you saying?"

"My... my... pocket... inside my coat... there's... there's..."
