Arcane: Twin Cities Mechanic

After completing the seventh-generation Source Plan: Infinite War Armor, Li Lin didn't rest for long. He immediately began working on the epic-level blueprint he had obtained when sealing Fiddlesticks— the Anti-Demon Device.

This device was a complete piece of equipment and belonged to the category of rune technology. It was not easy to craft, as it required engraving multiple advanced rune marks.

However, this wasn't a problem for Li Lin at his current level.

In just over three hours, he had created a "Anti-Demon Device" in the form of a chip, using nanotechnology so that it could seamlessly integrate into the armor's material, allowing it to transform freely.

The epic-level device provided Li Lin with 8 skill points, 500 orange essences, and two levels of experience, bringing him to level 79.

He only needed one more level to unlock "Anti-Gravity" and "Space Station" technology, as well as new design blueprints for building the "Space Construction Factory" and "Giant Assembly Factory."

These two space-faring factories were primarily designed to produce large machinery and the newly unlocked giant multifunctional transforming robot, the "Titan War Machine."

However, Li Lin wasn't in a hurry to level up for now. After all, he hadn't yet crafted the elite combat unit "Nasus" for the battlefield mechs.

Building the Titan War Machine required a huge amount of materials and money. At this stage, he had already produced too many mechanical forces, and his finances were somewhat tight, unable to keep up with the demand.

He still had to spend energy building the massive Tyrant Mech— the Behemoth. Right now, it wasn't even the right time to build a space station, let alone a combat weapon like the Titan War Machine, which was far stronger than the battlefield mech "Nasus" or the War Lord.

Moreover, after enchanting the Infinite War Armor, he only had about 500 orange essences left, which was far too little to purchase the blueprints...

With the creation of the Anti-Demon Device, the upgrade work for the seventh-generation Source Plan: Infinite War Armor was officially completed.

Li Lin glanced at the time; it was around four in the morning.

He drank a vial of Glimmer Potion to refresh himself, then turned to one side of the room. The AI immediately projected a neutral face.

"Zoe and Kyle's portal data, have you organized it for me?" 

As he spoke, Li Lin waved his right hand lightly, and a large area of projection data appeared before him, showing Zoe opening the portal and the scenes from his battles with Morgana and Kyle.

[Do you want to study the Space Portal Technology now?]

The face projected by the AI showed a puzzled expression, which looked strangely like a panda emoji.

Li Lin didn't know why the AI had developed this feature, but he was sure it had nothing to do with him…

"Let's take a look first."

He began by playing the footage of Zoe opening the spatial portal multiple times, then highlighted the various data points, comparing them to the data from when Kyle summoned a portal and fired a fire blade.

[There is a significant difference between Zoe's and Kyle's portals.]

[Zoe uses a method that distorts the laws of physics, twisting two separate spaces into corresponding points and breaking through the space between them. This creates a direct linear connection, forming a passage, allowing the body to be instantly transported, like walking through a door.]

Li Lin began to visualize the corresponding scene, as the AI projected a piece of parchment. It marked a dot in the center, then bent it, aligning the four corners and drawing a straight line through the point to the opposite side. 

This was a simple representation of how Zoe's portal worked.

"At first glance, it's a bit like quantum leap technology," Li Lin said in surprise.

Originally, when he traveled through Zoe's portals, he hadn't felt much, only occasionally noticing a feeling of falling when the position of the portal changed. 

Now, with a more concrete and intuitive understanding of the portal's principles, it seemed quite similar to the "warp" theory seen in some science fiction works, particularly the spacefaring ships that used "quantum technology."

The only difference between them was: Zoe's method twisted physical laws, whereas those ships used quantum technology.

Next, the AI explained the differences in Kyle's portal technology:

[Kyle's portal device is somewhat similar to the current Hextech Hex Gate, constructing a direct channel between two locations via magic, essentially transporting objects in particle form]

[Compared to Hextech portals, Astral Magic portals are much faster and more efficient, and they are not affected by any interference.]

[After all, Astral Magic is one of the fundamental elements that make up this universe.]

[However, unlike Zoe's method of directly transferring the body by distorting the laws of physics, Kyle's method is still somewhat lacking in that respect.]

"Hmm, I haven't had time to systematically organize my knowledge on quantum mechanics yet. There should be similar technologies in there too, right?"

Thanks to the power of quantum computing, the AI instantly projected the most suitable solution before Li Lin without any hesitation, as if reading his thoughts.

[With our current technology, we can approximate a fusion of Miss Zoe's and Miss Kayle's teleportation techniques.]

Li Lin stroked his chin thoughtfully, his eyes scanning over the estimated data and conceptual diagrams generated by the AI. He couldn't help but marvel inwardly. There was no need for him to think deeply— the AI had already calculated the feasibility of every proposed plan.

The prototype of the space portal technology, boasting a current success rate of 84.66%, relied on eight hyperspace devices to tear open spatial rifts at two separate locations. Items to be transported would be converted into quantum particle states in subspace, then reassembled upon exiting.

While promising, this method carried certain risks. The unpredictability of subspace made it potentially unstable, and vibrations caused by the spatial tears could result in the loss of quantum particles. 

If such a loss occurred, the reassembled object might appear intact but could have undetectable flaws, significantly deviating from the original. Transporting living beings through this method was even riskier—vital organs could be lost, and the individual might reassemble only to collapse instantly.

Yet, the AI proposed this technology for its distinct advantages over Hextech teleportation. Hextech gates function by converting matter into arcane particles and transmitting it through runic technology, relying heavily on the unique spiritual field of Runeterra. 

Outside of Runeterra, this spiritual medium didn't exist, rendering Hextech teleportation ineffective. 

Thus, Li Lin had to explore new teleportation methods that could operate independently of such specific factors.

After pondering for a long moment, Li Lin asked, "Have you designed a prototype of the hyperspace teleportation device?"

[Of course, Master,] the AI replied. [However, due to current technical limitations, it still carries significant risks and can only transport non-living objects.]

Li Lin envisioned Gaboga's image in his mind. "Non-living objects will suffice," he said.

Standing up, he glanced at the still-dark sky outside. "Organize this information and send it to my battle armor's system terminal. Then, call Professor Heimerdinger, Jayce, and Viktor."

[Now? They might still be sleeping,] the AI responded in surprise.

"Do as I say. Tell them to come to the academy—say I need their help with something urgent."

With a wave of his hand, the projection before him vanished, replaced by an eager grin. 

"I'm certain they'll find this technology fascinating."
